the transport between cethana and guns plains was oviously an over sight as it didnt factor in the new distance/time of the new start line. the GPS oviously made the distance correction but it had been over looked in the road book. non of the other transports were that tight for time so that was the conclusion i came to. and the time marshall was a knob. i went up and politely asked for a book in time and he said if i wanted one we had to overtake the 7 cars in front of us and drive into control. i then aproched the Head offical at the start time and was met with the same reply. i was going off my nana when i got back in the car but took note of the times ect incase of penalties.

hey mate nice clean ride and i like the gramlights for somthing different. they suit it. im a big fan of the garden edging. on one of the bars i used it on i added some brackets to kick the rear out to blen in with the wheels a little. example

i didnt realise how cheap this car is. its local to me and i hasnt done much racing for the last 2 or so years. it has everything an r32 needs to start at the track and like usual its had the money spent. if the motor pops put a 25 in it as all the stuff will interchange. if i was to start on a clean slate id be going for an S14. a few reasons. more advanced in most aspects than the s13. better parts all around. heaps of after market suport. Aus delivered meaning that they are everywhere. second pick would be an r33. i think they are a hugely under rated car for any kind of motorsport. its just a bit of a mind set thing. its a bit like how older people still race toranas but not many race ford GT's. the big plus on the r33 is the bullet proof box but in circuit it will take a while to brake an sr box. and with recent experiances im not a fan of the r33 rb25 engine. as far as lap timing track stuff i would get one of the Haltech racepac dashes. if you want to take somthing away from every track day than a data logger is very handy. the racepac dash does lap timing. lap tracking. and will log a swag load of data. whist this may seem to be an expensive option and far more than you need by the time you add one or two decent gauges and a stand alone lap timer than you will nearly have spent the price of the dash. in our recent experiances the data that is able to be collected by these dashes makes it pay for its self by only improving the car where it needs it. if your car needs a new ecu or an ecu to start with than the plug in haltech options will share data between the ecu and dash making the pair of them a very good mix.

that is a trust front bar i belive. they are avalible off ebay according to my mate who has one. similar but subbtly different to the GTR bar.

we were on different notes again but ours didnt flow with what the road was doing and very nearly ended up in the bank. its oviously just one of thoes corners. i also find it to be fatuging. while its not the longest stage i think in our road book it has the most or almost as many pages as mt arrowsmith.

just a heads up. if you unplug the AFM the ECU will run in limp mode so it will idle and do everything normally. ive seen similar issues before but it doesnt nessasarly mean its AFM. ill swap your 33 for my 4 door now if you want to.

there is no reason why the OEM sensor wouldnt work on air pressure. the bigger concern is that the sensor and gauge will read in the range of the pressure you are watching. about the only thing you wouldnt use it for is fuel pressure.

if you havent already check out the porsche movies, this is the first one they played this at the dinner last night. i watched them all just before and just about every car gets shown. it may have had a massive budget but i wish this format was how the targa TV show was put together.

we took the targa car to barsky saturday just gone and used the track. there was just under 20 drivers and some bikes running to. it was the first time ive used the track with other people but not an offical day. there was 3 mates there racing each other and that made for interesting watching.

car 723 of mr savman and i have had trying times. we had to do an engine swap last night and finished at 5am. 7am it was on the dyno. fair to say we had no sleep. id also like to thank all the people that offer their assistance and or parts. grately apreciated and also to all the people that came up to ben and i at the prolog to talk about the car.

shimming is a pretty DIY job. but i know ronny at rons automotive will do them pretty cheap. but hes also up north. you can send it up to me and that will be 4 to do after targa.

hi guys i know this maybe a FAQ but search has turned up blank. does anyone know where i can get the clasic GTR badge. the one that looks like this GT-R that is commonly used on r34s nower days? i did some hunting around and all i could come up with was the odd rare original one for many $$$$ but thought there should be suplyer of them somewhere. or is it a fact of the only ones you can get are original? thanks in advance for any help.

these motors are making me very excited. im very keen to put one in my car but am hoping a few more people do the r&d on them as i dont have a big enough budget.
