  1. That iPhone recording is quite good! And a very interesting noise it makes. Must admit I've never had that problem before. Well it's good that you've narrowed down the source. Btw Chris, was nice to meet you and your bro today too.
  2. Hey Julz, I may consider selling them as pairs. I will let you know soon. cheers,
  3. Belts are generally changed at 100k but it doesn't hurt to have them changed sooner rather than later. I had mine changed not long after i got the car because I didn't trust the odometer reading.
  4. Nah, your headlights are now looking pretty on my car. I bought these ones from Japan but didn't get here on time for the panelbeaters, so hence I bought your set.
  5. Just arrived! - TE37 in Bronze for GT-R. 19 x 10.5 +12 all round. Brand new set, December 2009 build date. $4600---SOLD--- - TE37 in Gunmetal. 17 x 9 +15 all round. Another tip top condition set with tyres (I'll get more info on the tyres). $2800 - TE37 in Bronze. 18 x 9.5 +12 2 rims have been resprayed in Japan while the other rim is having the lip repaired and will post up pics when I get it back. Lip will not be repainted. Although structurally sound with no dents, dings or cracks, this set would be most ideal for track use as not all colours are the same. But it presents top value at $2600 - TE37 in Silver. 18 x 8.5+30, 18 x 9.5+35. Most suitable for Skylines and Silvias. In absolute mint condition with no guttering or scratches. Includes semi slicks. $2800 I also have singular rims for sale. - TE37 in Pewter, 18 x 10.5+15. Mint condition with no guttering. $700 - TE37 in Bronze, 17 x 9.5+12. Good condition, slight gutter marks. $400
  6. Got these bits and pieces lying around and not sure when i'll utilise them. So i'll see if anyone's interested. - Oem plastic weather/rain shields, used $240 - ARX front bar in gold/champagne colour, excellent condition. Bought this for my car as a spare. $500 - Fujitsubo Legalis-R cat-back exhaust system, brand new and never installed. $1450 - Series 1 xenon headlights, minus bulbs but ballasts are included. excellent condition. $600 - Blitz Sonic power intake kit. $400 I'll get more pics as soon as i get a chance.
  7. Thanks a lot Terry. That was a very good replica indeed, and since I posted my diffusers up here for sale, I've had 3 pm's and 2 phone calls. The one I have for sale is a genuine Nissan diffuser constructed of 100% dry carbon fibre weave. To buy from Nissan will cost in excess of 8 grand. Powerplay Imports sells them for 5 grand used. Mine is for sale at $2500 and there is already a potential buyer.
  8. I have genuine front 2 pc plastic diffuser and the rear carbon one. Pm me if you're interested. cheers
  9. I have a pair in really good condition. Made 200kw on dyno with just a full exhaust and no other mods before they were taken off. They are off my own car.
  10. Volk TE37 17x9.5+12 with tyres for $2800. I know it's a bit more than you want to spend but these are killer rims.
  11. Well I'll stand up for all my MP friends and disagree on that one
  12. I did have fluids changed before the first track outing, but retained stock rotors running Project Mu b-Spec pads, although I shouldve changed to more bitey pads. Still i'm not impressed with how it stops. I suppose I might be a bit biased as the last car had a more serious brake setup, and I was used to that level of stopping power.
  13. If you're using a car as a daily, those two Euros will beat an R34 hands down in terms of comfort, fuel, space (although a Porsche is damn woeful in that department!). That doesn't mean you can't drive an R34 GT-R as a daily car. It can be done but I think the novelty will diminish over time, especially if it's stock power. It's also another point to note. Stock GT-R power is pretty lack lusture and nothing to rave about. But once you do some bolt ons to 330kw, the car transforms and really comes alive. I love my car the way it is at around 330awkw. The fun factor increases ten fold from when it was stock. Amazes me how quickly it revs to 8 grand and bouncing off the limiter, The only qualm I have is how ordinary the stock Brembos are and inherently lacking in stopping quickly. I need to get this addressed soon as I know i'll come unstuck one day.
  14. I have a set of 350Z track rims for 700 bucks. Pm me if interested.
  15. What part are you after exactly? front plastic diffuser, rear wing fin, etc.
  16. Np mate, I have 18x9.5+30 (I think), if you want to try that out you're most welcome.
  17. Hey LSX, I have a spare TE37 in 18x10.5+15 lying around somewhere in the garage. Come around and we can fit her on and see what the clearance is. I'm in Wahroonga. At least you can see for yourself if the TE's are a better option for you. Fyi, I had them on my Z33 a few years ago with Endless 6 pot racing fronts and 370mm rotors and they had more than enough clearance. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b158/mxf...0954_resize.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b158/mxf...0960_resize.jpg
  18. Last years meet was a blast so I'm in for this one.
  19. Go the MP II!! My second favourite colour next to MP III!!! lol
  20. I agree with IM. There was a GTHO Phase III that went through Shannons and it only fetched $331,000. Seller was expecting much more as an identical car sold for almost double that last year. There were also talks of other cars that sold for over a mil through private treaty a few years ago. I'd certainly be pissed if your collectable would only fetch a fraction of what other cars have been selling for in the past..
