  1. yeah at least they are consistent with their shit broadcasts. surely someone who works for 10 would be watching the commentary and could tell them there is no sound. on the topic of the race though, good start by webber
  2. as long as it doesn't rain.......
  3. vettel out on hards? did they accidently think he was webber? lol
  4. the cry baby put in a flyer. button second. webber faster than vettel once again.
  5. "raikkonen had to make a small adjustment there....." i'd call that a massive adjustment when he had to almost go full opposite lock
  6. if the steering wheel vibrates/feels 'notchy' as you turn then it is most likely caused by a dodgy power steering pump. check that you have enough fluid in there in case it is just a low fluid issue. also you don't want your belts super tight. just tight enough, otherwise you will shag the bearings in the pulleys.
  7. massa out of q3, lol
  8. +1 for autech s15 as for squeezing more power out, it's a natro, don't bother.
  9. almost didn't recognise the broadcast. no ads during each qualifying sector. as for updates jase, still only q2. massa is most likely going to miss q3 because he's..... well driving like massa
  10. yeah as above, pretty much every auto parts store has them.
  11. the clutch issue is most likely caused by an issue with the clutch line. may just need a bleed. as for the power issue, it may be an issue with the afm, spark plugs, fuel, cooler piping, etc. i'd start with a new fuel filter, new spark plugs, cleaning the afm and checking the cooler piping for leaks/hose popped off. checking the ecu for fault codes would probably be a good idea too. and did you put 10L of injector clean/octane boost in? if so then that won't be helping your cause. you would be better off draining the fuel out and putting fresh fuel in.
  12. what happens if you open the throttle bodies a little bit by hand? does it still just rev up, or do the revs just blip like they should?
  13. never heard about nissans engaging the aircon in reverse. there would be a very simple way to check this though. put the car into reverse and listen for the click of the aircon.
  14. my guess is that they feel bad about him getting smacked in the head just saw that the 2011 tour de france coverage by sbs has been nominated for a logie for best sports coverage. no surprises there really given that during the 3 weeks of racing they probably have less ads than what channel 10 showed today, and only talk to people who know what they are talking about.
  15. did you actually ask for any solutions? i'd possibly suggest going to a different podiatrist (possibly even a sports podiatrist) and having a chat to them, and possibly even asking about getting orthotics made. in the mean time, i'll ask mum for any tips for you. she's the receptionist at a podiatrist. she can have a talk to the people at work
  16. was a great race (from what little amount they showed). plenty of close battles all the way through the pack. glad to see massa off to a great start by finding someone new to run into and scoring a DNF. would've liked to have seen where Dan would've finished if he hadn't had to pit on the first lap for a new front wing.
  17. modelled on the reliant robin?
  18. the average lap speed for pole position at the 2012 daytona 500 was over 194mph, even with restrictor plates. race lap speed is higher because of drafting. but the corners there aren't that sharp. they still sit on around 190mph through the corners, and hit just under 200mph at the end of the straights. at tracks like texas they don't run restrictors. they drop down to 175mph in the corners but get back up to just under 200mph. they also rev up to nearly 10000rpm at texas, while daytona they only rev up to around 9000rpm (because they are flat to the floor pretty much the whole time) the daytona lap record though is from 1987 though, with an average speed of over 210mph. pretty good for a dirty old v8, lol
  19. yeah and why bother going to ads on a v8 supercar race that's only 15 laps long? they go to ads and half the race is over when they come back
  20. as i said before, using more lube will help with that
  21. A+ thread, will definitely read again
  22. that dopey young blonde they had interviewing the guy with the old cars looked like she'd taken a load to her eye and it was half glued shut, lol
  23. must've been a short track. the big ovals they will hit well over 200mph. top speed i've seen was near on 210mph (over 335kmh) the sprint cup race i watched a few weeks back had a bit of a tech thing on it and the car they were showing then didn't have an ecu. they said it didn't even have a fuel sensor.
  24. yeah and they are only running a 4 speed box, no ecu at all and during most races the top speed will be higher than what f1 cars reach.
  25. followed a 4 door 32 gts-t from noosa to cooroy on my way home from work today. had a cage, exhaust was just about scraping on the ground and i'd possibly suggest getting a wheel alignment as the drivers side rear wheel looked to have a bit more camber to it than the passenger side. could just be my eyesight though.
