  1. Was just about to compare channel 7's v8 coverage to onehd when the coverage died with 2 laps to go, but they have just replayed the last 2 laps. So I'm happy now, lol. Great drive by whincup as usual to get so close at the end. he really is mr consistent.
  2. I used Samsung kies. Just downloaded and installed kies off the Samsung website, plugged phone into PC with the usb cable (with kies running), it pops up saying an update is available.
  3. yeah. should help him get a drive at redbull if webber goes at the end of the year
  4. i too have a galaxy s2, but i just upgraded to ICS 4.0, so that's why i have that other setting. try opening the site, going to the mobile view and then saving that page as a bookmark. check that the address has something about mobile at the end of it. then close the browser and open it again and go to sau via the bookmark. if it doesn't load the mobile page then hit refresh and see what happens. for me that solves the problem.
  5. it's a gift he has
  6. i'm sure jiffo will correct me if i'm wrong, but i think they are red claw yabbies.
  7. yeah made another thread about this and it was closed. what you want to know has been covered many many times. try a bit of searching and you will soon get answers. to answer your questions, well one in particular, "what sort of gains can you expect", that depends on so many variables. depends on the turbo, the amount of boost you run and various other things. you would be best of starting by working out what sort of power you want to make, what sort of characteristics you want (low end power or a lag monster) and then basing your mods around that. do that before you go asking questions about what turbo you should use, etc. another good question to ask yourself is how much you are willing to spend. a new turbo, injectors and ecu (won't be able to put in larger injectors without it, and can't safely put a bigger turbo on without both) will set you back around the $4500 mark (give or take a few hundred dollars), depending on turbo, etc. so work all that out, then do some searching in the forced induction section of the forum. you will find everything you need in there without needing to start a thread
  8. have you tried cleaning the IAC and AAC valves? (do a search on here). they control the idle speed. also resetting the ecu
  9. i knew i should've gone with my hunch and put the tool for pole
  10. not really suprised kimi is gone. has he qualified better than his team mate at any race so far this year? good to see dan into the top 10. but 2 of my top 10 predictions (tail enders of the top 10) didn't make Q3
  11. anyone who put schumi down as their prediction for the most overtakes tomorrow will be happy at his quali
  12. yep. schumi not making p2. hamo and button barely made it.
  13. yeah but he has to keep the rest of the lap tidy.
  14. i'm thinking the same thing about the tool. may pull one of his old last lap dashes out.
  15. could be one of a few things. might be worth stopping into your local suspension place and getting them to have a look if you are worried about it.
  16. DRS zone is on the main straight with the detection zone just before the last corner. no suprises there
  17. yeah unless one of the other teams has been sandbagging, or schumi pulls out a blinder, i think he has it as long as the pressure doesn't get to him. don't know if he has the goods to win again though.
  18. castrol predictions website seems to be down (can't get on). obviously lots of people like myself who just watched p3 are now putting their predictions in
  19. top right hand side of the screen you will see your name in the black bar (between "notifications" and "sign out"). click on it. that brings up a little flag with options. click on "my settings". then on the left hand side you will see "email & password" is second on the list. click that and scroll down the page a little bit
  20. cheers, now just gotta wait 45 mins for it to start......
  21. ah yeah. that makes a bit more sense, lol
  22. doesn't look that bad to me. i've certainly seen worse.
  23. rough estimates say about 40 years at current usage. it won't just be oil and fuel prices that will be affected though. look around your house and you will see that the majority of stuff is connected to oil in some way. plastic and rubber are the 2 main products that are oil based. take everything containing that out of the house and you might have be left with a table and chairs and some kitchen goods.
  24. in that case, make sure you tell him the truth, rather than the typical GTR fans story. the truth being that group A racing was already a dying category when the GTR was released, and it wasn't just australia to kill off the category (it was the end of group A racing that caused the banning of the GTR). also if they had the parity sorted from the start then the GTR wouldn't have been so dominant. so it was major flaws in the category that allowed the GTR to be so dominant (as well as the massive price difference in the cars). sorry, just my little pet peeve of green eyed nissan fans and their conspiracy theory of australian motorsport vs the GTR
  25. what are you wanting out of the car? what are you planning on using it for? how much are they wanting for it? if it's going to be a daily driver and you simply want it for getting from A to B then there are probably better choices out there, unless it's dirt cheap. but if it's dirt cheap then you have to ask why it's dirt cheap.
