more of engine assembled and bulk head fittings for the boost controller as the solenoid lives inside now. -
I done the same thing as above about 3 years ago. It's effectively does the same thing as the mines cam baffles except you can't buy a drop in option for a 25 cover I have been using my engine for drift an circuit and have no breathing issues. 2 points I'd like to add is you should drill some holes in the front wall of the baffle as such. If you have a look at the mines website it shows pics of how the oil slops front to back and needs a path at the front and back of the baffles for the best result. You may have done this but I couldnt tell from the pics. Also we have found from testing that the foam has more of a negative effect as it holds the oil and doesn't let it drain back as quick as having no foam. If you happen to get a big serge the foam won't stop it going out the breather but it will also keep gettin pushed out

I literally haven't touched this car for a good 5 weeks. The oil pump pull apart was the last job i had done and it's been staring me down every time I walked into the shed. I vow to never attempt to build/ major works on my own car over the summer period again. My work load and social life double in the short but sweet tassie summer. I am looking forward to long nights in the heated shed over winter when there simply isn't anything better to do. So with 5 minutes notice I told Ben we were assembling an engine and that's what we did Sunday arvo. The bottom end is now complete. Waiting in a hg as i ordered the wrong one in a moment of dumb then the head can go back on. Some extra bits I've picked up over the past 5 weeks are arp head studs, nismo adj fpr, r33 gtr dash cluster, gktech offset rack spacers and long hollow wheel nuts and a stack of pro flow fittings to plumb the boost controller nicer. Things i have done on the side are. Repair exhaust manifold cracks. Make new brake line. And modify inlet side of the gtr throttles. Some pics of all of this to come. -

You won't be able to just join the 2 tail shafts. They are a fair bit different. But it easy to get the 2 made into one. Take a measurement from the end of the output shaft on the gearbox to the center bearing bolt holes. Take that measurement and both the tail shafts to dynamic balancing in invermay and they will sort you out. -
To nice to throw at trees.......

Genuine Nissan part. 20 or 30 bux I wouldn't bother with second hand. I brought 3 or 4 in one go for all our boxes cos they were so cheap. If your local Nissan isn't very helpfull I can get you one.

Ryno's R32... Over A Decade And Counting

I've been using my car for Motorsport duties for 5 years with a r33 box and short shifter. I wouldn't have it any other way and gave never hurt a box. but plenty of people brake boxes with them. -
Zoid. I think your being a bit harsh. He said its black. What more do you need to know. You either want a black gtr or you don't. Lol

Sold about 6 months ago

I had been looking for open ended wheel nuts for a while and found that gktech sell them an quite cheep. Available in short or long nut both open ended and steel so they don't strip.

Just don't use cheap studs. Cheap studs have soft knurles and have a tendency to spin in the hub. And bind on the threads. It's no fun trying to undo a nut off a turning thread. I'll be interested to see if kell only drinks 2 days worth of drink rather than the 5 days worth she drinks after TT

Hmmm I have one of them. It was fitted to a street car. Just that no blingy pedals. I swapped it into my race car as it was more race. Haha. -
Have you every tried a twin pass radiator Simon? There is a company that's isn't pwr that make very high quality ones that don't seem to give any problems. Another issue that some people may be overlooking is cavitation caused by your high revs and low air speed due to sideways ect. I've been told in the past that under drive pullys should be used on drift cars. I personally hate electric water pumps because a they are always fitted to gay rotors and b they fail more often than work.

I've been slowly rebuilding the engine myself this time around with some helpfully hints from others. I mean of you have a book in front of you and some people to assist if things don't seem right than its like anything elce really. Sunday's last job was to pull apart the oil pump and clean it. Well there was a surprising amount of piston bits that had been through the oil pump gears. It was then decided that I would replace the gears with another standard rb20/25 set. Tonight i pulled apart a rb20 pump. First thing I noticed was the gear shape was different. Then the thickness of the gears was also different. A quick look through some other bits and I found that I had stumbled apon a n1 oil pump. This pump was pulled out of a box of engine parts I had brought years ago for a small amount of cash and fitted to the engine last time I had it built as it seemed newer than the original. The big question I have for anyone that has ever pulled down a neo engine is. Do neo rb25s have n1 pumps? As all my bits were supposed to be neo engine bits. -
Up untill recently I would have ruled the ecu out as a fault but with the age of the power fc I'm seeing more and more silly faults. My own power fc has has the tacho output drop out. So I got it repaired then almost 12 months later it got an internal idle switch fault. There was no reason for it to stuff up it just did. New ecu is in the cards.

Yea I've heard since that that is what they are like. I think it's one of thoes things where people go gee I've spent a lot of money in this car I'm not going to tell people it sux. Haha I'm sure its a personal preference.

Just to rub salt I got to drive said gt3. Funny thoe I didn't like it haha. I would love the back end and the torque in a skyline but not a fan of the front. If you get a cabin on the spirit. One car 2 people you can kiss $800 good bye. Add car trailer and service car/crew it goes up rapidly.
