i was in the same situation as u in the end i chose the 34gtt it all deppends if u have the money to fix it when it brakes down then go for it, me on the other hand realy couldnt be bothered paying 3 times the amount for a gtr part. the 34 is a grat and reliable car i have had mine for over 2 years now and havent had a problem with it and i am very happy with it. that said however the gtr will always be a gtr and no other nissan can compare to it, take both for a drive and see how u go good luck with ur choice

the jap spec s15 has 186 at fly.

my friend just go drive an s15 then 34 and u wil see that the 34 is a lot better ive driven both i own a 34, most of my mates have s15 and 1 of them blew his engion the other his turbo meenwhile ive been running 14 psi in my 34 on the factory turbo for about 1.5 years now and the only thing that went on it was the clutch no other probs. dont ask on a skyline forum weather to get an s15 or 34 lot of biased oppinions go drive both cars and make up ur own mind. if ur looking for power go the 34 i making 245.2 atw with 14 psi, cat back, pod filter and boost controler these r the only mods that i have.

STI hands down she can buy an 03 sti for about the same as new wrx simply put the sti shits all over the wrx

i've driven a evo7,9 appart from the handling which i incredible, the drive is shit house the most unconfertable car's i have ever driven i've also had the pleasure of been driven in a V35 350gt and the ride and feel of the car on the road is awsom the interior is briliant. if ur considering an evo why not an 03 05 sti my mate has one and it shits all over the evo's.

this just shows that u have no f**king clue what so ever the impruved power and aerodynamics of the 34 make it far supirior then a 33 especialy the neo factor vvti u should go drive a 34 then sit in a 33 and see the difference

i drove my mates s14 series 2 turbo stock nothing done to it and to put it simply it was the slowest sports car that i had ever driven, my golf mk4 gti is faster but stock they are both slow the s14 and the r32

isnt a v-spec supose to have a bit more power over the standard gtr as vell as the suspension stuff

the 34 is a faster car and the interior is better then the s-15 i ve drive both cars and i own an r34 and the s-15 unles modded canot compare to the 34 in the end its realy what kind of a look u like the boxy 34 look or the sleek s-15 look, as for handeling they similar there. Yes it does apply to u u got ur licence back a year ago u would need to wait 2 more years before it doesnt apply to u

For one thing its a lot more powerfull it has around 260-300kw it has compleatly diff internals then other 34. It also uses diff turbos also the suspension is diff too that is why there is a masive price tag on it comparing to a ordinary $60000 GTR as its more faster and a looooooooootttt more better. i hope that answers ur question.

Just noticed recently that when i open full throttle my stock boost guage is reading lower than usual. Before it hit just beneath the 1 on the scale but now its hardly going over the line before the top one (which is like 3/4). My mods are a catback and a pod which is around 6 months old. I know the guages are inaccurate but im puzzled as to why its not reaching the 1 on the scale, but the car still seems to be going good. ive checked all presuusre lines, they all seem fine and the car runs fine. Not blowing any kind of smoke just the occasional backfire. Could this be the error in the guage or am i loosing boost. Plz any help asap would be greatly appreciated cheers

1996 M3 are not fast and they are especialy not faster then R34 GTT 2003 and on wards thats a diff story, i ve heard a lot of stories about stock 03 sti and R34 wit only Exausts beeating 03 M3. they r an awsom car but a bit slightly overated.

My one has done 70000Kms now and i havent needed to change the coilpacks so it all deppends. but its great with little mode u can fair bit of power increase

R34 GT-T: 150Kwatw stock with 3in catback and pod filter 171.5Kwatw for manuel auto about 168Kwatw if u were going to buy any of those i would suggest the r34 i own one and have also driven an s15 spec r and happy to say that it doesnt come close to the r34 but it all depends what u r after but power wise and handling the 34 is the one for u.

its normal for all skylines to do this that have an exhaust as mentioned above it more noticable with an exhaust when u have bluish smoke coming out of ur exhaust then ur turbo is on its way

Same here on cold nights my is going nearly over the 1 mark nd all i have is catback and pod so i guess it inaccurate

ye that sounds normal from a skyline my car only does it when i cant be bothered to wait for it to warm up, its a back-fire quit normal with skylines

I dont think that having oil go into ur turbo is a good thing at all u should get that checked out also 33 pick up boost after 3000 rpm thats the way my mates one is anyway i hope that this was some what of help

A mate of mine works for garden state towing here in vic and at his work pace they have made a chart of all the ride off's that they pick up and sad to say but 96% of them r p platers and most of them r all young heros who just got their licence and r driving powerful cars.
