  1. Will take $15000 if sold this weekend.
  2. Still for sale. $16000.
  3. The car is fitted with a full SS body kit, LSD, cat-back exhaust system (sounds nice and is perfectly legal), 17" mags and FE2 suspension (same as SS). It looks and goes like an SS, but with the comforts of a Calais (climate control, leather, sunroof, 10 stack CD etc)
  4. Still for sale, car has 12 months rego and is fully optioned. LS1 V8, leather trim, sunroof, LSD... $16000.
  5. I put 12 months rego on the car today. When the car was inspected, the mechanic said that the car is in outstanding condition, absolutely no problems what-so-ever.
  6. Looks good. Interested in a 2000 VT Calais 5.7L? Here are the details: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=146025
  7. Here is all the details of the car. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=146025 Yes, being a Calais it is auto. With the V8, the auto isn't too bad, it is a great car for daily driving, acceleration/overtaking etc is great. It is basically stock except the exhaust so it sounds a little better. It is fully optioned with leather, sunroof, LSD, 10 stack CD, ABS, traction control, cruise control, power everything etc. It is a fantastic car, hasn't missed a beat since I got it (only 3 months ago), but I miss having a sports car, I used to have an R33 (see my avatar pic) and I miss how much fun it was. I am located in Picton - NSW Southern Highlands. If you are interested, and want to contact me - 0411174831 or [email protected]
  8. Is this thing still for sale? Don't want to swap for a spotless VT Calais 5.7L do you? Calais suspension would be good over the dirt roads.
  9. Here are the pics... Note that the car has 17" Clubsport mags in the pics (I still have 3 of them if the purchaser want them).
  10. I am looking at selling my VT Calais 5.7L, looking at perhaps another Skyline. Here are the details: 2000 VT Calais 5.7L V8 (LS1), Auto 110000kms Rego 20/12/07 Car is fully optioned, has many inclusions: Factory Leather Trim Factory Electric Sunroof Factory Fitted LSD Factory Fitted FE2 Suspension (same as on SS) 10 Stack CD Player Full SS Bodykit VX SS 17" Mags, brand new 235/45/17 tyres (Pirellis front, Wanli's back) Power everything Dual-Zone Climate Control Air-Con Twin 2.5" exhaust from cat-back. Sounds great without being too loud. ABS Traction Control (switchable, so it will light the tyres up at will if you want to) The car is immaculate inside and out, no dents or major scratches, interior is perfect. Myself and the previous owner were non-smokers, and the car has never been fitted with the smokers pack. Holden Service Records - original log book. No history of piston slap problems or oil usage problems, the car now has 110000kms, so it is unlikely to develop any such problems. This car is a fantastic luxury cruiser, looks, goes and handles like an SS, but with the creature comforts of a Calais. Reason for selling is that I find the car a little boring with the auto trans, I want a manual sports car again. Would prefer swap for R33 GTS-T, will consider VT/VX SS or VS Ute- manual only. $16000. Pics will be posted tonight.
  11. No, it is stock. The fact that I have not seen the light again could just be a glitch or something, but it is rather strange. I think I will probably get rid of it anyway, I have never been a big fan of 4WS.
  12. Thanks guys, Merlin I must have missed your thread on my first search, but I saw it afterwards and answered some of my questions. Seems a bit wierd that it came on once, then when I turned the car off, and back on again it never came back. I think i will probably end up getting a lock-bar anyway, but I was curious to know why it may occur. I will check the fluid levels to start with.
  13. Just wondering what would cause the Hicas light to come on while driving. The other day I was driving (in the rain), when the orange Hicas light on the dash came on. The steering went really wierd, varying between too heavy and too light. After about 1 minute or so, I pulled over, turned the car off, turned it back on and the Hicas light stayed off, haven't seen it since.... Any idea what might have happened there?
  14. Still available. Needs to go, has been listed on carsales and in trading post this week (is on TP website now).
  15. It is already cheap for a Series 2 in this condition, so the price is not negotiable. I paid $18500 only 3 months ago. If I can't get $16500 then I will probably keep it. Hopefully I will have better luck in the Trading Post...
  16. Ok, I have spoken to a few people about this, including a Dyno Dynamics Shootout operator (not the one who tested the car). I have trouble believing that a stock R33 with only turbo-back exhaust and pod filter can make 178rwkw, but noone seems to be able to give me a straight answer. I can't post my dyno sheet so I guess, it doesn't really matter. I would like to try and understand how a dyno works, so I can then work out how accurate power figures are when you see dyno print outs.
  17. Bump again. Car needs to go, also advertised on Carsales website and TP next week. Get in before it is gone.
  18. No, nothing wrong with it more than a bit of moisture in the left hand headlight (probably just needs re-sealing). The car looks good and goes well, hasn't caused me any problems. The AFR "problem" i had wasn't really a problem at all. The car has never been tuned, it still has the stock ECU. When I got the car dyno'd, I noticed it was running a little lean - a little, not dangerously lean. I got a fuel pressure test to make sure that the pump and regulator are ok, which they are (fuel pressure was 240-250kpa). My guess is that the car just needs a service, probably injectors need cleaning or new fuel filter. I have only had the car for 3 months, and has done less then 2000kms, I haven't had a chance to get it serviced yet - I have been meaning to, but my mechanic doesn't open Saturdays anymore. Anyway, if you are interested, give me a bell. anexiole: I agree it is worth more than $16500, I paid $18500 only 3 months ago, but I am after a quick sale before the SS I want is gone....
  19. Bump. This car is in great condition with long rego, very few modifications. Unfortunately it needs to go to finance a new project.
  20. Here is some pics. They aren't the greatest quality, my digi camera isn't working so I took these with my phone. You can see everything is brand new, still in the plastic. This is the first time that it has been out of the box.
  21. Yeah, I know. I will try to get some tonight. I only picked the kit up from the post office yesterday so I haven't had much time. I will post up pics as soon as I can.
  22. I am in Picton, South-West Sydney a bit past Campbelltown.
