  3. just reviving an old tread. How many of you guys have tried the boost 98 ? Whats the feedback on this. After my tune i have been running with the Boost 98 eversince. No problems.

  6. it makes the engine fart louder thats all. It doesnt improve the performance at all. When i first joined the forum the BOV "the fart valve" was on my mod list. And these guys are the ones who talked me out of it. And i needed 2 BOV which will cost me around 800 bucks. so... . Reakky you dont need the BOV you rather spend it on something else like pod filters and the cold air intake box . If you talk to cruiseliner in regards of the BOV im pretty sure he will spank your ass and say :P dibt touch the damn thing. Well he made his point out to me. LOLOLO!!! But i saved $$though.

  9. Guys where can i get like a Nismo driving gloves or any japanese brand ones? Dont trust the Ebay ones looks dody as. Dont want a Nascar type ones. Doesnt matter as long its leather with padding on. Cos i do long distance driving if i got the gloves it will be much better. THanks
  10. Ohh oK thanks Nick. That shouldnt be a problem since i change the headunit myself. THanks again. This Led light have been bugging me since i got the car almost 1yr now. Geez thats quick 1 year already. I dont think i will ever sell the car, it will be a ripper in abt 10yrs.

  13. will take into consideration. It make sense as well for the fuel system. I think the pump is about betweeb2-300bucks as apposed to the injectors which is about 800bucks.
  14. just use K&N. judt dont oil them too much. I've used them for over 10yrs and never got a problem with AFMs. WHen you washed and eoil them dont overkill on the oil.
  15. if i were to change to a GTSS turbos do i need to strengthened the internal? Pumping out 300kw@wheels or there abouts? wat boost do i have to run on (max) before i need to upgrade my fuel system sucha as fuel pump and injectors)? soz guys have to be really detail here working on a tight budget!! appreciate the comments from fellow SAU members which had been really help ful to me all this while.
  16. actually it depends how much hp u have under the hood. My car is timed to 233.5kw@wheels and using K&N drop in replacements filter which is highflow. This was recommended by Ben from Racepace. He said no need to use pods unless when you are going for high hp really high!! But from memory the drop in filters is good for 300kw@wheels. At first i thaught of changing to a pod filter but other than the niose it makes theres no power up or wat soever. But if you really want pod i think i would use the K&N. Remember higher flow means less filter. Also may i suggest using a heat shield no use using a pod w/o a heat shield it will decrease the performance cos it sucks in hot air. Hope it helps.   17. not a problem. but i stil have a vision and thos will need the participition of all stagea owners. Get together (from all coners of OZ) once and take a picture and it will be a historical mark. Post it on the web like those japs did!!! Probably we will do the mod lists by section.EG exhaust section, Turbos section, Air filter section, Rims section ETC. Then do my models RS4s and 260rss. Feautres everybody in it just a simple page and state what they did to the car. Wat do you think?
  18. cool idea luke. Will the website have supporting softwares as well? Such as FAST, manuals ETC? Probably it will b cook to make it a one stop website where it will have everything. Perhaps asking SDU for an alliance? Dont shoot me guys, you said it any suggestion would b welcomed!!LOL!

  20. ohh ok if thats the case GTSS is a cheaper option for me then. This is what im thinking, since i will b doing mostly city and hwy driving i dont need a big turbos. Meaning i want to have full boost at 3rd gear will the GTSS turbos suit this application? Will ask Ben when i get back into the country.
  21. you mean if i use the GTSS turbos i dont need to upgrade the fuel inectors and the AFM? My aim is to achieve 300kw@wheels.
  22. Yea but i want to have some sort of idea first before i speak to him and weigh out my options first(budget wise!!). On the stick thread turbo upgrade people who used 2530s turbos uprgraded the injectors but not the fuel pump (accidentally left out of typing?).
  23. Hi guys, got my car tuned to 233.5kw@4wheels (read my sig for the list of mods i did to the car. Now if i were to upgrade the stock STD turbos to 2530s wat do i need to upgrade to support the turbos? I have read the sticky thread on the Rb26 turbo upgrade and i read a few guys did it. But in the list the didnt specify which fuel pump they use and fuel pressure regulator and injectors. So is it safe to say i need to upgrade the injectors(800cc), fuel pressure regulator and a 044 fuel pump? Apart upgrading the clutch (to jim berry specs) what else do i need? THanks for the opinions guys. P/s : My aim is to get 300kw@wheels.
