  1. Fell asleep trying to edit it too many times Azurra has the raw footage
  2. Sorry about the delay on the video folks... Being self employed, when the work is on, you have to work. Video should be done soon. Cheers
  3. LOL Dave, maybe I can splice some of the exhaust leak from the pan footage
  4. Haha what if the video makes the novices look as good as the old hands? I've learned to not waste all my video until later in the day when everyone is pushing the boundaries a bit You usually find that the old hands are spinning a lot more in that last hour hehe I'll see how it goes, still a bit off for the video... but getting there
  5. Sorry, that one came as sepia off the camera, don't have a colour copy... its a bad habit of mine Pretty sure that one was a corner that you nailed
  6. Thanks With the tyre tracks you can really get a sense for the angle that car got into the corner... Not really happy with these cause my camera was stuffing up the white balance but here they are anyways. Panoramas...
  7. Technically I shouldn't have been there, i've seen cars (a WRX and a Liberty) back into that corner before, but its all good - we were miles away from the action. Jason (Azzura) was beside me and didn't even flinch heheh. Bit of a mud splat, but thats all part of the fun of the day Glad to hear it was only minor damage. I kinda do agree with having the tyres there, as at previous skidpan sessions people just get too out of control (gathered up too much speed) and end up having some big offs. Having the tyres there is a bit of incentive to keep everything in check and stay in the limits. if anything, maybe moved out off the concrete to the edge of the grass or something. I have also seen guys hang the back tyres off onto the dirt across the whole back straight to stay sideways, looks great on video but i'm sure the center management would rather that people didn't I think my favourite pic of the day would have to be this one... Anyway, better get back to editing Cheers
  8. heheh Its all good Chuck Norris would have stood his ground too Jason didn't seem to be too worried about the tyre... I guess its just a bit different when you are looking through a viewfinder and your brain makes you think you're right on top of the action Hope you didn't score too much damage mate
  9. LOL ! Bastards Yeah about a metre or so
  10. Konrad, was it you that flicked that tyre up at me? heheh Karen, I have those images in 2048x1536 px size if anyone would like an original of the ones shown in that gallery. Just PM me with the link to the photo shown and I will see what I can do for you. Thanks for the comments, they are much appreciated. Video should be finished tonight at some stage. Cheers Nick
  11. Heya, this is Nick (aka Azzura's Passenger) who was out on the track all day filming & taking photos Please excuse the crap quality because I don't have a brilliant digital camera SHould be getting a Digital SLR soon I hope. You can find the pics HERE (click me) (disclaimer, please ignore the ricemobile in the first few images, the driver did seem to be ashamed of what he was driving when he noticed I was taking photos) I am also in the middle of editing up a video of the day from the footage I got. That should be ready by tonight / tomorrow with any luck. In the meantime, feel free to checkout some of my previous work here: http://www.the sphincter of the universegoat.com Feedback Appreciated Cheers
