  1. You've got Superman vision if you can pick that from the pic. There is in fact a difference between the two variants, but it is so tiny and negligible. Between the 0 and 1 numbers under the rpm, there is an extra line. But there is another noticeable difference as well that I have found out through comparing the two models. V Spec cars have these air diversion plates on the front lower control arms. These things guide air to the front brakes. When I had a look at my friends non V Spec car, they were missing.
  2. Good stuff, can I ask how much he charged? Might need a few pulled out of my car. thx.
  3. There's a lot of BNR34 front bars that's for sure! First one in your pic is the standard oem Nissan plastic front bar. Next one down the the Nismo Z tune front bar which is the most expensive option, although you don't need the lower front lip with that bar. Third bar is standard with aftermarket front and side ducts. It's not a Nismo bar. This is a Nismo front bar, before the Z tune bar was released.
  4. ^^ Right on Sam. Hey btw it's Eugene here. I used to have the black 350Z. I buy nearly all my microfibre products from Sam as I have found they are the best quality around compared to many other sellers. Do you still sell the towels and other bits and pieces? Need to replenish my stock as I'm getting low! rofl. I really enjoy detailing cars these days. Gives me great satisfaction on seeing the end result and especially witnessing the customers response when they see the final finish. And congrats on the new r35 as well. Hope to have one of those babies in my garage one day.
  5. ^^ Hell yeah. If there were no imports, I'd probably be driving bogan cars, hahaha.
  6. What's your budget?
  7. Auto or manual? I've got an auto one.
  8. That black R35 GT-R will be a piece of cake to work on. I just detailed a 9 year old S15 that has never been detailed before. On top of the deep scratches from people leaning on the front left guard, there were swirls galore, paint fade from being out in the sun, acid damage from bird poo, you name it, the car had it all. The paint correction process took me almost 10 hours to perform, but in the end, the client was elated with the results and costing half the price of what Eurogloss would charge. I must say, I'm no Mario but I can do a job just as good as he can.
  9. I used Mario as well before I knew anything about the finer details in a proper car detail. He came to Sydney 2-3 years ago and detailed my car over 2 days. Although he's not cheap, the quality of his work certainly helped me sell the car to the first person who came and saw it. Since then, I've learnt a lot through the forums and my own trail and errors. Damian is also another top detailer. In fact, I would try him out if I had a car to detail.
  10. I reckon the only person who knows is the owner lol. This would've been a private sale.
  11. I saw, sat and heard the sweet engine rumble when that first Z Tune was at Powerplay years ago. Although that cabin interior didnt do much for me, holy moly the engine bay is an absolute work of art. It would be nice to see that 001 Z tune in the flesh as well, but I doubt he's going to show her off much. lol
  12. It could go for 5k, 10k, 15k or even more. Who knows really with these things. Some guy might bid right up just for those plates on it.
  13. Thanks Terry, so would your car, hint hint..
  14. Are you interested in 2 x r34 GTR's? Although time is running out for you I guess since your last day is the 18th.
  15. We had a small fire on our Escort yonks ago. Although the car did get repaired, the smell of smoke you can never get rid of.
  16. No need to pay 3k again. You will need to take the R34 through the "pits" in your state.
  17. That's spot on there. As someone who works for a raws, I have asked my boss before, "why don't you bring in this or that" and his simple answer is costs. If that ridiculous 25k fee just to have the car test (and mind you, not necessarily PASS as well) for emissions was more realistic, we would certainly see more import variants on our roads today.
  18. And that's what insurance is for.
  19. They are almost identical in size, if not the same front and back. But I can tell you a distinguishable difference. The R34's rarely fade but Brembos on Evo's have a horrible tendency to lose their colour very quickly for some reason. I'm guessing the clear they use were very poor.
  20. Hell loud but not cheap. I love the sound of it though.
  21. GST has always been 10%. It's duty that has dropped to 5% from the beginning of this year.
