Pretty insane replica if it is, its got the flared rear gaurds and front gaurds, noting the rear gaurds which i would think would cost a fortune to replicate...... The guys at trojan said the tag says its 1 or 40 ever made.... Very original, although not sure about the gtr badges on the back, had the gtr wheels, rb26, leather bucket seats, flared arches, console gauges etc. so nice, ultimate sedan!

Spotted a r33 autech gtr 4 door at trojan, extremely nice! Insanely rare! Wish i had those gaurds

Sorry so that means my fuel gauge is outta wack i guess. I have done some quick research and i can't remember where i got the fuel tank size but seems to be 65litres for the r33 gtst. Weird, don't know if i got the balls to keep going after it says 'e' on the dial. Could get another 100- 150km's out fo the remaingng 20 litres of fuel i never seem to use.
-
to my knowledge the R33 gts-t's have a 45litre tank (correct me if I'm wrong) Back on topic.... On average I can get around 400 - 450 untill i feel i really need to fill up (very close to empty) - usually fill up with 42-44 litres. THe most I have ever been able to squeeze into my fuel tank was 46 litres with the fuel light on. NOTE: I never squeeze more fuel in after the pump was clicked off if that makes sense
-
Haha just abit paranoid ;-) I agree with the octane booster, would be nice, although when you fill up you pay like 70 bucks for the tank, + 20 bucks for the booster. Pretty freaking expensive lol. Wish I had money :-( If the stick goes blue, means ur gonna be a proud dad of hopefully some more horses....

Was pissed off cos last night i drove around for 15 mins trying to find 98 ron fuel, finally had to get it from woollies caltex (vortex98), never really wanted to fill up at woollies but I did anyway. I was surprised to find my car felt pretty much the same, if anything slightly more beefier. Just found it funny how many people wrote things like, i filled up with this and it ran shit. Really unless you have used the petrol numerous times can you say its shit. I think there should be no more posts containing: "The other day my brothers, cousins, friends, cousins cat said it didn't like woollies petrol." - sounds pretty childish and unsupported lol, not really worth putting people off a certain petrol just because you don't like it. Rather perhaps let people know where good fuel stations are, Ie if you are around Erindale, the best is Mobil, if your around Tuggers shops go to Shell..... Unless your engine is tuned to run on a specific fuel, in which case what fuel runs good for you prob doesn't mean anything to me. Hope that makes sense. EDIT: Was near empty yesterday and I was in Fyshwick. Out of 4 servos, none had 98 ron. So I thought I would fill up on the way home (southside) Went past Tuggeranong, which doesnt have 98 octane stuff, shell is out of vpower, woolies dosn't stock 98. Had to go to calwell to fill up. Is there a shortage of 98 or something? ALot of places simply don't have 98. i know when i was in gunghalin (lost) I found the first servo as was about to run dry, and it didn' thave 98. It's happened to me alot!

I just make a note to stay away from woolies and coles. I used v power and it seemed fine. Then again so did mobil... I always fill up on mobil cos my car seems to like it the most. I filled up with BP while i was in sydney the other day, really dosn't feel any different. Today I filled up at woolies with their vortex 98, and again, i didn't notice any difference, if anything I think the car feels better than it did with BP. So what Have I gained? That most 98's to me seem the same, unless u have hooked up a comp to the engine management and gave us figures that are off by .0001 or something. Very confusing when people say my car runs crap on this, this is crap cos it blows engines up, don't use this cos my mum said not to.........I say run ur car on racing fuel if ur that picky, or did your friend say his lancer ran like shit when he filled up with it?

missing myne and tridents results. What did phatass get at the end? I t went again after myself
-
Had a good time. Was my first dyno run and it turned out alright. I know there were heaps of photos/movies taken. And a photo of the results board at the end. I was very happy thinking i was going to get around 150 or so as myne is pretty much stock minus an exhaust and pod. But i managed 165. He freaked me out when he said 187, and then said ah wait sorry the wheels slipped! I was getting pretty excited ;-) A nice R33 gtr put out around 414 i think it was... there were a couple of r33's in the 200-240 region.
-
Haha hell yes! Nah i'm pretty honest so would prob tell them. U prob got the car cheaper then did you? I got myne for average price. I wouldn't have paid as much for this if i knew it had done more thatn what it said. I would have prefered to get one that isn't wound back but has higher kays but is well documented etc. I would pay more for that.

Ill grab the HPI mag thanks. I talked to a mate doing legal studies, he seems to agree with a previous post saying that I basically chose the car.... The importer gave me some options stating what the dealer advertised, I then chose that car, they imported it for me and complianced it.... In the end its in pretty good shape, a few things show wear far beyond the 76xxxkm's i got it with. But i think i'll take it as a learning experience - if i import a car again that is ;-) I was just really pissed off to think i got conned by the jap dealer. I think we should make a sticky of things to look out for when importing a car. Maybe to get the km's checked, look at certain things on the interior that show age etc..... what you think?

I'm always up for some sausage action.....
