  1. Take a look at the thickness of the core and you'll get your answer. The first mods I ever did to the r34 was a big ass radiator and a fat oil cooler. I also got an air breather tank to remove the air bubbles in the head.
  2. If the R32 is still available can you please email me pics. [email protected]
  3. Copies are about 300 bucks and genuine items are double to triple.
  4. No longer being made by Nissan anymore but you might find them on Yahoo, or even the Nismo engines.
  5. Dont forget with that extra power comes heat, so get yourself a nice big radiator and oil cooler as minimum.
  6. Omg Terry Wins!
  7. Tell me about it! Just got rid of the Evo so im on the lookout for a nice clean R32. I've always wanted one since being a passenger in an Aus delivered R in the early 90's. It's been my dream for a while and now it will go nicely with the R34 as well.. hehe
  8. I take it's for GTR's. Hey fatz, even though I havent found the right r32 yet, I'm in so 200 bux deposit on it's way. Thanks for organising this! Eugene
  9. Ive tried a similar setup from Apexi called RS or PS Revolution. Personally I think it's junk. It was quite restrictive and wouldnt hold boost at higher rpm.
  10. Try Northshore Prestige Motors. They have very clean cars in stock. Btw what are you after?
  11. Looks damn nice too http://ayp4.nihoncars.com/cars/35177372/0/...6tnd3On6yyn.jpg
  12. Yes that's my car. They have been nothing but brilliant on the service and tune. I will definitely go back there again in the future.
  13. So shiney mate, Mark did an awesome job on the detail.
  14. If you're not aware, they can go further than 330kw actually, so why waste money on something that's not really necessary.
  15. The QLD govt have just recently closed the loophole of Elgrands being registered as a campervan so you cannot comply them in that state anymore. No doubt, other states will likely to follow as well. It's just a matter of time. And no, you cannot comply them as a people mover as they clash with the locally delivered Tarago's and other movers. Yes they are complied as a campervan (3 seater actually) but really they're a people mover. Raws workshops would simply remove the seatbelt restraints and voila, it's a campervan. Hell they dont even need to remove the actual seats itself. So if anyone is after an Elgrand, you better snap them up now as they will surely be removed from the SEVS list.
  16. If the R33 afm's are the same as R34 units, you dont need to buy any other air flow meters. My R34 was tuned with the stock units and it's made almost 330awkw. Cams are also not necessary as well to make that power. 6 or 700cc are fine, I think I would use 700s, just in case if you want to go more power later. Im using 800s atm, bit of an overkill as the duty is only on 55% but I plan to go over 400kw in the future.
  17. 3,680,000 plus your usual fob tax will be about $46,000AUD to buy. Then add 5% duty on top which equals $48,300, then add 10% gst which is then $53,130, then add about $1500 freight, then $2000 for compliance, then another $1000 for misc stuff, so what's that, about $57,630. If the car needs tyres than add that as well, plus the usual registration and transfer costs. So I would say, about $60k on road.
  18. Haha thanks for the comment Nick. Yes I wont ever sell the car. It will be passed on to my son and hopefully to his son. But before I give her away, there's a whole lot more to do from now to the end.. lol Btw, I know Chris you're after a BB colour GT-R, but just take a look at this one. I scout for cars everyday for ppl and this beauty caught my eye. 2nd one down. http://www.global-auto.ne.jp/stock/public_...php?model=BNR34
  19. Everything will work fine if you transplant an R34 GT-R engine into an R33 GT-R engine bay. The only thing you really need to do is change the crown and pinion gear on the front diff as the R34 has a 3.5 ratio while the R33 has a 4.11 ratio.
  20. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread, even though it took me a good part of 2 hours! lol From my understanding, this car would have potentially been the real deal, but for some reason or another, Nissan/Nismo decided to can the development, which is ashame. But Malcolm envisaged an idea to see what would have happened if the initial project came into fruition, so hence, we see what he has done to the car. Sure, he has used a GReddy plenum and other non-Nissan parts. So how do we all know if the factory would have done the same thing? The answer is, we would never ever know. Malcolm has made educated guesses and his imagination to develop what he believes Nissan/Nismo have dome back in those days. And another point to add. Nismo would not have sent him all those nice goodies if they didn't believe this was the real car. I have a question if Malcolm ever comes back to read this. Was there any part of the car that Nismo developed and left it intact? Has the motor ever been dynoed to see if there's some special fruit in there?
  21. That's a very good point and I will try it out next time on the freeway. Last weekend I drove down to Goulburn and did notice the moment you gas it a little, it would gear down to 4th from 5th and hit boost. While it's great to overtake quickly, it will use more fuel on boost for sure. Nevertheless, I can get about 700kms on a single tank when run entirely on the freeway.
  22. Or more happy gas lol
  23. Hi there, will you take 250 for the rear diff? cheers
  24. I would enter mine but the other car takes priority lol
