Some real nice sedan's there. Here's mine, although it's completely stock. Wanna make it a really nice ride ( i prefer a great ride over top end performance) So i wanna get some sportier suspension while slightly lowering it, get some descent looking wheels (not chrome) and do a bit to the engine (up the boost, injectors, full exhaust). Will all be done by mid next year if everything sails smoothly till then (somehow doubt it) Love the car though, its a very nice ride, love the luxury compared to my old 91 laser! Also it has the premium sound system in it which sounds very nice for a stock system. Whole car is 100% stock except for a sticker on the rear bumper! Im in canberra though.

Any R33 Owners Get Their Keys Cut?
33Sedan replied to 33Sedan's topic in Australian Capital Territory
given it back 3 times now. Will tell them to start again and make sure they grind it deeper. Cheers. really annoying as its such a simple thing. -
don't look on the market. They are often very overpriced. got a 33 s1.5(95) turbo manual. pearl white. grade 4. very good condition. 100% stock. 76000k's. $13000 (everything included except rego), this thing is in awesome condition, came complete with factory premium sound system. Got it through SSPI (www.sspi.com.au) i recomend them thorouly. I was looking at the same sorta car but older (93), more kays, worse condtion for 17-20000 (manual). Email them anyway and see if they can find a car to your description and price range. i think its very worthit. If you want more details PM me and ill share.

Just got my r33 series 1.5 sedan gtst manual from japan. Its extremely nice. In awesome condition and done 75000k's. Nothing has been changed in it at all, 100% original. Using the standard tape/radio, i noticed it had cd written on it, later finding there was a 10 cd stacker. When i put a nice cd in and pumped it up, i noticed how incredibly good it sounded for a stock system. I then looked around finding there was tweeters in the a pillars, and in the back was massive kenwood speakers that look quite old, connected to a kenwood amp which is very small and also has nissan written on it, it is bolted on to some frames where the battery is (behind the rear seats). I was asking around and most people think this stereo has to be aftermarket, but because of its beautiful integration, i don't think so. Just wondering if anyone else has/had this. Here are some photos. So is this factory? option? or aftermarket?

About Time For A Cruise, Dyno Day, Bbq Anything.
33Sedan replied to SLY SKY's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Im in. getting my car registered this tuesday. Don't really care what we do. aslong as we do some cruising. Wouldn' mind a dyno day or photo thing. -
Just got my r33 skyline sedan (5spd turbo). It was a great deal, and an awesome car. can't thank sspi enough. If you want an import, or to comply your car and your in or around sydney (they are in kirrawee), i strongly recomend you call them. They did an awesome job of keeping in contact and keeping me informed. In the end they got the car i wanted for the price i wanted. They are very friendly and make you feel like family. Provided an excellent service, no dramas at all, recomend them also to any first time importer as they do everything, no need to worry! www.sspi.com.au Even if its for spares, drop them an email, im sure they will offer to help.

I found a good cheap boost controller for $22!!!
33Sedan replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I am a noob. Wanting to buy this for my stock 33 turbo. I notice that the car is meant to be hitting i think 7psi standard but rarely hits it, more like 5-6. Will getting this and say putting it to 8psi or something mean that it will hit 8psi all the time (when on full boost). Cheers. Also what is the max for safest and most reliable operation for the 33 gts-t. I am only looking to maintain a good level of boost instead of constantly getting below tha standard -
This may be a really stupid question but I am looking at getting a blow off valve for my r33, i know there are a few different sounds that i have heard a blow off valve produce and was just wondering if most commercial BOV's make the basic sound or not? How do u know what they sound like. I like the sound of the ones they generally use in a rally. no idea how to describe that.

Fresh from Japan pics
33Sedan replied to Beer Baron's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
This one is being shipped from japan today (for me) don't think anything has been touched on this car, done 76000k's, still has the original stereo, wheels, exhaust, everything and is a series 1.5. pretty sure its 100% stock. Can't wait to get it. These pics are straight from japan dealer to my complier. Hope it goes well. Paid only $12500 I know it is not fresh FROM japan but it will be soon, and i will post the pics up then. Oh and yes if anyone has spotted there is one modification, there is a sticker on the right side rear bumper! -
This one appears to be a genuine nissan grill, comes with connectors and badge.

Just wondering if this is a straight fit swapping a series 1 grill for a gtr grill. Mate is giving me one for $50 and I think it looks ALOT better (and its same colour as my car). It appears to be a straight fit but just wanted to double check. Cheers

Are most people from southside? I'm in theodore. Have seen plenty of skyline in the gordon area. Would be very easy to meet up at maccas lanyon ;-). Anyways. Take it easy hopefully catch you guys later.

Give it up. the coupe does look better in stock form i agree. but hey, a ferrari looks better than a skyline, so why did all the couple owners get a skyline. so stupid. maybe cos they like the skyline couple (and couldn't afford a ferrari) i like the 4 door, so i bought it. sorry, next time i will buy a car that everyone else likes......
-
I will be getting my series 1.5 soon and will post the engine pic. Not sure if it is the series 2motor. the dealer said it was. Said it had the better turbo and updated ecu. Myne had the standard interior though (same as series 1) and the same looks as the series 1 (which i prefer) think its the best of both worlds if someone likes the looks of the series 1, get the motor from the s2.

Thats weird. They said its a pearl white? but i looked up that site that was given before and the closest to that is a "Silky snow pearl"......cool.......
