Played gt concepts or watever it is the free 'game' on the Sony Store. Even though it only includes a couple of cars and one track. Did not like it at all, didn't feel as real as forza, doing jumps, not getting damaged, very weird handling and really not compareable to the physics behind forza...Is not even close to the league of Forza Mororsport 1 or 2. If you really like simulation get a 360. That way when u hit a wall, you won't just bounce off! And you'll also be able to upgrade the body kits ;-) Swap engines ;-) I want a ps3 cos it is an insane piece of technology, being able to run linux from stock form, upgradable hdd etc, and it looks so pretty. BUT i will be getting a 360 cos the games like HALO and FORZA and GEARS OF WAR and PROJECT GOTHAM RACING won't be coming out on ps3. which sucks.

Haha cheers mate, don't think there will be any skylines, I wish the new gtr would be there but don't think im that lucky. Ur right about the c-750, although it does have 10x optical zoom and far more manual features, not that i know how to use them though ;-) The fe220 seems to be quite a nice point and shoot camera, but most of the photos i have taken in darkish environments turn out weird.

Not sure if any mentioned that the s1 has the battery in the boot? and the s2 has the battery in the engine bay... Supposidly I have a series 1.5 but i can't tell. Looks like a s1 in and out. although the velour seats are completely diffferent from the old looking s1 seats and also the s2 seats.....

benl1981: cheers mate! Will be putting the skyline through a service this week. Turns out all the worry was over nothing. Got a 5 day data entry position which will give me money to spare! Will still look into the above mentioned as it is always nice to save abit of petrol. A mate of myne has a series 2 with larger turbo and other mods and he still manages better fuel consumption that me! Myne is sitting at 14-14.9L/100km and he seems to be getting 11-12L/100km. One time i managed a 16.4L/100km. Was proud of myself ;-) I will get the all checked out neway as i feel it is using more fuel than is needed. especially considering i'm driving as slow as a granny popping sleeping pills.......

back in school (2002) when i had my 1979 chrysler lancer, filled up on 40 litres, cost me maybe 30-35 bucks, got me close to 450k's. Those were the days...

GTST: Haha this life of crime seems interesting, does it come with super or insurance? ZENNON: You seem to be a master of the noodles........The idea makes me feel like a bum though. Worrying about spending a dollar or two lol Adrain: Cheers mate, I might have to get back to you depending on how I go. Still got one thing to do which might get me 5 days of data entry crap. Just annoying cos i had it all planned out, putting heaps of money paying off loans and stuff then wham get called into the meeting, oh yea by the way...we don't really need you any more sorry. Oh by the way, it was a freaking monday too!!! So yea completely unexpected, and of course its not like i was saving , i was simply paying off stuff, so i litterally have next to nothing. Feel like a bum lol.

Already owe the parents abit of money so don't wanna up it.... Yes i am very cool according to my nan.... its all good. Thanks guys for the help neway. I think i'll try the noodle thing. Was hoping i could put a fueleconomizerthingiemabob in but seems thats not the case ;-) When u buy some noodles, think of me guys!

Sorry i guess it did get jumbled up in the process. Just didn't wanna spill my life out, just wanted a simple yes or no..... I don't really have much money at all to last me the next three months. Driving is important to me as i need to get around town alot and get to uni etc. Alot of the driving I do is highway and abit of stop start. Next part of the story: I have an accountant in the family and we have figured out how to make the money i have last.....at this rate i have enough money to spend on petrol that will last me 2 months of driving the way it is. I got a grandma who gave me 100 bucks cos i am really cool. The way i see it, if i put that into somehow reducing the amount of petrol the car uses i may be able to drive it longerI don't care about the exact fuel consumption my car has, just wanted to know if there were some cheap thing i can do to reduce the fuel ussage over the next 2 months. I need to be on time with uni and canberra buses don't cut it. There are no trains or anything here. I have mates in the same classes but they live right next to uni. 3 months is a long time. And i may need to use the car abit more which means ill run outta money sooner. If there is nothing i can do then just say, but if there is let me know pls. Thanks for the fast replies again.
-
Completely agree. The thing is i only have to go like this for another 3 months as i have a great job ligned up to start then. of which i can afford petrol, and other goodies for the car ;-) i will starve to keep ther car ;-) dont' worry about that, but just wanna cut the fuel down abit for the next 3 months.
-
Lol wish my mummy and daddy were rich. No i got the skyline by working.....but now i have no work (got let go) so i got a new job but its crap pay and less hours. Oh and did i mention i'm a UNI student ;-) So i do have money to pay for food lol but not much left over for petrol. I could ride but its a 40 drive so would guess its close to 4 hours ride..... and busses suck. twice ive gone to catch the bus and it never came. Good old canberra buses. So yea im in a pickle. I need money to pay off uni, money to survive..... and sadly the skyline is last on the list. So yea its either imporve fuel economy or sell and buy a suzuki swift........which i really don't wanna do.. The only reason i asked is cos its due for a service soon and i wouldn't mind putting in like 200 or so bucks to give me more k's as in the long term it will pay itself off....
-
Haha yea wish i had money to buy another sub 2ltr get around car. Man money sucks. THanks guy for the fast reply's! Seems my fuel consumption is pretty avg. Hate catchin the bus :-( Do you guys know if it is possible to set boost below standard?
-
Got a money prob at the moment and can't afford the r33's fuel bill's....... pretty much stock and im getting 350 to the $65 tank (Driving casually), which is almost 5 days of driving for me asi have alot of highway driving. Is there anything i can do to increase fuel economy without being retarded. Ie I was wondering if you can say set a dual stage boost controller to boost under standard boost and the next at say slightly above standard..... Or am i retarded? I really wanna keep the skyline as i have times when ihave enough money to take the engine past 2k rpm ;-) But for a few months I shall be poor.... Any ideas. PS. I don't wanna numb the skyline, i still want to be able to drive it like its mean tto be drivin but was just wondering if for the other times i'm driving it if i can save petrol.....
-
i thought myne was pretty thirsty but looks about right. a full tank on myne lasts between 350-400km/tank But i drive a mixed of spirited driving and crusing on the highway. I very rarely get above 400km. only once and that was from canb to syd of which i nearly reached 500km. Alot of the first posts seemed to state they were getting close to 500km's on a tank from a r33. Weird... maybe the fuel has changed or something?
