i know i haven't posted in this thread yet but do you have any more info on how to change the mounting points or is that a bit of a secret between mates? i have a R32 GTSt and i have read that a r34 rear cradle is a good upgrade for traction as the control arm mounting points are in better positions geometry wise. is what you have had done similar to running a later model sub frame? thanks for any help you are able to give me.

is that an after market front lip? it looks the same as the twoogle one off HPI. where dod you get it if you dont mind me asking?

i have installed the AIM or haltech dash into a few cars before. it is a pretty orsome unit. it is pretty much stand alone, takes CAM interfaces, and can be calibrated to accept any types of sender units. one that we did was in a race car and went along side a haltech e11v2. it only used about 3 inputs from the ecu and the rest were from VDO sender units. that means easy to buy in australia. at the time of install it was only using minimal functions but it can data log any thing from lap speed to suspension travel ect. (that one is the top end model) another friend of mine got a AIM out of the USA a lot cheaper than they were available in aus. he put it in a crazy street 180sx. he got every thing on the car to work through the dash. stock speedo sender, fuel sender, oil, temp ect. he was extremely happy with it. i have driven it myself and it is easy to read. they also sell a carbon fiber panel that is designed for the dash to sit into then you just cut the carbon sheet to fit your stock dash cluster. if i didnt like the look of 10 60mm gauges across my dash id defiantly buy the AIM dash

NOTE: this was my first ever Grip outing at a club day so timing was semi official. i was racing against Wog boy and sav man. i believe that wog boy got a better time than he has listed and sav man was running his usual times. i have spent the last 12 months building this car from a GTS as a drift car running a NA motor with low boost to give excellent throttle control. i call it a GTSR as it has plenty of GTR bits in it and the list keeps on growing. the car is soon to get a retune for more power and maybe bigger brakes.

i am chasing some old school HKS 60mm gauges for a project. i currently have a boost and EGT gauge and i am after oil temp water temp and oil pressure. as far as i can find i cant buy these gauges new so if you have somthing your willing to sell im more than happy to look at it. or any other older style jap gauges. thanks damo

i know you really like your old mechanics mate but they must be dumb shits. im pretty sure i could have come for a ride and diagnosed the problem. they really should'nt have let it roll out the door if it wasnt right. i know you will pay top dollar where your at but it is totaly worth every penny. oh and dont name names untill your happy with the work.

they normaly only cost $20 each to have that done gesty. but he just brought one that had also been cleaned.

ok a few quick things. are you running a series 2 ecu and afm? i am gessing they are your old ones anyway? second. the car requires the right signal from the AFM to keep the engine running. this signal is bypassed by the ecu during engine start by the start output of the ignition switch. that would be why it will start then dies. if you have changed back from a z32 AFM the wiring is different on the plugs than stock AFM plugs. is it possible that the wires are in the wrong pins on the stock AFM? or it is a possible faulty AFM? so try another one to make sure. hope that helps a little.

i had a top day. had some good races with wogboy. wan no where near ben. but got the car down to a 1.04.5 which meant i met my personal goal of a 1.05 not bad for the cars first outing.

item is the climate control unit out of a 92 model r32 GTS-t skyline. they fit in and work the same across all r32 models. they are in excellent condition and both are 100% working. one has been removed from a wrecked car and the other has been removed from a race car that has been stripped out. looking for $50 each plus post ono. please PM me for a faster reply. thanks damo

hey rob i have 2 sets of r32 gtst stockies 16x6 for sale. one set is factory gold colour and the other is the factory grey. looking for $200 for each set. with tyres of some sort. i also have a pair of work rims 16x6. black centre and polished lip for $100. oh and a pair of amg style black centre and polished lip 16x8 rims for $100 i also can possibly show you a set of ROH wheels. 17x8? rims with brand new fire stone rubber. they arent mine but they are for sale. i think the price is $600-700 in shadow chrome. i can provide pics of all rims or simply meet you at ronnies and show you one of each if you like. thanks damo
