  1. hey mate good choice with the turbo. if you like it and it worked before than stick with it. im also a fan of the stock looking turbo setup. as far as the S14 gear goes. in our experience the rack has no more length (or lock). an r32 rack with lock spacers and modified lock stoppers is the best bet. the next step after that is some NP hyper nuckles. soon to be added to my car. as for the s14 PS pump ive never tried to fit one. we have however fitted r33 pumps as they are very similar looking (if not the same pump) and have a single outlet. the PS fluid canister is plastic and light weight. and they bolt up to the RB20 engine mount with the use of a washer for perfect spacing. ive also changed to a r33gtst harmonic balancer on mine as they are lighter and have a 3PK belt space for the PS where as the rb20 has the 4PK spacing. ive mounted my PS pump where the AC used to be and it was just the case of making one of the mount holes oval and making a small metal bracket to pick up the mount. it wasnt as easy as first thought but id never seen it done and its lower centre of gravity ect bla bla crap crap bla. i like to do things different to. it may be easier to fabricate a new bracket if you know some one capable of doing so. i like to work with what i have so i made mine fit. sorry if it seems like im stealing your ideas im just sharing the knolage base. im keen to se more people develop and create than simply buy and bolt on. your turbo is another good example.
  2. post up the Pre Christmas sale pics ben Re the alloy sikaflexed on. if you need to remove them to you can easily like the original factory ones. Plus, besides the weight of alloy, it's easy to work with.
  3. PM sent
  4. ronny from rons automotive in launceston has a recoed 25 box for sale. was going behind a 25 30 engine and the project got canned
  5. i was recommended the mothers clay bar to remove over spray off some parts i brought. i was very sceptical but it worked a treat. ive doen a few cars since and not only does it make them as smooth as a Brazilian but also gives the paint a depth that only the eye can see.
  6. will you be in launceston? im not planning on comming to hobart but if some one will 100% take them than i will bring them down.
  7. i take the cash after the credit car has spat it out im not surprised that no one has brought them but they can be very hard to find when you want them that is why im reluctant to sell them. oh if some one from down south wants them i will deliver them up untill monday next week.
  8. pics. drivers side is cover in packing tape used to keep the bonnet down on the old car. it also has paint missing on the edges that meet up to the door. passenger side is pretty immaculate.

  12. i know you have said no already but a forward facing plenum is going to make your engine bay look soooo much cleaner. just put a cheap ebay job on for now. better response. better looking. but it all comes down to cost top work anyway i love the fabrication work.

  14. i have a write up on this car in an option mag a mate brought back from japan. i cant read japanese but they have enough english text to get the idea. it had a faster track time than most of the GTRs in the lap battle. looks different with the bolt on guards and he has made some smart but sensible mods to get the times it gets. ill try and find the mag and list the details.
  15. we'll post up the info no doubt after its in and working.
  16. hey mate yep they were. im chasing cash at the moment thoe to finish of the car. ill be onto you about them soon.

  20. getting closer now
  21. there is a chaser in an old hpi mag that had just what your after. i dont have the pic or the mag so i cant help with an actual piture. they basically used the type of stands that hold the wing currently (gusseted aluminum around 10-15mm thick) that had a flat surface on the top designed in such a way that when the boot is shut ( standard hinged boot lid) the top of the legs and base of the wing touch. the bottom of these legs in the boot had feet that were bolted to the boot floor. so in theory it was like having really long legs for the wing that snapped in half when the boot opened. hope that helps
  22. i just painted some of bens carbon fibre white. its very high quality
  23. unfortunately they dont run the barington one any more due to a massively deteriorating road surface. its also got no grip at the best of times and at least one car gets totaled at every event
  24. ive had a look over the youtube links. they look good.
  25. what one do you like best funz? ive done legerwood lane and barigton ones as driver and passenger but i dont think i would go back to either for the expence of the travel and the value of driving time. but in saying that im hella keen to get my car to one
