in 99% of cases though it is caused by the sensor being dodgy. mine used to come on the moment i started the car, so unless someone had stolen my car and parked it a few seconds before i walked out the door to go to work i was pretty sure it was a dodgy sensor, LOL
-
there is also a s14 with a ls2 in it getting around (not a member on here though).
-
that's how they had the previous saves mid race, and other racing games i've played with enduro races were the same also.

only if i put spinners on the back and got a few panels in different colours they could also have the kimi award, for the first person to tell a commentator they were having a shit -
as above, how do you have it hooked up? if it's simply running off the stock o2 sensor then ignore it as it won't tell you squat, except for at light load when it may tell you whether your o2 sensor is working properly or not.
-
yeah nothing wrong with your plugs. when the tips, etc are a coffee colour then you aren't running too rich or too lean. as for the build up on the socket of the plug, could be what you said (leaking rocker cover, etc) but probably nothing too drastic
-
no, that is the cat temp sensor (which does bugger all other than put a light on the dash on). the o2 sensor is in the dump pipe

or the person who can throw up in their helmet the most, while still being able to race. or just the person with the biggest chin. hahahaha, i like that idea what about the dick johnson award, for the car that manages to hit a rock on the track and get totalled. or the 92 bathurst award, for the person who is able to crash their car but manage to still win the race thanks to a perfectly timed red flag or the craig lowndes award for the car that can flip the most times off the side of the track. there could be a similar mark webber based award for the car that gets the most air time while flipping. or the hamilton award, for the person who can take out the most people in a season and the vettel award for the most annoying prick -
aren't the old hybrid and new HDI the same company? pretty sure they are.

all of the above

wouldn't that be for the person who manages to lose the most amount of positions before the first corner? and how about a Gympie Award, for the most bogan car? -
when i get around to putting them back online i'll let you know
-
wow, that crash was epic. cars flying everywhere, literally.

there isn't actually that many of those jobs going around. also you need to realise that, at a guess, 1/3 of all jobs advertised are all ready filled before the ad is even placed. from what i am aware, it is a legal requirement for the job to be advertised.

even a 10" tyre would've been of benefit.

you obviously haven't thought it through. lets say your house is on fire. you would have to pay for the firemen to put it out. what if you don't have the money? sorry, yor get to watch your house burn to the ground. car gets stolen? you're going to have to come up with the cash before the police even take down what your rego details are. crash your car and get taken to hospital and need emergency surgery to save your life but don't have health insurance? better hope your bank balance is healthy. do some research on the american health system to get an idea of just how, errr, 'well' a user pays system works. oh and back to the car crash, if you weren't at fault, you would also have to pay the police to do up a police report in order to get your insurance money. this is possibly the most intelligent thing you've posted, however there is still a flaw in this. you will never get 100% employment. to even get close to it would require you to force people to move to other towns/cities for work. how would you like to lose your job, then after a few months of being unemployed get a phonecall saying that you had to move interstate to work at a maccas in some backwater town? sure that sounds like a stupid example, but for your idea to work it would have to be done. the thing with governments is that while what they do might not seem to be the best idea, in a lot of cases it will be one of the few that actually works when put into practice. at the end of the day, someone on a low income in a user pays system probably wouldn't make enough money to pay for all the services they may use in a year, let alone living costs. having a tiered taxation system means that the wealthier people are proping up the lower income earners. if this wasn't the most user friendly option then it wouldn't be used in pretty much every country in the world. and you'll never get rid of the state governments, so no point even thinking about it. the only way to get rid of them is for them to vote themselves out, which isn't going to happen.

LOL, yeah those sierra's were the bomb. they also had different regulations due to being in a lower category. for example they had to run skinnier tyres. they could only run a 9" wide tyre, while the GTR could run 11" wide tyres. power output i don't think the sierra was too much lower than the GTR. they were putting out about 650hp. had they been able to run 11" wide tyres i think the GTR probably wouldn't have been as dominant.

there's a difference between having an opinion and not knowing what you are talking about. you fall into the latter. do you think australia is the only country to charge a stamp duty on all cars sold? it might not be called stamp duty in other countries, but they will have some form of tax.

ok a few things, firstly, i know that a lot of people on the dole are bludgers. dude, i'm from gympie. it's full of them. as for rego prices, etc, we have it pretty good. a lot of europe pays much more than us. hell, just the fuel excise the british government takes is twice what the australian government does. as for pay of politicians, i actually think it's too low. they are running the fucking country!!! there are business owners making much, much more than what the prime minister is. the owner of your local mcdonalds is probably earning close to, or even more than, what the PM is. if you cut the wages of politicians then a lot of them won't bother to run, because they could easily earn more money in other jobs, so you will get a heap of useless (well more useless) morons in there running the country and it would turn to shit pretty quickly.

this. some of them even say "if the GTR was allowed to race in the v8 supercars it would flog them all like it did in the group A days". sorry boys, it wouldn't, because for it to run it would have to be running a 5.0L v8, and only rwd. so like the current V8 supercars, it would just be a generic racecar with a GTR shell (which would have to be cut and shut to make it the right size). the GTR isn't smashing all the other cars out of the water in the JGTCC classes because in those it's not running AWD and is running a v8, like all the other cars.

Shocking Fuel Economy. What Sensors To Replace
mad082 replied to reeceo21's topic in General Maintenance
yeah at light load the o2 sensors make the car run at around 14.5:1 AFR, if you unplug the o2 sensor, at the same throttle load it will run richer at aroung 12:1 AFR -
my guess is a leak in the intercooler piping or intake manifold gasket.
-
just extend the wiring. but the easier solution is to leave it where it is.
