  1. A thought, Euro cars are not chea[ to mod. Very expensive. and not as much parts to choose from.
  2. Ask yourself these questions : 1. Do you want a later dodel stagea or an older one. Taking into consideration of the RB25 and the rRB 25 Neo? Neo got a little bit more pwoer and better fuel consumption. Of course neo one is a bit more expensive. 2. Do you plan to mod the car? If you do do you want to mod the wagon with the parts you wanted? Meaning you want to set it up yourself instead of buying a car already being moded? Another thing to take into consideration is when you buy the car already moded (eg. exhaust, suspension, air intake ETC) you will be in a bit of hassles when getting it compliance. Meaning you will need to revert it back o the original parts and it will cost you more money during compliance.. unless you buy a stock std wagon like me no problems during comliace except for my front brake pads in my case. Really its up to you. What do you want and whats your budget? Do you allow for unforseen costs? Like extra $$ put aside for just incase? Like me it costme extra $500 for the compliance. Also for the mileage on the car, dont take it into account. High probability that the ODO reading has been tampered with. Too low for a car at its age. unless you are really lucky to get a genuine low mileage car. Think about it. Do you dare to risk it? If you want a wagon thats already moded get the car loaclly thats already modded. let us know if you need anything else. Hope this helps. Pointing in the right direction.
  3. As far as i know R32/33 GTR are the same and same for the 260rs. I got a R33GTR ECU and it fit perfectly onto 260rs. Atleast thats wat my tuner says SDU shpuld have more info on this. Aks Simon. He should know
  4. Hi guys, i was looking at this section and there wasnt any thread that specifically disscuss all the difference in a clutch. Should we just start up a recommendation list? Accodring the the power output? Then the recommended type of clutch? All this while we have just take what the seller recommends. I personally have a 260rs. The engines and trans are very similar to an R33GTR. Spoken to Jim Berry a while ago and he reocmmends his STD HD clutch for about $800+( cant remember the exact figure) and with a swap over for my old one. Im pumping out 236.5kw$wheels and im still using the std clutch and im prettu sure it going soon. Now there is cushion and button kits, 5 puk and 6 puk. Wat does it really means? Which clutch type is most suited for a specific power output and not sacrificing driveability especially in a city traffic.
  5. did you do a complete write up on it? How did you managed to wire up everthing. That thing you bought on yahoo auction look likes a spilled spagehti on the floor!! LOL!!
  6. yea i can tell from the number plate. have you finished your conversion yet?
  7. you need to be tuned for it for the V power to be really effective. My car was tuned using Mobil 98. My tuner recommends during tune to fill up with either Bp ultimate or Mobil. After the tune use boost 98 is fine which i did. From memory boost 98 is about 15cents cheaper than 100ron after discount. So its quite alot /year. try boost 98 for a few tanks you wont feel much difference apart from the pirce!! LOL :sorcerer: My whole family uses Boost 98 except for my younger bros 350Z he says nissan dont recomend it. So i said if you git the $$ why not. And my other younger bros swift gt also uses boost 98 as well and its good cant complain. My dad's ther 2 cars

  9. wow SK your ass is even tighter than mine Kidding man. well thats smart move. How did you get the 20cent focket? Hugh try using the boosy 98 and see what you think? Its alot cheaper than the 100Ron. Not much difference in performance compared to the price check on the united website on ealier pages on this thread to see wheter United is avail in you area for the boost 98. Well this is not being a tight ass or wat for buying this fuel. Its just being smart and being so called " more evironment friendly" fuel. So at least we not not polutin as much. dont you guys think? If really you guys want 1-- ron add an equilcalent of a coke ca of ethanol into each think b4 u feel up!! LOLOLO!!!

  21. Hei Nick, yea its oggd. In the distance for one tank compared to a regualr 98 traveled same distance on 1 tank? Yoko, obviously you are not a purchasing officer like me!! LOL every cent counts.
  22. give racbrakes a call in flemington. His pads are cheap too. for normal pads i think it was like $250/pair of fronts. His name is Howard. Tharaka- wow thats a very good price for labor. You didnt buy the parts from them? or they just fit it for you? you supply your own parts? I asked around to change just the clutch will cost me like $400.
  23. err look at the vpsec and compare lots of things in differences. too long to list. OK 7.5mill equates to about 90k and how much after import suties, compliance and on road costs? 150k at least? hmm sounds much better than an M3.
  24. is Kei's any good? Let us know.
