  3. bit of an update. Ive rebuilt the original turbo. some Injector dynamics 1000cc injectors on the way for some e85 love. some pics from the last club day i did. and the flat spot i managed to get. more to come soon
  4. pic of said dog bone style camber arms.
  5. the original 32 gtst loom is around 25kg including all the small ecu and control units. bens targa car had to have a fair bit of stuff added over the top of what was stripped out plus it still runs electric windows and mirrors ect. once you have stripped a car of the easy cheap to remove weights it is hard to find 16odd kg on one area that doesnt cost a bomb so we are pretty pleased with the result. im yet to do a r33 so im not sure what the starting weight would be. aparently the r35 has a tun of wiring weight but because of its complexity no one has tampered with it much.
  6. Ah i get this all the time. this joke is seriously old. less weight is free power and free brakes. its simple phisics? how do you think an rb20 powered r32 can lap basky in the times it does? no rb20 r32 has ever done it before? it doesnt have massive hp or belistic brakes? its not the .25kg from one thing either its .25kg from everywhere. its not possible to run Nos everywhere Justin. if it was it would probably have it.
  7. hey dave yes they fit up the same and work the same but i want to keep with the r33 one im replacing.
  8. will do tomorow.

  10. im chasing a good condition rb25det head complete and a rb25det starter motor if anyone has one laying around. even if its just a bit tired. pm me with what youve got. thanks damo
  11. you could buy a set of d1r's in the size you want for that money. your still welcome to try mine on
  12. fianly got a new core for my turbo. rebuilt it and fitted it up. hopefully be the last time i put a turbo on it for a while. sold off my injectors to make way for some 1000cc jobies. then to rewire it to tidy up the mess under the dash. ive almost finished a super light loom for Pete Nunns car. ill be building a similar one for my car. we were able to make it around a third of the original weight. the loom i biult for Bens targa car was about half the original. maybe a bit heavier with the extra bits we needed. once loom is done ill get a retune then some body work and it will be ready to enjoy. ah you have to love cars.
  13. you need to add tune cost to that. i know that GT were $1100 base price for complete nistune job. 650 is only instaled. it wont run like that so you then have to instal it and tow it to a workshop then have them tune it wich will be min $300 so theres almost your 1100 for gt. im pretty sure boost is cheaper than that but power fcs are cheap and they come with a base map and do all the things you need. nistune is the cheapest way you will get around it but for the price and added benifits of a power fc it would have to be the next cheapest option. if you find other cheaper ecus like link you will need to find a tuner that will be happy to tune with it. everyone tunes power fcs.
  14. ill be going out for a look see. brads car is going to be more epic than mad mikes rotor blowing a diff when his engine expires. haha
  15. pretty sure daniel H has some rear bilstines to suit r32. but weather they are for sale or not i dont know.

  20. i pulled my shitter out ready for a run this weekend at a motorkhana. bolted steves turbo on and away we go. 260odd kw of overkill for what its doing. on better news i now have a new turbo ready to go on after this event. and getting bigger injectors ready to roll on some e85 love spunk. im keen to see what it will do on that.

  23. have you only changed the skirts? im liking it very much and somthing a bit different which is hard to do in this day and age. top work to all involved. oh and the led strip lights are a nice toutch.

  25. in reality sponsorship for a company unless they are directly related to the automotive industry is pretty useless. sure sometimes people see a name on the side of a car and think "hey i mite shop there because they are into motor sport" or people mite drink monster energy because ken block matkes good youtube movies. ive always had one good sponsor behind me but in reality its only 10% of my motorsports budget. i got it because i used to to after hours work for a bloke. he had race cars and a sucsessfull company and offered to pay my entry fees so they i would atleast be out there doing stuff. the sponsorship went further as far as lending a car trailer and other small buts but never as far as paying for any parts going onto my car. other places i have delt with have given me exceptional pricing on parts or service but rather than put sinage on the car i just recomend all my mates to go to them as well as me telling them to go there and see X man is more benifical than having a sticker on the car. if i was you and had someone keen to give you a bit of cash id recomend getting them to pay your entry fee for events. they can the write a cheque to the car club involved and you can enter the car with a naming rights sponser. id also go for an event by event deal so rather than getting $500-1000 at the start of the year spreading that throught out the year. this means if you blow an engine or gearbox at the first event you dont feal compeled to give you sponsor his moneys worth. so my 2 bits of advice round by round deal paying entry fees. sponsorship is classed as advertising and advertising is 100% tax deductable for a company.
