  1. You should at least get a little wheelspin or chirp into 2nd. It depends how harsh you change gears. But taking off normally in 1st and then flattening it? No you won't get wheelspin, unless its wet. Need more power to do that. If you want even less traction, get some nexen n2000's like i have. Man I hate them!
  2. Sliding Performance Hiflow. http://www.slidingperformance.com/catalog/...products_id=319
  3. Hmm yeah, i don't really care about the bling factor of my engine bay. I'm not worried about my mounts either. I'll pass on it i think. Thanks guys
  4. auto electrician.
  5. whoops didn't see the r34 bit.... maybe someone else wants it...?
  6. Sorry guys i'm just ressurecting this thread. I'm interested also, are there any benefits to fitting one of these?
  7. I saw one on just japs website in the used performance parts section. Going for $1299 with the hand controller. http://www.justjap.com/parts_uelectronics.htm Not sure if its still for sale.
  8. Its best if you change the stock dump pipe as it is very restrictive. It'll give you a much better pull through the rev range. I've found this out when changing my own exhaust. I took some comparison photos in this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=144283&hl=
  9. Payment & PM sent Thank you very much scott
  10. Yeah insurance probably won't be cheaper. Your just modifying your turbocharged car.
  11. ^^^^ Like SKiT_R31 said, you'll have to up the compression as well. It won't be properly done if you don't.
  12. Hahaha must be one of those rare 'mint' trees I've been hearing about. But you can only pick em when they're ripe, otherwise it'll just turn out to be a forgery. hahahaha
  13. I believe the cooling pro type 1 kit from just jap is bar & plate. And man they're cheap! $345 can't go wrong.
  14. I suppose. Is that your engine bay? As long as there is boost pressure in that line you should be able to use it.
  15. I believe jeffworld2 is talking about this hose. Correct me if i'm wrong.
  16. Here's one. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Polished-Stainless-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  17. Probably an oval resonator would suit you though. you shouldn't have to change your rear muffler, unless your after a particular look.
  18. ebays got some stuff. Universal oval mufflers and all that.
  19. there's not much he can pick up in the sporty jap car range for 6K other than the aforementioned non turbo s13. Get him a SSS pulsar its got an sr20de in it. Goes hard for what it is. N14 92-95(i think) model if he's lucky.
  20. you could try Ryno or Famous or Vigil aswell.
  21. Ok then point taken. The first time i updated my mod list was with a strut brace and they hit me $120 for it. The brace cost me $120 to buy, but then i was allowed another 4 mods for free then they would stick it up again. I might be getting a bit nitty gritty now, should i have to mention i have a hiflow panel filter in the stock airbox? Surely thats not a modification.
  22. for sale section dude. They don't cost that much to buy new anyway, $150 or so.
  23. Your air box wouldn't be letting much sound out. You probably don't have much induction noise either. Put a pod on and you'll get some more noises.
  24. My mate has an s15 and it flutters anyway without blocking off the bov. It was especially audible once he put a pod filter on and upped the boost a bit. The only thing he blocked was the little hole in the bov to stop the air leak, but it fluttered even before this.
