  1. Yeah don't ever use nrma as they are honestly, crap! The reports are so basic that my 4 year old can do a better job than them.
  2. Greg from Autosport Engineering knows a lot about GTR's and he's not that far from the Gong, although I'm not sure if he will travel to inspect a car, but you can certainly ask him. 155 Bath Rd Kirrawee NSW 2232 (02) 9521 1388
  3. Also this may not be a big issue but you can see the dash is bubbled which is a very common thing with such an old car. Besides that, the car looks great.
  4. Easy. Change the turbos before the inevitable happens.
  5. And you butcher the rings. Tein spanners are not all the same sizes.
  6. Just wanted to ask all the knowledgeable fellow Stagea owners in here. I've got a cactus VQ25DET motor lying around off a 2003 M35, done about 70,000kms. It's a complete motor with turbo, ex. manifold, injectors. The motor is seized. I f**ked it up and the car has now been replaced with a new engine. The turbo is running fine before I rooted the motor. What parts can be salvageable besides the obvious bits? What would it be worth complete as I am considering selling it rather than fixing it up. thanks,
  7. By the look on those dish I'm fairly certain they are 10.5 wide and offset will either be 12 or 22. Won't fit on a 32 unless you run camber and lip the guards. 9.5 will be easier to fit for sure.
  8. It should be 255/40R17 to keep as close to same rolling diameter to the fronts. I don't think it will rub, but worse case scenario is you might have to roll the lip. It depends on how much camber you're running and ride height.
  9. I've sold plenty of rims in that exact size to many clients with same car and they fit perfectly as long as you run some camber, about -1 to -1.5 deg which is not too aggressive.
  10. Here's the optional Rays wheels you can buy from Nissan when the 350Z were still available, staggered sizes like the Anniversary rims, BUT you can also choose to have them the same sized front and back, if you wish. It was your choice. They were a $5k addition to the price of the car, and you had to give up the standard track rims. Pretty average looking but they were forged monoblocks and extremely light.
  11. Those XD9 you mentioned will stick out slightly of the guards of an R32 gt-r, but can make them fit by running camber and/or a bit stretched tyres. They're a very nice looking rim and a much cheaper option than say, TE37 or CE28N, which look very similar to (the CE's that is)
  12. And here's one right back at ya buddy. Early model 350Z Track runs on EXACTLY the same sized rims front and back, like I mentioned before. They are 18x8+30 all round. However they ran different sized tyres. This is what they look like. It was not until 2005 when they released the Anniversary edition 350Z Track that had staggered rims. And they were 18x8+30 fronts, 18x8.5+33 rears. Subsequent models ran on the same Anniversary rims. Here's what they look like. And you are arguing with someone who not only sells rims as a business, but even owned a 350Z 2003 track model, with the very same rims as the first picture. And just another point you mentioned about the 17" rims being the same sized F & R? Well they are not.. You may have most likely researched your findings through an American site. And to be frank, I don't blame you because their 350Z versions and how they interpret Touring/Track/Anniversary cars are completely different to our Oz models. And that's a fact. So enough with arguing, let's just move on shall we?
  13. XD9's are a cast rim, not forged. And most 350Z Track edition rims are exactly the same size front and back. It's the optional Rays rims made for the Z were staggered, and later model cars.
  14. I'm one of the exception of importing a good gt-r. Maybe it was a once off bad experience but the car I got wasn't up to scratch. Looks a million dollars from the untrained eye but was not as good as I wouldve wanted it. So instead, I sold it off locally and found a much better example that was already in the country. So you have both good and bad points of importing and buying locally. Just have to weigh it up. Personally i'd try and find one already here and if nothing tickles your fancy, then seek the Chef and he'll dish you up a superlative car.
  15. Honestly, I don't think Nissan Japan would give a flying toss of the Oz market because it's one of the smallest customer base in the world. I've been to the Nissan headquarters here in Lidcombe and it's the tiniest office you can ever imagine for such a huge global company.
  16. That's no entirely correct. You can import JDM models but there's incredibly strict rules to follow, and as such, it's not worthwhile for people to import them. One of the main criteria is the car must be 100% brand new, before build date of 03/2009 (or there abouts).
  17. They look like Bilstein struts with some aftermarket springs. Very nice suspension and nice on the street.
  18. Besides the Nismo MFD Expansion kit, I didn't realise there were any other manufacturers that makes sensors to hook up with the standard MFD. Hook us up with more info brother!
  19. Do you have a pic of the other side, facing the radiator and including the end tanks?
  20. I don't think there's any difference between the two.
  21. hey Aaron, I'm interested in the tyres if you're willing to separate. cheers
  22. Ive got genuine Fujimura Auto front lip for $500 new.
