  1. I gotta go 90GT4. I won't be back online for a while. Maybe someone else can help you out in the meantime.
  2. That thing above is an actuator. Some cars use only the actuator to control boost. Some use a secondary 'boost controller' to control/raise boost. The skyline for instance uses a dual stage boost controller from factory. the Actuator is rated at 5psi, but the boost controller when it kicks in bleeds off 2psi to make a total of 7psi.
  3. That drawing is pretty whacky man. I don't understand what that thing is you've boxed. You can't take the actuator out of the equation. It's what ultimately controls the boost. It opens the wastegate. What's the stock boost for a GT4? Maybe if its like a WRX it runs a high boost from factory. WRX's run about 13.5-14psi standard.
  4. Did you disable/remove the stock boost controller? You have to remove your stock boost controller and use the turbotech in it's place. It's not a good idea to have 2 different boost controllers trying to control boost. Either way you won't be able to run a lower boost than what your actuator is set too. So if your actuator is 10psi, then 10psi is the lowest boost you'll be able to run. Try and keep things simple. Take the turbotech out of the equation. Hook up the boost signal hose straight too the actuator and see what boost it runs. Then hook up the turbotech and see if you can adjust boost/see what boost it hits. If one of these has a problem it'll show in this test. Too hook it up the turbotech it should be: Hose from intercooler piping -> Bottom nipple on Turbotech (this nipple is inline with the bolt) -> Hose from other nipple to actuator.
  5. Your questions are a little hard to understand. So you want to install the power fc and drive to the workshop to install all your parts, yes? The power fc has a base map you can drive around on, but no boosting it as it wouldn't be tuned. Regardless of what you do the fc will have to be tuned to your mods after they have been installed.
  6. What was it boosting too before you put the turbotech in? Was it using a stock boost controller/solenoid?
  7. If your referring to the ford 6, its stated on the first page. Duratec V6. 3.5L I believe.
  8. Also what makes you think your non-turbo R34 has a 2L in it? They come standard with a RB25DE.
  9. You should of picked up a RB25 gearbox. The RB20 box will be a little too weak.
  10. I thought Power FC's didn't function on the auto skylines.
  11. How many psi is the actuator rated at? Try taking the boost controller out and run the line straight to the actuator. Maybe your actuator isn't opening the wastegate thus the boost keeps rising.
  12. did you ever screw it right down? Maybe the ball is stuck in its seat.
  13. Don't the 32's have a cable driven speedo? Maybe its got something to do with the cable. 32 owners might be able to answer this one.
  14. Don't know. I've never had it done. I don't even know who can do it, or if it can or can't be done on certain cars. Sorry mate.
  15. Yes they're 16's. And no it shouldn't affect speedo readings because they're the stock tyre sizes. Only explanation can be your speedo is out. Get it re-calibrated maybe?
  16. Pics please.
  17. Change your 2.5" dump/front pipe to 3". You should see a gain there.
  18. 225/50/R16 Tyres are an oversized tyre for the stock 6.5" rim. You should notice that the tyre over hangs the edge of the rim a fair bit thus making the sidewall strength very soft. Try pushing the on the side of the car while it's stationary and you can see how much movement there is in the sidewall. It should be a fair bit. I'm not sure if this is your problem though.
  19. If your current exhaust system is quiet now, then after you add the dump/front pipe and high flow cat it'll be the same. The cat back controls most of the sound.
  20. Get a motorbike. They're cheap on fuel.
  21. Doubt they would. Unless it was for NA. Anything turbo would be 3" minimum.
  22. Just Jap can help you out for a very reasonable price.
  23. Add a high flow cat to that and you'll be set. 3" Dump/Front Pipe + 3" or bigger High Flow Cat + 3" HKS Cat-back= 3" Turbo-back Exhaust
