i can help with the castor rod bracket. will be down that way in a few weeks if your not in a hurry.

Good stuff russ. i wouldnt go past just doing it in alloy. its marginally heavier but if you learn to fold and cut it yourself then get someone to weld it its a pretty cheap option. i was surprised looking at the old Group A-C cars how much ducting was made by alloy and just riveted together. just an option to save cash.

i have a strait boot lid. $100

i have a set of r32 Bomex? style aero mirrors will suit GTR gtst and 4 door. hunted for somthing similar for a while, ended up making a set of aero mirrors to my liking then these cam up. these ones are electric and work of the original controls so grate on a street car. decided to keep my custom ones for now. chasing $200 ono.

i have a r32 gtr rear sway bar for sale. these are quite a bit heavier than the stock gtst bar and are a grate upgrade. they are also hollow and weigh nothing compared to a whiteline bar of equivalent spring. there is some info about comparing GTR and whiteline bars on this site but it was discussed years and years ago. they are a grate option for circuit with a front bar aswell as they are light or if you like drifting they will help with entering corners backwards. i have all the rubbers and mounts for the bar as they take slightly different bits. looking for $100ono i think white line bars are $180 odd new. also have an Impul 260km/h speedo $150 and a GTR factory BOV. 1 only. $50

i have a r32 Impul speedo out of a r32 gtst. check pic for quality and kms on clock. cool unit. got it to put in my daily then sold it before install. $150ono also have 1 GTR factory BOV. got it with the same intentions. never fitted it. $50 parts located in Tas. happy to post PM me for fastest reply. thanks

i used to run Semis on the front when drifting. it all depends on the pressure you run. i ran yogies A048s and they were grate. i ran some dunlops once and they were horible. had no feed back through the wheel and understeered like crazy. if you start the pressures high they grip well. only time they are rubbish is when they go off after neumerous runs. happened at power cruise. hot day and multiple laps non stop. when i was competing i never had issues with understeer but many of my compeditiors did. as time has gone on ive since gone back to plane old 595ss as. with decent car setup for drift under steer isnt an issue but i wanted "slip" in the front to carry angle for longer. the tyres look like hell after a good day of draging. in sumary. if you have them they will be better your average tyre. if they dont seem to be getting hot put more pressure in them.

i was surprised at how few other competitors we met this year. we did come up with a odd route to do them all but still. this was also changed by unforeseen circumstances. was a ruff day down the west coast sunday but was excellent training. today we got snow over the top of mt Rolland. i have a saw back and neck from trying to hand on in a standard seat and looking down at the notes. has taken 4 days of down hill to stop from pushing my foot through the fire wall. i find it better at race pace as there isnt time to think about the massive drop below.

i have a set of Bilstein shocks with whiteline springs from the old Sydney Kid group buys. have done maybe 15000kms pulled them out to sell a car for a lesser price. these come complete with stock top hats front and rear. the kits required the original strut tops to be used. so they are ready to bolt in. Features. different valving to off the shelf items to suit springs for a better street / track feel. 5 adjustment grooves over the 2 standard grooves. these are circlip height adjustable. will go plenty low enough. i have been in plenty of imports with varying suspension and these have been by far the best street riding for comfort and grate for a bit of twisties action. located in Tasmania but happy to post. please PM me as i dont check in here often. looking for $400 ono.

S14 With Neo Rb25 Drift Car.

as you have just rewired it your miss fire may be being caused by electrical interference into the CAS wiring. running the 2 white shielded wires near the coil packs or to close to the injectors or anything that may cause electrical "noise" can make the ecu miss read the signals. when i wire rotaries it is very important that the ignition wiring and crank signal wiring are separate as they are prone to misfire then killing engines. i have also had CAS die randomly and they will cause an under load fault. checking on the ecu shows it should have X amount of timing but checking with a timing light shows actual ignition timing far less. will be fine untill load is applied. im sure you have checked it but fuel pressure will also cause a miss under load. not sure if you have put a gauge in it yet but as your lift pump was faulty you may still have an issue. depending what brand E85 you are using it may be killing your pumps/injectors. i know of local racers that have had 2 or 3 pumps go in as many events due to the brand/quality of E85. this is because E85 is Hydroscopic and will take in water. E85 manufactures are allowed to add a small amount of H2O to the mix but this can and will cause seizures of pumps and injectors. hope that gives you a few leads if you done have it sussed already. -
there is definatle cheaper brembo options about including mounying kits ect. Pm sav man he is the master of getting good brake deals. he recently ordered in a Aston db9 upgrade kit for less than half retail.

still planing to make the first ADGP round in tas? -
you didnt end up with the the D2Rs then? i hate making seat mounts with a passion. i had pulld my seat out which was no easy task 3 times before i remade the rails. kept putting it off. this time i drilled extra holes so it can me mover forwards in half the time. what street tyres were you running?

Watched you tubes pete. looks like good fun. always wishing it was me there. im defiantly no expert but can i offer some thoughts. the car seems to push a lot even whist drifting. i would think from my drifting experience that its a lack of front grip rather than push from the diff. it may seem a bit backwards to some as push and front grip would be seen to be similar but it seems from the footage that the front especially when drifting doent respond to what you want and thats why i think you have to work the wheel so much. i have been through this with my own car at basky where i have to steer with the rear and hope that the front guides it as best as possible. a recap on the situation has found that a tyre selection or tyre pressure change would fix it. Also its a personal preference but id look at moving your seat forward as you look like you need gogo gadget arms to reach the wheel. sometimes 10mm will make the difference. this is another thing i have been through with my car and it can make a world of difference. not trying to judge just offering my limited experience.

i have one with crank and pistons still in it. Pm me an offer.

we were in Brabham but ended up viewing from the Johny Walker bar platform and off brockies hill turns 9-10 and into 11 for some of the suport races. mixing it up was definatly a good option. the sun was a pain but wasnt a big drama for the race. was suprised how effecient the trams were by sunday. friday was by far the worst day for trams. very pissed with the orginsation of the GP advantage pit walk. as were plenty of other peope we bumped into. missed it due to no one haveing any idea where to go. was in the end told the wrong spot and waited there for half hour. was suposed to get a detailed email regarding details and never got it. was a good weekend with plenty to see and do at the track. not sure id rush back next year thoe.
