I've used a couple of set of Ohlins in the past and they were actually very, very smooth on the street, even with higher spring rates.

All the Nismo S1 and R1 engine builds come right out from the Omori Factory and a special build plate can be seen on the right strut tower. I'm so jealous Justin, I've never seen an R1 engine before but plenty of S1's. I'll pm you about meetup soon and talk about my coilovers I use.

Rick Shaw Racing are a big name with rotors. That said, I dont know what they're like with GTRs. The easiest thing you can do is, call them up and ask them about whether they did the work or not. And there's nothing wrong with buying a rebuilt car as long as the work was done right from the start. Good luck with it all mate. There's so many GTR's out there for sale that you should go and look for as many samples as you can before you make the big decision.

Trust me for a big purchase like that, find one locally.

FedEx are convenient but they are hell expensive. Best to find your own freight forwarder and save some coins imo.

Mate you will need to provide more than just a local courier to pickup from Nengun. Where do you think the courier will go after that? Seems to be about 3-400 bucks to transport engines.

25,000kms of my ownership. I'm not sure on freight as the motor weighs almost 200 kg alone. But can do some research into this,.

I forgot to also mention, the motor has been running with a GReddy oil cooler and radiator, as well as a Nismo oil sep tank.

Hey guys, My new engine will arrive in OCT/NOV so it's time to advertise the existing motor in the car. Here's some details - RB26DETT red top complete long block engine off my R34 GT-R. 2000 year model. - Done about 75,000kms genuine - Includes long block motor (head and block), stock turbos, stock manifold, injectors, fuel rail - Stock oil cap supplied, although pic shows it has a Nismo cap. I'm keeping the Nismo item. Engine runs on Royal Purple oil, usual change interval of 5,000kms. With only a cat-back exhaust and high flow cat and running on factory boost, the car pulled 200awkw at a recent IS Motorsport dyno day, which is on par with a typical healthy engine. I've never done any compression or leak down tests, but interested parties are welcome to do them. Since motor is still in the car, you can hear it run and I'll be more than happy to take you for a spin. This motor is in perfect running condition. Never had any issues with it since my ownership. Hey Matt Did you import the V Cam kit yourself or did you buy it from an HKS dealer here. The reason why I ask is if you bought it from o/s, you're going to have a tough time getting it tuned properly in this country as HKS will not supply the software to tune the kit unless you bought it through an Australian authorised dealer. Someone I know went and bought his kit o/s, got it installed through Bel Garage but could not get the software to tune the damn thing. So just be wary of that.

And if Andrew wanted to make money on the DVD's, he would've priced them a lot more than 15 bucks. Where on earth can you find newly released motoring DVD's for that price?

Absolutely fantastic effort for Andrew and the Motive Team. I enjoyed watching every second of it. Hell even my wife commented on how good it was and funny to see my ugly head in there as well.. lol
