  1. I did the very opposite when i got married and had a family. Shortly after our big day, i went out and bought myself a wedding pressie. My first S15. After our first born, I bought a 350Z and shortly later the first R34 GT-R. Once we have our 2nd child, here comes the R35
  2. I'll let you know when the next Z Tune will be up for auction. Wont be too long as the owners will be tired of owning these cars and are itching for an upgrade.
  3. Haha great comeback line Andy.
  4. That blue one has been advertised as a V Spec, 4.5 grade, about 65,000kms. Maybe they just missed it.
  5. What are you after for it Malcolm? I'm interested, Pm me if you like. thanks.
  6. Only V Spec II / M Specs had the millenium jade and silica breath colours. btw Chris, this car went for quite cheap at 2.7 mil yen. Did TS check this car out for you? http://ayp5.nihoncars.com/cars/35801266/0/...3Fy%3Fn%3Fl.jpg http://auctions.savagesushi.com/auction/35801266b__0x0.jpg
  7. This was an ex-Global Auto car. The company only deals with mainly heavily modified GT-R's. How long did this go through the auctions?
  8. Well as usual I was browsing on the auctions and found an interesting M35. Here are links to the car. http://ayp3.nihoncars.com/cars/35761252/0/...__sl__56yyn.jpg http://ayp3.nihoncars.com/cars/35761252/0/...sl__56yy%3F.jpg http://ayp3.nihoncars.com/cars/35761252/0/...__sl__563y3.jpg Does anyone want to play spot the difference?
  9. Hey Chris, Sry to hear that those cars didnt work out. Hopefully you will find one that suits your requirements in the near future.
  10. I've also test driven a couple of V8 Sportwagons back when they were first available. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick they took off the mark. I would say from those 2 drives, a Commo will be quicker than a stock M35. Not by a huge margin but nevertheless will beat a Nissan. On the other hand, put a full aftermarket 3" exhaust and get rid of the extra 2 cats on a Stag and the performance difference will be marginal. I was seriously considering buying a Sportswagon and could even live with the build quality (or lack of should I say), but the price tag did not justify the upgrade even though the dealer gave me quite a good trade in price at that time.
  11. Here's a 2004 model with 18" factory rims. http://ayp3.nihoncars.com/cars/35700046/0/..._tdytdynOOn.JPG
  12. They changed the rims to an earlier model because it did have different rims on when I drove it. I'll find the rims from a later Stag. The powerduct is an interesting point, I wonder if all later models are like that.
  13. You can get the turbo versions in 2004 although I believe that was the very last year for the FI on the Stags.
  14. Im really getting sick and tired from ppl calling my car a Volvo. It's almost an every day occurrence now. Although it was amusing at first, I'm now becoming really pissed off about it. So I thought about colour coding the overfenders as we too. My question is will it look good with a gold car? Probably not. That gold car above looks ok but that's probably because of the Axis front bar, and I'm not a person who would buy something to make it look like another model.
  15. I'm fairly certain that the 2004 turbo versions have not been approved to be complied simply because no one in the country has done an emissions test on them and to do one of those costs over 20 grand. Plus it doesnt guarantee it will pass as well too! (and chances are that they wont pass due to new regulations being imposed from that year onwards). Even the n/a variant was not smooth sailing through the emissions testing I was told, but at least it's now finally done and dusted.
  16. They only have 1 displayed from their website atm as the other 2 just landed recently. Just clicky on the blue car. http://northshoreprestige.com.au/used.php
  17. Just wanted to let ppl know that the 2004 and later models of the M35 350RX and ARX-4 (namely PM35 and PNM35) are now available through Northshore Prestige in Balgowlah, Sydney. They have a few of them in stock. I was fortunate to drive the test mule at the beginning of the year and was most impressed with the power delivery. Although a non-turbo, the VQ35DE engine most commonly found in 350Z and V35 Skylines provides a nice punch from the get go. The trim is revised as well with a nice aluminium look finish along the centre as well as dual zone climate air control and other nice little updates. I also noticed the headlights have been updated as well, although it's still single instead of bi-xenons which wouldve been nice. The rims have also been changed to a better looking design imo. So go down and give them a test drive if you're looking for a later model M35.
  18. Thx Master Chef, i'll give them a call today cheers
  19. Give Ben from Northshore Prestige a call as they import these. I'm sure he will be able to answer your question. 02 9948 5302.
  20. I need to transport an engine, about 200kgs, from Sydney to Adelaide and wanted to ask if anyone have any experiences with this and general pricing as well too. thanks
  21. The most common area I see from freshly imported cars into our workshop is the underbody. Mostly it's light surface rust from the salt used in snow regions which can be removed. But on some occassions I see quite substantial rust which obviously is a lot more difficult to remove.
  22. I would presume it's still the price as originally quoted, 750 bucks.
  23. It's not a Z Tune mate. Still a very nice car I might add, and priced very well.
