  1. yes these can be used with an rb25det head, you will need valve springs... and have been told you can use these in rb26 coz base circle is the same??

For sale is a set of tomei cams reground from tighe cams to suit rb25det with hydraulic lifters.. cam size is 272deg x 10.25mm lift.. base circle is 29.5mm awesome performance and make the car sound tough ! lumpy Have made 470rwkw on 30psi at autosalon with these cams on a 3ltr bottem end and not porting to the head.... Your mechanic-head guy just need to modify the head alittle to fit.. can also be used on rb26 heads ive been told.. they are in exc cond.. located in adelaide but will ship anywere at buyers expense.. cost was $1200 for cams plus $600 for regrind.. open to offers cheers alex sms on 0402469259 or PM

For sale is a set of splitfire coils in exc cond for rb25det with ignitor on top of rocket cover. selling due to needing even more spark.. have handled 480rwkw 30psi boost plugs gapped down.. $500 o.n.o Also rb25det fuel rail modified custom with sard 850cc injectors, sprayed candy apple, chrome injector caps, -8 braided fittings welded on ,twin feed one return.. setup cost $1900 sell $1200 o.n.o pics up soon cheers alex
  9. hey all, im just trying to find out the best way to do this.. How many people have done the tomei kit ? and what problems / solutions did you come up with ? also who has used jhh engineering and had him modify the standard lifters.. have heard lots of different things. Also dont want to change to rb26 head cos i have spent thousands on head and manifolds to change.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. cheers alex
  10. lifters are hydraulic got my spec sheet on cams today, not to sure on what it all means. someone here might ?? had to go ova in pen to see numbers
  11. whilst im getting specs on cams we thought we'd throw in sum standard rb25det ones to see i that would make a difference.. tried to start it tonite and engine had nothing, sounded like no compression.. motor would spin but not normal sounding at all ????? mayb cams not opening valves ??

  15. will try get pics up... hey carl, how u been mate? been alrite jus busy with work and over this car... cant remember exactly what rpm will get the dyno print out, but it jus seems to go almost straight up to 245rwkw then flatten across, prob around 4500rpm not to sure tho.. also trying to figure out the problem on th lower boost, but might try 20psi and see what happens
  16. yes i know darren, good mate... he has the same trans but a little different stall converter i think he made the 350rwkw on 16psi no didnt by the head frm luke... have seen everything that has been done to this head except cam machining..
  17. yea i want to drag but no track in adelaide.. stall converter- trans.... - have a mate of mine with same trans and almost same stall conv, his car makes 350rwkw on 16psi with tad smaller turbo and single cam head ??? my exhaust is 3 1/2 inch dump to half car then into 3 inch 1 straight thru muffler,, 48mm turbosmart progate, 2inch screamer cheers alex
