Eoi Braided Stainless Steel Brake Line`s For Stagea
stasis replied to chuckie's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Arent the lines are the same with the R33s? I was being told that for mine (260rs) they are the same as the R33GTRs. and the clutch lines too. Im interested in one if the price is right. -
Hei Cheef, actually in terms of handling it boils down to suspension. First is th shock absober and springs. I will choose the Blistein with eibach springs. I kno i know. Ive got a TEIN. But i think Blisteing is worth it. Cos i have a 100 series cruiser and i put on the blistein shockies and man the difference it made to the car. Secpmd are the Swaybars to keep the bodyroll in check. Third. Good alignemnt. I think SK recommended a "all round" setting on the suspension thread. And this is a few years amd the recommendations are still there i think. As for sturt brace i dont know cos i havent tried it for myself. So i cant tell you there. Last but not least tyres. And i think its also a matter of preference. Dont go for the cheap chinese or taiwanese tyres. They allrite for normall cars but i dont think it pars uip with high performance. For me personally Goodyear GSD3. The lowest i go is the Maxxiss MAZ1. Sumitomo is also good and i think the model is HTC2 if i remember correctly. Hopes this helps. Its my 2C worth. Cheers, Yudy

Actually. you only need a set of 17" rims right? Doesnt need to be the original autech. As long its the same size as the original specs for the 260rs its useable for the compliance. Soz i just taught of it. hope this will help.

-
Hi, you make for a Nissan 260Rs S1? ITS GOT The brembo brakes on it same as the R33Gtr. And clutch lines as well. thanks.
-
Helo Guys, just to confirm this. 18x9 +20 5/114.3 fitted with 245/40R18 will fit onto the 260rs? Cos i read somewhere in this thread that i wll need spacers and longer wheel nut for the rear rims. thanks peps.

260rs S1 Suspension/coliovers What To Get?
stasis replied to chef_stagea's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
How much $$ are you planning to spend on the coilovers? If abt 2ks i think you are better off getting the SK's setup with the Eibach springs. The best of the best. And you can rebuild blistein shocks. My spring rates are listed in my signature. They are nice and firm but not hard. -
thanks buddy .

Choosing A New Clutch For An Rs4s
stasis replied to Raysboostin's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Get an NPC clutch. You can find them in the Skyline clutch section. They are cheap to rebuilt compared to the others. Driveability will be normal. -

Do you mean the upper arm for the rear? Id it is yea, you can use the R33 GTST ones . Cos when i bought mine i chose the R33GTR ones cos mine is the 260Rs. So im quite sure for yours would be the same as the R33GTST. If you get the adhustable ones be sure to get it with the rubber "condom" so the dirts wont get it too easily. As for the toe is there one for the rear? I dont think it will have it cos its not 4WS. But i might be wrong. Loot at Just japs ones they have a few adjustable arms. Hope this helps

I agree on the no drama issue. but probably SK is refering to the performance issues. And comparing to blistein? [rpbably is "poo".
-
blistein with eibach springs will do it and its value too. Get it from Sk although it might take a while to get it but it worth the wait. I will be thinking of changing to Sk' blistein once i get back to oz. So by then by Tein Ha will be up for sale and its barely done 5k. Dont get me wrong about Tein, it is a good shocks but i prefer blistein. I have used blistein in my lancruiser 100 series and i loved it.
-
just get the x force metal cat. cheap and good. be sure to get the high flow one its worth it.
-
Frankly speaking i got Tein HAs on my rig and they are all right compared to blisteins. Those shocks that you mentioned they at the bottom range. Doesnt matter if they are coilovers. How much you are looking to spend? If its about 1.5k to 2k just go for Blistein. Ypu will never regret it. They are one of the best shocks around firm but not hard. Just gor for blisteins with Eibach springs the best money can buy. Hope this helps.
