  7. yep yea my head get is getting bigger and bigger chasing down GTR's.
  8. i got this time down to a 1:04:1 today. carrying 20kg more weight and a slightly hotter and windier day. oh and on some old very used pads. since that time i have put in brand new Pedders coilovers and a D-Max duck tail wing. i am fairly confident that some new pads alone will cut more time without any other changes.
  9. grate so 3 hours of racing then its home again. thanks ben
  10. what time does this start sunday?
  11. well possible change of plans. looks like i may be at this and no drifting. i suppose ill have to order some pads over night now. none left from last time and apparently you dont need them for drifting. who has ran EBC's what colour and experiences? who has bed in pads at the track then raced on them?
  12. hi all. i have an after market GTR grill for sale. some call it a trust or top secret item. all i know is its somthing different. i had it on my track car for about 9 months and have just changed to a full GTR front end and would like to have the original grill to make it 100%. i had this as my bonnet is a cut down GTS bonnet and i didnt want it to look to GTR but now id like the original look. i am open to swaps of nearly any condition of GTR grill (paint cond, colour, missing brackets) as i will fix it as nessasary. the grill has all the bits i needed to fix it to the original GTR grill mounts. the grill is currently in primer. chasing $130 plus postage as thats what i payed. Pm me for more info
  13. yea well apparently its illegal to have more than one wife.

    Tss '09 ?

thats good to know now i can plan the build on the circuit car. and im pleased they dropped it back to 6 rounds.
  16. With narrowly missing out on a Podium finish at the final round and also 3rd in the 08 tassy drift series I've wanted to throw a bit more into the 09 season. how the car sat at the completion of 08 Late 08 seen the start of what would come for 2009. with the new dash setup, custom cold air intake replacing the headlight and a fully sealed air box inside the engine bay. Early 09 has seen cosmetic changes in the line of GTR front guards, GTR front bar and a VS GTR lower lip. parts on the way are GTR bonnet (light weight) and a D-Max wing thanks to SP Garage. and major works are under way to repair last years body kit. Anther major upgrade for the 09 season is some New coilovers. Pedders Suspension Launceston has come on board as a major sponsor for the car and it will now be running the recently released Pedders Extreme coilovers. no testing has been done on them yet but i am very excited about starting soon. they feature base height adjustment, 30 step damper and rebound adjustments with spring rates of 8kg front and 6kg rear. i have already fitted these and i am very happy with the quality. Pedders Launceston are also able to get in all white line suspension components making them a almost drive in work shop for all your drift suspension needs. Some other updates for the car is the dash has now been re-trimed in suede to cut down on glair. Stay tune for updates over the next few weeks as the car will now be at Power Cruise.

    Roads?

yep i was thinking that but i had a fail between my brain and fingers.

    Roads?

not realy. plenty os skylines running around with exernal gates. pods. Bov's. ect ect. low. bald tyres. basicly if you atract their attention by speed or noise than they will book you but rearly defect cars. my mate has been driving a r33 around for 6 months with sponsor stickers all over it and has only recently been pulled over and given a warning for it. you would be un lucky to get caught basicly.

    Roads?

Top gear AUS have used tassy roads quite a bit for filming. nearly any direction you go you will find a lot of corners. my mum is over from SA and she commented about how much fun it is to have more than 1 corner within 100km.
  20. did u still need that part for the rear seat belt? its still sitting at work.
  21. you wont be able to buy the plugs. not even from nissan. if you want to do it cheap just use spade terminals like the blue coloured ones. otherwise i have some i am willing to cut off a loom. pm me a offer.
  22. thanks for that. i wasn't sure if the workshop that did it wanted it to be a known fact. i have run with a hicas lock bar for over a year but i will change it to the no hicas arms. how did you get the hub end to mount up properly? as they have a stud in them for the tie rod end to mount to? was it just a matter of pressing that stud out? i run my car low as buggery now and have always liked it that way but am only just finding ways to improve it at that height. is it easy to solid mount the sub frame? i see you can gain around 25mm height but does that affect the diff at all? i have a slightly different set up in the front in my GTST but i have had issues with suspension travel with the car so low. the upper control arm (which is now replaced with an adjustable dog bone type) is nearly folded up against the upright. after playing with the car tonight i have decided to weld in a box section and mount the upper arm higher to return it more standard like settings. because its a GTST i have plenty of room behind the strut towers to do this. i am also getting some adjustable rose jointed tie rod ends to eliminate bump steer and some press in roll centre adjusters for the lower control arms as they differ to the GTR ones. thanks for the help.
  23. the indicator wiring is part of the engine loom. are you mainly after the plugs to suit the indicators then a short length of wire (30cm) that can then be joined back into the loom?
  24. dave your inbox is full. if the sale falls through ill take the calipers.
