  1. You've been looking for one for a while right? There's been plenty going through the for sale section for under $1300 easy.
  2. http://www.germanautoforums.com/ http://www.porschaforum.com/ http://aussieexotics.com/ You need to google harder
  3. Yeah I've been running K&N filters for more than 2years now without drama's. If you're worried just spurt some electrical contact cleaner on your afm hot wire. But otherwise there's no problem with using them, and there's enough people on here to tell you the same.
  4. Yes, good tyres will do you wonders coupled along with a good suspension setup. If your doing track days I hear Toyo R1R's will make your car boogie to the beat. I've got Bridgestone RE-01R's and they've been awesome to me.
  5. I reckon you could get a 255 in there under your guards. The sidewall will sit almost square with the rims and will be ever so slightly stretched. But I don't think you'd be able to lower much or at all if you do.
  6. I must say, I gave these RE-01R's a test on the twisties today because I haven't really done so beforehand. Maaaaaaan they stick like glue to the road. Since the rear RE-01R's are on the indicators now I'll have RE001's on the back when they get fitted and RE-01R's on the front. I'm hoping they'll grip nicely for a street tyre like others have experienced. Overall I'm impressed with the tyres I've got now. Thanks for the replies, looks like they should turn out to be a nice tyre, but like I said before, I'm still a bit spewin that they won't be as good as what I've got now.... At the same time though I'm sure they'll be quite adequate for what I use the car for.
  7. What size are your rims? I was quoted $330 for T1R's and RE001's in 255/40/R17's for the back set. I got 9's on the back. Good to hear anyway that they're an awesome tyre. I've used T1R's in the past and was impressed.
  8. Are you absolutely positively sure they're 7.5" wide on the back?
  9. I've already ordered the RE001's, bit late to back out now. I hope you're not confusing the RE-01R's with the RE001's. I currently have RE-01R's on the car and from my understanding have superior grip to the RE001's. So i'm taking a step back so to speak. I should have priced the RE-01R's again but i didn't, but I'd expect them to cost more again. Which I'm spewing about cos i didn't realise this till later today that i'm actually downgrading from what I've got. So lets say for instance the tyres in direct competition to each other should be the R1R's vs RE-01R, and the T1R vs RE001.....yes?
  10. Uhh....yeah dude, I'm talkinn about T1R's not R1R's. Thanks for the input anyway Yeah, that's what I'm trying to get at. Not many seem to have tried the RE001's on here, but those who have say they are good. Just like the people who have used the T1R's say they are good, but there seems to be more who have used the T1R's and not the RE001's Would you get them on the back when they're due? Good to hear you're happy with them on the front anyway. I've ordered the RE001's today. So probably next week i'll get them on or so. I'm expecting to be impressed with all the RE001 hype and advertising money they've spent for these tyres. So the theoretically should be just as good or better than T1R's. If not, I'll go back to Toyo's. Any more comments is still appreciated, cheers for the reply's people
  11. I'd like to compare them back to back, but I can't afford to do that. I've priced the T1R's and RE001's and both are $330 for 255/40/R17. I had T1R's on the stock rims in 205/55/R16 so I won't really be able to do a proper comparison if I get the RE001's on my new rims. I currently have RE01's but are on their last few 100kms of life left till they're illegal, and they seem to stick pretty good. SLEEPR85 how's your wet weather grip? Try T1R's out next time and see how you like them ...I dare ya They are a great tyre. I'm just keen to try something different to what I've used but not sacrifice grip from what I know is good.
  12. Hiya, I'm due for new rears, now I've used T1R's on my old stock rims and can vouch that the grip was awesome for both wet and dry. I'm considering using RE001's on my new but I am unsure if I'd be taking a step back. Curious to see If anyone has had the chance to use both of these tyres yet or just the Adrenalins. The tyre thread had some but not many users of the adrenalins. Those who did said they were good, but there were more people who used the T1R's and said they were great. I know wet weather grip for T1R's is great, Is it also very good for the RE001's?
  13. Has anyone cracked 250thou or 300thou yet?
  14. Yes that's correct. Just as it says in the manual So the "NO" needs a pressure signal from intercooler piping or compressor housing or somewhere there, "COM" goes to the actuator. And the pressure sensor for the unit, just T it out of one of the hoses from the plenum. As you said, fuel pressure reg vac line, it's the most easily acessed.
  15. Have you got the user manual?
  16. Haha ok, well gazza750 is still in the lead then
  17. In the lead; Heck man, that's an insane amount of kms regardless if the clocks stopped. Still the original motor? is it getting tired or still feels good..? Most seem to be between the 50k to 150k.
  18. Nice people. Keep them coming. So far we have in the lead for their respective models: Still its interesting to see the trends on the odo's
  19. Ok people, I'm not talking about how many kms the car has done or if the K's have been wound back. This is not a thread about how genuine the km's on the odometer are or how many k's the motor has done. I want know who's got the most km's registered on their odometer, wound back or not. This thread is intended for R32's, R33's and R34's. Set the highest for your model And be specific down to the thousand.... Please list the Year, Model and Km's. I'll start: 1993 R33 GTS-T 136000km
  20. Yeah maybe you just forgot to tighten a hose clamp and its half blown off. If its a bush bearing highflow it will be laggier again over a turbo thats BB of the same specs or a standard turbo. It won't deliver the boost as nice as a BB.
  21. Absolutely positively sure the IW isn't stuck open? It's not something really stupid and you left a rag in the exhaust or compressor housing when you bolted it up? Can you manually actuate the wastegate?
  22. Cheers dude can't wait to get them on
