  1. That's the thiing. It wasnt lacking any torque at all and in fact, dare I say, the VQ35DE felt it pulled harder than my car. I'm going to have another spin sometime this week or next and get another good feel of the DE engine.
  2. There could be so many possibilities, here's some. 1. Shitty old brake fluid will make the brakes feel crap, so I would change it if needed. 2. Seals on the calipers could be seized 3. Brake master cylinder seals could be rooted as well but it's not a very common problem. 4. Rotors, you could try using some emery paper to give the surface a rub down.
  3. Oh man, manual would be absolutely magic with no torque converter to deal with!
  4. Would be really good if have a few Stags up on the same dyno on the same day. That's the best basis for comparison.
  5. There's a dyno day next weekend at Auto Tech and i'm going to put my car up to see if it's boosting over 14 psi with the new front pipes.
  6. I wouldnt mind having a drive of somone's RS/RX and see if I can feel a difference. Anyone can have a go of my car as well but it's now got a different front end so it's boosting a little more than stock.
  7. On the subject of the Axis 350S above, I was lucky enough to take a 350 RX for a punt around the block recently. All I have to say is... WOW!!!!! That thing hauls ass big time. It accelerates incredibly strong right from the moment you gas it, and it revs freely all the way to redline without any feeling of hesitation or restriction. As this was a rear wheel drive only, the car also felt lighter and you could weave in and out of traffic more easily than my ARX4. Another difference I noticed was the g/b. It responds to manual gear changes a bit quicker thanmy car as well. Overall I was mighty, Mighty impressed with the VQ35DE engine. Initially I thought it would be a slug to drive but it has certainly changed my mind that now I've got a drive of one.
  8. My car was 100% stock when i dynoed the car last year. Now it has a high flow cat and aftermarket dump/front pipe. But no shit, it hit 14psi (not 15) on the dyno.
  9. Adn your car looks nice with the black rims but I can tell you they're not LMGT4's. They're a Chinese made rim called Drift Teks.
  10. Your RS Four will put torque to the front wheels at a slight sense of traction loss from the rears. And 16psi is about on the mark. I dynoed my car and it peaked at about 15.5, then dropped off.
  11. Both series cars have fake brushed aluminium trims. The first series are lighter in colour while the later ones are darker.
  12. I actually believe the R35 will be less than 100k within 1.5 years from now. Why? Because they're falling in prices in the auctions, and falling fast. The cheapest GT-R sold was under 5 mil yen only a few days ago. 2009/06 Nissan Gt-r Premium 4WD CBA 08 32 grey 3800 FAT - 4.5 AAC, pw, ps, aw, tv, abs, nav, srs sold ¥ 4,980 k The above car if it was imported here, it will cost under $120k complied and regoed. In comparison, an R34 GT-R V Spec II Nur in blue sold for 5.5 mil yen in Febuary. We are now seeing that a good low km late model R34 is selling for more than an R35. So in no time, we can see R35's going for 100k or less in this country.
  13. I'm a bit wary of SK as there have been problems with him providing the goods after ppl have paid for them. I dont know if all this has been rectified yet.
  14. Only plastic kits are the oem ones. Everything else is glass or frp or cfrp or some other carbon composite etc.
  15. I'm keen for a group buy as well.
  16. Actually that's not the right Axis. This is the correct one, and you dont need overfenders! http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~k9polish/stagea-2.htm
  17. Here's what it looks like with the chrome grill bits.
  18. Yes I was but i bought mine new for 250 bucks in the end.
  19. Omg http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d94092768
  20. It's ashame the front bar is not complete cause those missing bits costs an absolute f**king shitload to buy.
  21. That great man obviously is a moron and doesnt konw what he's on about.
  22. You cant remove the rear glass but you can open it instead of opening the hatch.
  23. YOu can buy factory mesh so that your dog cant jump onto the rear seats from the boot area. In regards to the torque split, yes I do notice on the GTR that you dont need to spin the rears to get action on the front. On the track it's more obvious around corners as well but the percentage of split was not that much. Perhaps im not driving hard enough..
  24. Dont forget, AWD is not constant drive at all fours. 90% or even more of the time, it's running on RWD only. And even when the Atessa is activated, only a small percentage of power/torque is diverted to the front wheels. The R34 GT-R has a torque split meter and i can see that the rear wheels are driven most of the time.
  25. 19 x 8.5+22 TE37 rims are the perfect fitment for a Stag.
