  1. Mine's fine. Had it for almost three years now. Did a dyno with it in 1 year ago, pulled "195rwkw" quite easily at the time. I'll be damned if it's restricting my exhaust.
  2. yeah that's pretty poo not being able to ride alone. I had my learners since 16, actually jumped on a bike on the road when I was 21, putted around for 4 weeks and did my prac test and straight onto my RE's. Piece of pie
  3. I've been thinking of selling the skyline, but I'm finding it hard to actually bring myself to part with it. The money I've spent on it has made it drive just the way I'd like a car to drive, that being power and handling and response. I'd like to replace it with something more practical and not spend a lot of money....like i mean about $5g replacement max. Although ultimately I'd like that replacement to have balls which usually means a turbo, be a station wagon, look stock, and all wheel drive would be nice. Most of all, I want the paint to be stuffed and have trolley dints through it because I'm over taking care of cars, and it's not going to matter if I take it off road. I'm pretty much looking For an old Subabru L series wagon with a wrx motor dropped in it.....or a Legacy but its a bit above what I'd like to spend. I think I'm asking a bit much out of a dunga. The biggest thing I would miss is the power, the ability to dispose of slow traffic regardless if it's multiple cars, up hill etc. It is nice to do.
  4. people should post more pics....progress shots i mean
  5. I have one of these, i squashed it in the vice and concaved he top in. Flutters on light throttle back off. I got sick of it and took it off. I'm willing to give it you for the price of postage :P PM me if you want it
  6. you're not mechanically minded are you denis? totally understandable, but I gotta admit it was a hilarious question hahaha
  7. hahahahahahaahahahahahaha !!!!!! Denis for president
  8. I collected a hare also one night, straight into the intercooler. I must say the bunny came off second best. Not a dint or crack/break on the front bar and the cooler was fine. Although there is a slight warp in the mesh. I was pulling tufts of bunny fur out afterwards though hahaha
  9. They have everything going for them, except the interior looks like a older camry and manuals can be sometimes hard to find. Otherwise get one
  10. I feel like a cat whenever i crack open a tin of tuna for some reason.
  11. I use the greddy profecB spec II. Works a treat and wasn't difficult to tune either. If you really want to you could rig up a momentary switch for it to switch Hi-Low mode but what the heck for? I ditched my boost gauge and just use the profec as the boost display.
  12. I reckon its possible if your a big lad. I guy I know did 220 and he weighed in under 100kg easy.
  13. handful of receipts and a flat blade screwdriver
  14. If the catch can is vented to atmosphere its deemed illegal, however if it's plumbed back into the intake its legal. There are a few ways to hook one up. I suggest you hit the search button and you shall find how its done

  18. Anyone remember the guy that was hit at the melbourne F1 by the BAR Honda wheel a few years back? The wheel went through the man hole in the fence designed for emergency crew to jump out in case of an accident. It hit the guy as he was standing in front of it. Of all the places along the fence it went through and hit him. He died later that day.
  19. What a way to exit the sport. So much talent gone so quick..... http://motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=337289 video of the accident: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTDiYS1NVW4
  20. I made this argument a couple of years ago in one of the spark plug threads. No one listened to me My NGK Iridiums are coming up onto 60thou kms and still running strong and good condition after recent inspection. Stuff coppers, I'm not into changing every 10thousand
  21. I'm finding Fuchs is difficult to find in most outlets
  22. This exactly what mine does also. Stamp on the throttle through the gears and it'll spike up to 2.5psi over the set value as it quickly boosts up, but its there for like a half second then it drops back and holds perfect. Slowly boost up under load in a higher gear and it holds boost dead still with out spikes. As far as I can see it's exactly a beer baron explained and nothing to worry about.
  23. was gonna say you'd be half insane to sell your GT for a 32 just for the sake of it.
  24. I left mine gapped at 1.1mm also. Just new coilpacks fixed my missfiring. IMO if you need to gap down your plugs your ignition system isn't up to scratch. Smaller gap = Weaker spark Larger gap = Stronger spark
  25. post pics of the evo too
