  1. Sounds a bit funny. 252rwkw on standard injectors running at 85% inj duty cycle. Doesn't sound right. Are you sure they're standard?
  2. He probably doesn't want to separate the units. Free bumpers
  3. Hahahaaahaha, I've seen you post that real ultimate power rubbish before Bunch of nerds thinking they're ninjas of the orient hahaha idiots This thread has turned into poop. It was a vs thread to start with so it was inevitable anyway. It needs shutting down. That is all.
  4. They mean 18 IN-HG not PSI.
  5. Should be IN-HG not mmHG. Well, it is on mine anyway.
  6. got that right..... or in other words, damn straight.
  7. No it won't fit.
  8. Yes it can. No they're not different if your talking about those GTR blanks that you buy from performance shops/ebay etc. They're the same blank.
  9. Ebay has some cheap nismo knock off's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLACK-NISMO...sspagenameZWD2V Don't worry about the model names as the the skyline shares the same key blank as the cars stated. And I can tell by the photo.
  10. Just get a $5 duplicate that will do exactly the same job. Nismo keys are expensive and hard to come by.
  11. I don't have a photo but the top nipple on the boost solenoid goes to the IC piping for a boost signal. The same hose that goes to the IC piping is tee'd off to the wastegate actuator. The bottom nipple is to bleed/pumb back into the system after the AFM but before the turbo. Usually on the bov plumb back hose it's connected to.
  12. Specometer. Not flashy but does the job just fine. $50. *Ready's fire extinguisher to fight off the flaming for being so cheap an nasty*
  13. Highly doubt it. He knows what a HKS SSQV is and said he'd use one he bought if he broke the stock bov. What if you squashed the back of the actuator where the spring is to compress it, wouldn't that work? Highly bodge job though.
  14. Shift Lock there's your explanation for your seat of the pants improvement. Thats the reason why it feels like it's running more boost.
  15. Hahhahaaha, sure its not just the cold weather? Dude you'll find out once you put your boost gauge on, it didn't change. Unless your tampering with the wastegate actuator or BC, nothing would have changed. Listen to mad082, he speaks truth.
  16. I'm thinking along the same lines as you.
  17. Unless he's talking about squashing the top of the actuator to increase the spring tension in it, then I understand.
  18. Am I missing something? or am I just plain stupid? How the heck does squashing the top of a stock bov restrict/bleed pressure from getting to the wastegate actuator thus making it open later? Wouldn't it just increase the spring tension in the bov? I mean the wastegate actuator is being triggered by the boost solenoid which doesn't go anywhere near nor gets its pressure from the bov. Therefore the wastegate actuator shouldn't be hindered by the bov regardless of what you do to it.
  19. Twin 3" for turbo. Twin 2.5" max for non-turbo.
  20. Ah... I see. So the power level will tell you if you need to change internals or not. 270rwkw is supposed to safe apparently. Is it possible to measure the volume/amount of air that enters the engine? so as to essentially say how much the motor is capable of flowing? eg. X motor can flow Z amount of air/per minute?
  21. I've read about 18spi is safe/limit for stock RB25 internals.
  22. What size is this turbo?
  23. Don't worry about, just bought one. Thanks anyway
  24. Have you still got the factory bov for sale? If so, shoot me a pm and it'll be sold.
