  1. Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm in Sydney and hence am looking for a buyer here.
  2. I have these rims with tyres for sale. They are a 5 spoke and chromed (not the cheapie chrome finish). They are absolutely as new condition with no scratches, buckles, dents or warps. Tyres have 90% tread left, running 235's at the front and 275's at the back. They will fit GTS's, GTR's, 200SX's etc. They cost $4500 new. I bought the car with these wheels on and to be honest, are not my style so am looking for all reasonable offers above $2500. I've been quoted the tyres are $450 for the fronts and $550 for the backs alone. here's the link: http://www.pbase.com/mxfly/my_s15
  3. you can repair almost anything on mags, they just machine it out
  4. I'm in Sydney and would like to have a look if possible. Pls call me on 0421 141 538. Thanks

  6. Can you pls provide the size?
  7. Zahos, I had a similar incident. I was parked in Erskineville in Sydney. A car came out of a side street without looking, T-boned a car, that car spun over the median strip and sideswiped three parked cars, which one of them was mine. Two cops were there who saw everything, made the report and blamed it on the initial driver who came out of the sidestreet, but the persons ID came out false and disappeared without being seen again. I then tried to make a claim from the person who hit me (she was not at fault initially and was insured with NRMA). They said yes, everything was fine so I took the car to the repairers and was just about to commence the work when NRMA told me that they declined my claim on the basis that she was not the one at fault, even though she hit me. Anyway, my car never got fixed in the end, but gotten over that now. At least no one was hurt...
  8. I have called Famous for a quote. Robin was very helpful indeed. Got a price of $1800 for insuring 2002 200SX for $38k. Over 30 y.o, 1 speeding fine <15kms, low risk postcode, no at-fault accidents. I thought that was a good price until I rang up Budget Direct Insurance Agency. They quoted me just over $1300! A good saving. But my question is, has anyone dealt with this company b4?
  9. I think the guy you're talking about in Qld is Mines? Nice guy to speak to.
  10. I've seen the white GTT in the flesh at RCM. Very nice indeed and well priced. Pity it's a tiptronic though, very boring to drive. But if that's what you're after, it's a bargain. There's also a totally stock purple R33 GTR in the shop for about $38-$40k. I drove that one and she screams. Interior is excellent, paintwork is very good but may need touchup if fussy. Needs new tyres and alignment, but otherwise, there's nothing that needs to be done.
  11. I'd say it's the immobiliser for sure. I had a problem with my good ol EXA. Was waiting at a set of lights and she just died. Nothing. NRMA came and found it was the immobiliser. Check your connections. See how you go
  12. xterc, are they heavy duty or standard springs? cheers
  13. HI Ken, I've emailed you and pm as well. Have you got it yet? rgds Eugene
  14. I'm interested in the car. I've pm'ed you already.
  15. Silver-Arrowz, do you still have that smile on your face?
  16. It's interesting to know from the fullboost article that the gtr achieved 240rwkw without using boost controller or power fc. I would have thought running at 17.5 psi a bit dangerous without a controller.
  17. Thanks mr180, I'll check out the link
  18. Hi All, Just about to purchase an R32 GTR. It's basically stock except for a 3" cat back exhaust (dont know what brand), aftermarket air filters and a 3" Trust intercooler. I'm looking to spend about 4-5k aus$ to hopefully get her up to about 240-260rwkw. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have to find a reputable workshop to undertake all the work. I've called around a few places but would like your ideas and experiences with workshops as well. I cant wait until the delivery day! Looking at mid next week. Cheers
  19. tan18d, Just emailed you mate, looking to hear from you soon. Eugene
  20. Just drove an R34 tiptronic last week, but didnt like it at all. The response time in changing gears under hard acceleration was disappointing. I dont know whether this is normal or not but no bull, it took a good 1-2 seconds for the gear to change. When you change down gears, it responded very quickly. Anyone have any ideas?
  21. Thanks for the info Scott. Awaiting for his reply. I'll let you know (and others) if she's still available. Eugene
  22. Hi Scott, $23k is definitely a great price for a '93 if she's in decent condition. Pls let me know the details. I'm definitely interested. Cheers Eugene
