That same car, Jimmy offered it to me for $49000 and that was before I started haggling. So I hope Specrzx got it for 49k at the most. I had a good look at the cars, and 3 others he had in stock. They were all pretty clean, except the V Spec II Nur had a full respray. The panels and doors lined up good, the interiors of all the GTR's were very clean. But I didnt get a chance to check the undercarriage which is very important. Mate of mine bought a blue non V Spec for 50k not long ago and it was a rust bucket. He then took the car back and complained and they exchanged it for a white one. He still had problems with the 2nd car as it didnt track properly. Did a few wheel alignments and still problem persisted. Took it to Allie at Powerplay and he spotted the right side had a heap more castor than the left but still had factory rods. So therefore that car had a hit on the right and wasnt fixed properly. I dont want to scare anyone here, but I thought this should be made public. Caveat Emptor

Yes I agree the stop/start traffic definitely kills the economy Oh well, nevertheless it's a fantastic car to own.

Another note. Spoke to Tony from North Shore Prestige where I got the car from. He suggested a few things to increase economy. - change plugs - clean injectors (if they do need cleaning but unlikely he said) - clean the afm - get an ebc so you can wind down the boost to say 5 pounds when you dont need the power. - dont drive with a heavy foot, which im not anyway.

I've done 2 full tanks in city driving (90% of the time just feathering the gas pedal). Both occasions have clocked 500kms which is about 6.25 kms per litre of fuel, or 16L/100kms. For a later model engine, i think that's pretty pathetic. One of the reasons why I sold my R34 was to get something that gives you good mileage. It's certainly disappointed me so far..

Just a question about the sway bars. Does the sway bar links needs to be upgraded in the future as the new bars would apply more load to the bushes. I had the same issues with my other car. After putting aftermarket bars on, the stock bushes in the sway bar links wore down after a few months.

P Zero Corsas have to be one of the worst tyres i've ever tried. Get some R comps on and you will feel the difference.. lol
