  1. I went to a tech day at Garrett's in Chipping Norton 2 years ago and I asked if they can rebuild any turbo. They said they can do anything so I will see if I can find more info. I'm interested to do this but unfortunately, I am jobless atm..
  2. I've had a 350Z with the VQ35DE motor in it. What can I say, it's a lovely engine. The thing that I'm most impressed with is the sheer torque you get as soon as you floor it and it's that initial feeling that had put a smile on my face. Sure we all know that it takes a bit more time to get a VQ25DET to sing, and when she sings, she does it loud and proud. But really, it's that precious second or two that can make the difference. What I'm not impressed with the DE engine is how it responds to your basic mods. Pretty much you need to fork out a small fortune to really make it into a real thoroughbred. I did so much to the 350 it wasnt funny, and in the end, I gave up and decided that a forced induction car was the way to go. With the Stag, a simple dump/front pipe change with a high flow cat has already made a big difference. I cant wait till my cat-back arrives and see how much better she goes.
  3. White Axis belongs to Dave from Buddy Club, but im not sure what his username here is.
  4. And it looks like you've tried to reset the ecu 8 times as well
  5. Trust me if you bought your car there, Ben or Christof will help you out. Ben knows his menus in those cars. He helped me out to reset something before.
  6. Was a cracker of a meet! So many cars turned up it was a pleasure to be there. And nice to finally put names to faces. Sry we had to piss off early.
  7. Based on a supposedly 80L that the M35's have, that means it can only do about 380kms on a tank. Unless you're flooring it everywhere, that really cant be right. My one can do at least 500kms on a tank in the city and over 700kms on freeway. What does your computer say?
  8. And where were you this arvo? The meet was absolutely awesome. So many Stags in one spot. The warehouse was perfect for such a meet.
  9. I'll take a med thanks nick!
  10. Yo Chris thanks for the offer. Can u give me more info on it. The aftermarket kits I've seen around I'm not too impressed with, but if yours is good and works better, I will take you up on it. I've got a lot of time off work so can come around to you down south( I think that's where you were last time here in syd)
  11. Hey Iain yes I know you cant install it, that's why I mentioned that i'm going to look for another car in Japan and sell my one.
  12. After doing s few stints on country highways, I decided that cruise is a good thing to have, especially when my good old 350 had cruise and it was the best device to use compared to other cars i've tried. So I take it that the Stag cruise should be cool to use with that added radar at the front to sense cars ahead. Yes I know it doesnt look too good but shit is it useful to have sometimes. Andy, when is your mate getting his Stag? I wouldnt mind checking out his car and all the options as I'm going to buy another one from Japan asap.
  13. Thanks guys for your help! That's exactly what I wanted to see Jetwreck cheers
  14. Just seeing who here has the factory criuse in their car because I wanted to know what the radar looks like on the front grille. thanks Eugene
  15. That's exactly my thought as well. And they are super practical! I love it when it pisses down and you can still wind the windows down, but not too much as water does get in!
  16. Sweet! I'd like to pickup a grey polo and cap if they're available, thanks Nick!
  17. Nice, I love the old skool 31's.
  18. Mine doesnt look anything like that at all. In fact, I would be a bit disappointed if that was on my car. The welds looks like it's being done by an epileptic. I seriously would get them to redo it whole thing. My system goes from a 3" dump, to a 3" front and then a HF cat, all welded together. An aftermarket one doesnt need 2 cats. 1 is fine to do the job.
  19. Yes you dont need a sep front pipe. The dump/front is just a single pipe, and then the high flow cat is welded onto the end to the dump/front and flanged on the other end. Fitment wise i cant find any issues. After being on the car for about 4-5,000kms, I have checked underneath and it still hangs tightly like the day it was installed. Also, not a single scratch on the cat which is the lowest point that i can see, and considering my car is quite low with the Bilsteins, I'm quite surprised and impressed that it hasnt hit any part of the exhaust. Mind you the stock cat-back section has taken a beating though. I will try and jack the car up one day and take some pics for you.
  20. I'd love to bring the 34 but I would get shot! lol
  21. I cant believe Tony is selling that nice Axis of his. I was actually considering selling my one and gettting his, but these days you can import an Axis for much cheaper than his asking price.
  22. I did dyno the car with oem dump/front/cats and got 137kw at all fours, but i havent dynoed it with the new Livo parts yet. I want to wait till I get the Fuji cat back before I redyno it again
  23. I do hope it will bolt up to any Jap cat backs as I've got a Fuji Legalis-R coming. I dont see it should be any problems, but guess I have to wait and see lol.
  24. I actually quite like this kit, just minus that wing!
