  1. Sorry, forgot to mention, they will fit most Nissans including all Stags, Silvias, Skylines and more.
  2. Hey guys, I have 3 of these left. Normally $95, going for $60 plus postage (usually 13 bucks packed in Express Post satchel). Just pm me if interested. thanks,
  3. Nah my car's not black. I've done black cars with PG before and it didn't finish nicely. In fact, I'm not a big fan of the product at all. Was 4 years ago when i did it on my car and if I still have an Edge green pad, I would try it again (on wife's car, not mine again lol). End of the day maybe I'm wrong and my memory eludes me in old age. After all you're the pro.
  4. Seriously, for that price of around $330 delivered, I would consider buying one locally for several reasons, the most important being warranty. If you're on a budget: Concours 900 kit http://www.waxit.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=586&category_id=34&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 If you have a bit more to spend: Bosch Gex 150T If you have a lot more to spend: Flex 3401 or Festool Rotex
  5. I did it on a gtr with green edge pad and flex 3401.
  6. Most glass polish are not very effective because they're missing a key ingredient. Cerium oxide. They're more like a glass cleaner
  7. Really depends on how deep the scratch is. Being glass it's much much harder to polish than paint. If it's really bad and noticeable, the best bet is to replace the whole glass.
  8. I tried one of those $40 polishers from supercheap at my mates house one day and they have absolutely zero abilities to correct paint. And I agree with Ant. If you don't have the funds to buy a decent machine, try and get a group of ppl to chip in and just share the usage.
  9. Here's the readout. In the same position on my car, the reading was 140 microns.
  10. Was an absolute pleasure to detail Terry's ultra rare beast. The more time I spent, the more I fell in love with her.. I'm a massive fan of any car that wears a GT-R badge but to be graced with a vehicle of this calibre was incredible to say the least. This N1 is amazing in so many aspects. All paint and panels are perfectly original after a thorough paint thickness test. We all know the general thickness of Japanese cars are quite thin (around 100-170 microns) but did you know the N1 had super duper thin paint? Does anyone like to take a guess?
  11. All Hi-Powers are ss. The ones you're referring to is Super Draggers which are mild steel.
  12. It's all about technique. A competent detailer can use a heavy cutting compound such as Menz Power Gloss and finish with a nice gloss without haze or swirls. Takes some time and patience to work that compound but you can finish like a polish to get a swirl free result.

  14. Go and drive both. That's the best way to determine what you're after. For me a Stag wins hands down in so many departments.
  15. There's a mob in Waterloo/Alexandria that services and repairs cvt trannies. I've been there to drop off a rooted unit. Can't remember the cost as my work paid for the repairs but it was done under warranty claim.
  16. Oh you are cruel mate.
  17. Is that Wei's old gtr?
  18. Thanks for the info guys, and Pm coming Iain, cheers.
  19. Hi thanks for the reply. Wheres a good place to buy a set of bulbs these days?
  20. Are you sure they're plastic. All Nismo front bars I've seen are frp material.
  21. Hey everyone, The left xenons finally failed a few nights ago. It started to flicker just slightly few weeks ago but got gradually worse over time and now it doesn't ignite. My initial thoughts was the ballast but I might be wrong. I haven't tried swapping out the globes yet, just wanted to ask if anyone has had this problem before. I have contacted Ben from NSP but he's never heard of failing lights before. Anyway suggestions? thanks,
  22. I'll come along if I can get the day off. Btw, nice rims Nick.
  23. For 50k I'd expect to find a really decent car but you'd have a harder time with an ugly purple colored one
  24. Other mode of transport to work, which is not far from home so it's a nice easy ride there and back
