  1. Imo, any colour of an R34 GT-R looks hot. Even the most boring colour of silver looks incredibly stunning with a nice set of rims and a bit lowered. White is also boring as batshit but that Mines replica car looks so damn sexy. Red is a love / hate colour i reckon as well, but when I saw a GT-R in that colour, it made me drool because it's so damn rare to find one. And if you match a red R34 with TE37 Time Attack rims (black with red lip), I gotta say it's the best colour combination in the world. Purple is a colour I would never ever EVER pick for a car. Furthermore, my thoughts of a cameleon coloured car would make me vomit when i see them on the road. But why do I own a Midnight Purple III coloured car? Because it looks incredibly unique on a GT-R, especially when less than 200 were made from factory (thanks for the trivia Dave, my fellow MPIII owner ) Finally, black is such a difficult colour to keep clean, even when it's slightly dirty, you can see it a mile away. But when it's kept in an impeccable condition like Bakes car, coupled with some nice dished gold GT-C's, it's a sure show winner. Bakes got my vote as well. Good work mate. Another worthy mention was the black GT-R with Z tune bonnet and gold LMGT4's. Black matched with bronze is a sure crowd winner as well.
  2. I saw you guys with the blanket and thought, "damn I wish i was wrapped around that!" lol
  3. Congrats on winning the award Kat! I was the one who handed out the prizes.
  4. We have acquired 50 pens to use for the voting sheets so no need to bring them. We also purchased Coke, Coke Zero, lemon squash and bottled water as well just in case ppl forgot or run out of drinks. Also have small packets of chips as well, kiddie sized. $1.50 for the drinks each. Fiddy Cents each for packet of chips. SO BRING LOOSE CHANGE! (and dont expect change for 100 dollar bills!!)

  11. Powerplay just called me to confirm there's 2 clients with R34 GTR's coming. And chances are there's more. Unfavourable weather will be an issue this weekend for many reasons. Magazine shoot, swordsmen performance, muddy parking spots, muddy reserve for lunch, etc. It will be postponed for the following weekend if we decide this Sunday is not fit for the event. It will not be cancelled.
  12. Hi Kat, The answer is yes, there's public bbq facilites on the reserve.
  13. What colour is it if you dont mind disclosing?
  14. Please also note, if the weather is not favourable in the morning, we will postpone the event. If it's overcast but not raining, she's still on!
  15. No problems. For all those who have not downloaded the program for the day, please see attached. It would also be good to bring a copy along as well. Program_Schedule_for_R34_Annivesary_Cruise.pdf
  16. Hey Bobby, Due to our tight schedule, we will not be organising car parking arrangements for the 3rd group. Also because we're parked right next to a 2 lane public road where other drivers will be using, it's going to be difficult to shuffle cars around on the street.
  17. Here's the pdf of the cover story. A huge congrats to Terry and his hard work and dedication on this event and to secure a cover story on Carsguide. Well Done!!! dtm17apr2009st104.pdf
  18. My dad had an SLR5000 when we were kids. We spent many hours tinkering with her, they were memorable times. I dont recall them having any major issues, but then again, old classics are easy to work with. It's ashame he sold it for a Volvo wagon as that car would make him a very rich man these days.
  19. Hey Guys, For all those attending, please dl the program and print it out for reference on the big day! Any questions just ask any one of us cheers Eugene Program_Schedule_for_R34_Annivesary_Cruise.pdf
  20. Please see attached. Any questions just post them up here. Print and bring it along with you if you wish. cheers Eugene Program_Schedule_for_R34_Annivesary_Cruise.pdf
  21. Then when you wake up in the morning, you're faced with her saggy tits and a whale of an arse.
  22. Ohhhh, now Terry's rims gives me wood.
  23. All their prices are way over the top. I'm surprised how they can keep in business in these turbulent times. I saw that car as well. Absolutely beautiful on the outside, absolutely rotten on the inside.
