Hey guys, I just wanted some opinions on how much a stock R34 GT-R motor is worth as I have ordered a crate engine to replace her. Here's some details. - motor still in car and runs perfectly with no problems at all. - about 74,000kms genuine - complete long block engine but does not include turbos, manifolds, loom, fuel system, pulleys or plenum. - recently dynoed at 200awkw with just a cat-back system cheers Euge

That is indeed the most common arear for rust. I've seen a lot of new imports with rust just below the brake lens, including my old GTT.

The question is, what do you want?

I took a brand new VE SS Sportswagon for a test drive and the salesman told me to give it some stick. I couldnt believe it, so I did it anyway.

Forget it, that 2nd M Spec Nur is FARKED. My yakusa just checked it out. The underbody has been painted black which means it's hiding rust. The engine bay looks dodgy with rust on strut tops, even the air box is cut out. f**k I should've bidding more on yesterday's car. What's with the damn DODGY auction ratings. It's really shitting me off.

That's right, noise can be more audible through a pod filter, bov, and running more boost. Even just by running more bost on my car with stock bov and filter can make that noise as well, although it's not that loud.

The 2nd M Spec Nur for sale today will go for a bit less due to several reasons. Although it's got a ton of Nismo options, it looks like the car has been tracked. Not that it's a bad thing but tracked cars might be less desirable. It's also got tow hooks and aftermarket 2 pc rotors which is another good indication of it's past history. I placed a bid on the M Spec Nur only to have missed out by 90,000 yen. That was a good car to get. Sold for 4,7900,000 yen

Mine must be on its way out cause every time I do a hard launch, the clutch feels like it's riding for a few minutes until it feels better again.

I dont think it will go for that much but it will sell for about 4.5 to 5 mil judging by past sales.

That was the first red GT-R I have ever seen in Sydney. Very nice and overall the car was pretty clean, so congrats.

Did you get that car from Camperdown?

I really dig these rims but I have doubts they will clear the front calipers. Look at the amount of space behind the face of the rim, there's not much clearance there for M35 calipers. Actually I just found out those rims are made for Toyota Harriers. They have tiny calipers up front so my guess could be right.
