  1. You can.....if you want. How long they will last is another matter. The reason it is not recommended is because unlike copper plugs, iridiums are just iridium coated, not solid. So when you go to regap them you take some of the coating of iridium off, greatly reducing their performance and life. I run 1.1mm iridiums in my gtst and they haven't missed a beat. It is lighty modified, 12psi, fmic, pod, exhaust blah blah usual stuff. So either give them a go and see if they work, or go back and exchange them for .8mm factory gapped iridiums, or go with the rest of the crowd and buy coppers and gap them to your hearts content. Keep in mind coppers need replacing more often but are dirt cheap and will perform just as good or better than iridiums. But for myself I have iridiums and haven't had a problem with them yet.
  2. Has anyone else had an issue of boost dropping off higher in the rev range? Mine has been working fine for ages & i just came back from holidays and noticed it was dopping off about 1.5psi. I've given the spring a slight stretch but it didn't seem to do anything. My boost is set at 12psi and it hits it, but it drops down to 10.5psi.
  3. I used lightweight shockproof for the gear box. Heavy shockproof for the diff. The oil has done wonders.
  4. yeah, 1/2 hour to an hour from start to finish. And you definitely don't have to take the front bar off. Just the inner guard.
  5. Did you use the 100% creatine dan? Or a creatine blend? 100% micronised creatine is the go if you want to take creatine. if its a blend your taking, its probably the other ingredients your body's not agreeing with.
  6. There wasn't any reinforcing in mine. And I haven't seen one yet that has it. If you you want reinforcing, then do this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...l&hl=rev210
  7. Just get the front mount. Your already thinking of another turbo, an intercooler will be one less thing to think about when the time comes. If your going to stay with your standard turbs then the r34 side mount is your friend. I had the r34 smic fitted, now i have a fmic on the stock turbo. I didn't feel any detrimental effects everyone seems to about, in fact seat of the pants said it was better, then again seat of the pants could be lying to me, but i'm happy with it. Mind you the only reason i changed was because i managed to damage the r34 smic in a slip off the road in the wet into a ditch. It put a nice leak in the cooler. Back then r34 smic's were being sold for $250. There was no way i was going to pay $250 when i could get a complete fmic kit for $380.

  21. Ok, first i'll quote your initial post. Now for Abu's post in reply to yours. Now again yours in reply to Abu. Now I have much respect for you and this will not change my views on you. Same goes to abu, I feel he is a much respected member on this forum and he provides very usefull info and so do you also. Now you've left out a very important piece of info in you first post and I have highlighted that above. Any person reading your initial post is not going to assume that you ran your stock bov to the atmosphere....thus in your view putting it in the piece of crap catagory. As others have experienced, the stock bov is not crap if it is used as it was intended to be used, as a recirculating valve. Abu's reply was not out of line. In fact it was your post that was mis-informing by leaving out a critical part of information. Explanation and informaton is the key my friend. So it turns out that it is not abu, but you that is the keyboard warrior today. Maybe your just having an off day, but regardless, the name throwing and "going off" at abu wasn't necessary. I intend no offence to you by this post. Thankyou for your time.
  22. no and no. Its not going to have any external visible markings. Unless they put a sticker somewhere that says nismo. Is the throw short?......considerably short? If so then you've got a short shifter.
  23. I always thought the PFC was only made for manual skylines/stageas. And plugging it into an auto isn't going to be successful unless you do some wiring modifications. I think SK had a PFC running on his stagea but he did have to modify something to make it work. It's not a plug and play affair. Also wouldn't a R33 PFC be more suited to your car? I thought the S1 Stagea's didn't run a NEO RB25det....
  24. Lol yeah i can understand. Modifying my bar took me longer than fitting the the cooler hahaha. At least you've didn't have to muck around to much with the reo, a large section of mine mysteriously went missing.......
