    I know CAS are top tuners, but I also know Unigroup Engineering at Girraween are fantastic as well. Many guys from Silvia club uses UE, including myself and I would ge back there again to get my cars tuned.

    You can buy them from ProConcept in Ryde for $450 including adaptor. And they have them in stock, no more to pay.

    DJ984, Yeah I can paint over it and I'm sure it'll attract much less attention. But I have now found someone to pass any defects I might get in the future, so I think I'll just leave it for the time being.

    I was mistaken on the front tyres. They are 225x40x18 while the back are 265x35x18. Not sure whether it'll fit on a gtst but they will fit on a GTR. If you can organise shipping, I can send them no probs.

    I've lied to cops before and got busted big time, so wasnt too keen to lie again. Anyway, got it cleared fine without hassles (friend of a friend deal), but it's still illegal for street use.

    No, they asked if the bonnet was ADR complied. I said I didnt know so that's why they gave me the notice

    Rims are in almost brand new condition. No gutter marks or anything. Fronts are 18x8 on 235 rubber while rears are 18x9 on 265 rubber. Falken Zeix all round and done 3500kms. Purchased about 6 months ago for $2600. $2000 ono.

    I'm from Hornsby. Stupid thing was I got rounded up by 2 patrol cars in a god damn servo station in Waitara. I wasnt even driving. One officer was ok to me but the others were absolute ciunts.

    Well just after having the cf bonnet on for a few weeks, I got defected. No fines, just to have it cleared.

    For that price I'd say the lights are normal units. If you're willing to separate, I'm looking for a bonnet.

    Johnny, I'm talking about a T28 non BB off an S14a, not the S15BB turbos. I've been in a few S14's and they spool a lot later than the BB turbos. But you're right about T28BB spooling a little quicker than an RS.

    Yes, carbon bonnets are in fact, illegal and defectable. The only legal carbon bonnet that has been properly impact tested is on a Falcon.

    If the dealer has provided the warranty, then they are liable to honour it. I'd consult dept of consumer trading about where you stand. Good luck.

    GT-RS are not huge and are certainly not bigger than 2540's. GT-RS runs exactly the same turbine (or compressor, I cant remember) as a 2540, but is more responsive. I've been in an S14a with a GT-RS and my God does it spool up much quicker than a T28. And no other mods were put in except for the turbo.

    I havent driven my car in the rain yet since the carbon bonnet went on. But I dont think it'll be too much drama as it located right above the radiator shroud. (touch wood)
