  1. yea get a Power Fc , full exhaust system, drop in replavement filter, up the boos to 1 bar. ANd you got a beast.
  2. well my ECU is seperate but my car alarm and immobelizer and turbo timer all in one htough
  3. there you go another statisfied user. The best of all is the savings roughly about 10bucks/tanks in savings. doesnt take into considerations the discount fuel vouchers of 4cents/liter.
  4. hmm you might want to call the gas station and ask them wheter they have boost 98? Thats wat i did and i asked them about the price too!! They wer a bit reluctant in telling me the prices over the phone. I was just driving back today from the city to Heathcote and i past wallan and kilmore. These 2 towns and United boost98 and their prices was 10cent different!!!! Keep a sharp eye on the prices dont get ripped off people.
  5. You can actually check out the United website and you will be able to see a listing of the service station which got the boost 98. Im on my 3rd tanks now im sold on it. Wouldnt get the normal 98 now. Filling up a tank now would cost me no more than $60 now.
  6. i have put in my second tanks of boost98. Its only marginal diffrent than a normal 98 you wont be able to feel it. But my wallet is better off now
  7. Castrol 10-60 are not a true 10-60 . at high temprerature its like 10-45. If werent for Ben, i wouldnt even think of using castrol. but thats just me though. I think i woll be sticking with mobil 1 15w-50. I can get them cheap anyway.
  8. ohh i forgot to mention. I filled up with boost 98 on tuesday when i was driving up from the city. Overall i felt the car running smoother. Milaeage wise it seems to be the same but theres a price difference by about 10cents/liter compared to the normal 98 octane fuel. I will be using this fuel all the time now for this car. so...
  9. Thanks man. Well im just going by Ben's word and he said if its rwkw that will put it up to about 250kw. so... Another thing guys fuel gauge. Just wondeirng when you switch everything on the ignition. Soes the fuel gauges goes down to E or it stays at the watever level is your fuel on?
  10. i dont know i didnt ask. If the man say it is then it is. Im just going by his wirds thas all. Meanwhile we are at that i have been told to use 10w-60 Castrol. Can i use 15w-50 or 20w50? Its other brands not castrol i hacte Castraol. im thinking of using Mobil1 15w-50 or Amsoil 20w-50.
  11. thanks guys for the compliments. Pictures to come as soon the car is washed and i will take a few good shots for everybody to enjoy note everything looks stock standard tough. To the questions : 1. Mods i did was just a K&N drop in replacement filter, can gears and power Fc thats all of it. Ohh like wat tangles said its running at 1 bar boost with stock std boost controller.

  13. yea true but remember that he didnt disengage the 4wd. and all 4 wheels were on the rollers so i assume its still 4wkw though dont you think? Thanks cruisy. Im real happy with it.
  14. well cos its a rb26 engine in it not the rb25. I was being told that the rb26 are much easier to mod to get alot of hps ohh ben told me that the car was only making about 150+kw@wheels before the tune and after tune its 236.5kw. So theres a gain at about 86kws@wheels.
  15. Well nice to meet you too today. Im sure with have shot loads of things to disscuss. Well when i first called Ben in Racepace i told him what i want and how im goign to drive it. I told him im looking for durability and realibility thats the priority. Then i told him that this was goin to be a street car mostly 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear ( cant go any faster than 110km/h anyway ) . Hence the result of the tune. I drove it again this evening its a bit scary though when the power comes on on the 2nd and third and i have to back out on the gas pedal. Pverall im pretty pleased with it despite it didnt make the 250kw@wheels. But its enough i guess. Enough to kill the FPVs and the HSVs drivers. muahuhauhauhauahahu!!!!!!

  17. well i got the car back. First impression it sounds normal and stuff but when you drive it its a whole different car. Throttle response is much quicker and crispier. Turbos spool faster. Torque is crazy planted my ass onto the seat when you step on the gas pedal. I like it :sorcerer: . BTW Mods i did to the car Power Fc, original boost controller, Cam gears, Drop in panel replacement filter and a full 3" exjaust system with a high flow cat. Bottomline it maxed out at 236.5kw@4wheels. Will post the dyno result tommorow.
  18. there was a bit of hick up during the tune but this is laargely due to the cam gears i supplied ben with. Its all good now should get the car back about after lunch. Will keep you guys updated once i get the car.

  20. I use Mobil for everything. USE ONLY ATF FOR YOUR TRANSFER CASE. Castrol is a not so good oil. They dont make their own oil. That tells you something..
  21. actually i was a bit disapointed though for the delays but wat can i do. Hopefully it will be a treat when i get the car back.
