hi all i have some wheels to suit skylines for sale. i have a set of R33 gtst stockies 16 x 7". one pair has good rubber the other has minnimal. willing to sell as a full set or in pairs. looking for $100 a pair or $160 for the set i also have a set of amg look alike rims. they have a bit of dish and are pretty tuff looking. they are 16 x 8" nice and wide. they will only fit on the rear without spacers. i have never run them on the front because i dont belive in spacers. all the tyres are bald on these rims. i am also willing to split these rims if any one is keen on just 2. $100 pair or $160 a set pic of both sets below. please contact me via pm or text to 0400 563 199 thanks damo

i would be thinking that yes there would be a legal issue with them. say for example you was in a car accident that killed someone than your car may be examined and it could be found that because you had a un-tested lock bar it may have caused the accident. then you would be in the shit. like any mods thoe. the chances of this senareo ever happening would be very slim but if you was conserned then just get a engerneer cert ant it should be all good. hope that help and its only my oppinion so it has not legal bearing or anything like that. i had a simmilar issue when i made myself a set of adjustable castor rods. i was told if they snapped and i had a bad accident then i would be at falt. but that goes for any mods you do.

the engine bay looks sweet as

r32 gtr front stuff will fit in the front of a gtst and s13 rear stuff will fit in the back of a gtst

i dont know about that but you will have a few extra ponies than me thoe. i sure am keen to hit the track with it. will you have the kit on for round 3? i am thinking about runing providing the engine is ok once i finaly get it running.

thanks for that simon. i managed to get my hands on a few diagrams so it should be good. i also have the aircon stuff to wire up. i think it needs a few bits and pices to make the climate control work. i put the motor and gearbox in yesterday and for some reason the standard rb25 gear box cross member bolted right in to all 4 bolt holes. im sure i read some where this wouldnt happen. i am also using the rb20 engine monts off the block. i will be pulling the motor out again tonight to fix some more stuf up and i will be checking then to make sure the box isnt a rb20 box.

ive spent most night this week on my car and some of today but working 2 jobs is making it hard to juggle car time and sleep. the biggest hurdle at the moment is getting the wiring sorted as i am having trouble finding wiring diagrams. the 25 swap probably isnt such a big deal but its all the other jobs im trying to do as well. because my car had nearly no mods it ment that i now need to do heaps to get it all in and running smoothly. to start with it was an auto so ive done peddal box and all the rest. i have put a 040 pump in (today) which should keep up to the 25 for a while. i want to pull the diff out and reshim it. i had a shim in it but it was to tight so i want to get the right size so it actualy works as an lsd and not a weldy. i had never finished my front mount ie i have a GTR cooler and was going to custom pipe it but never got to it but ive just brought a piping kit so that should have it all sorterd. still needs modding thoe. i do have an oil cooler but it was put on in a bit of a rush one saturday before a race on sunday so i am redoing it. so there is lots more to do but ill try and keep you all up to date and i will try and get some pics up as everyone loves pics.

thats a dam shame ben. sad to see it. maybe you need bigger brakes (note ben has porsch brakes) that bar looks a bit to dammaged to go back on to your car. better put it on mine

you should leave it as a 2 pice so when you wipe it out on a drive way you can just change the lip

the over all expense and a role cage is all that would hold me back. but as my car progresses im sure it will see a cage.

hi all i have a dayco timing belt kit to suit an rb25det. i got it to put on the engine i just brought only to find it had recently been done. the kit includes the belt, new idler and tensioner pullys and some oil seals. the kit is quick and simple and saves the hassel of chasing up all the bits individualy. all you would need is a water pump and you could do your 100,000km service. i am asking for $250 posted aus wide ono for a quick sale please either send me a pm or a sms to 0400 563 199 for fast replys. please dont ring as i wont answer the phone duing work hours but will check sms during the day. thanks damien

hi all i am about a tenth of the way throught my rb25 conversion on my r32 and thought tonight i may put the fuel pump in. i brought a bosch 040 pump a week or so ago as sofar my 32 has seen little in the way of engine mods and the new engine needed some more fuel. i un-screwed the cover and to my suprse the 040 looks nothing like the old pump and doesnt even look like it would fit in the cradel properly. i had a quick look at it to try to work out how i could fit it in but then thought i would just come and do a search on sau but i havent found anything so now i am asking the question? does some one have a how to. i also checked in the stickys and the only fuel pump ones were for increasing the voltage. so could some one please help me and explane what they have done. i have a suspision that people just cable tie the pumps to the brackets and that why all the skylines i have ever been in with AM fuel pumps have been noisy. if no one has any info then i may write up my owne tutorial to help others out. thanks damien

i went out for a late look aswell as i had heaps to do and it looked good to me. id been helping kerry out on his skyline over the last week so i wanted to se that run. it looked a good out there and it was good to see so many 32s out there. they are a top car.

^^^ cool thanks for that. what sort of plugs are you running? i thought it was probably a good thing to see a worn out clutch.

hi simon could you send me some details on the speedo drive please what clutch do you have in it now? is it new?

i picked up my engine today and am yet to do much but look at it. im off to work now so i dont get to do anything to it till tomorrow. one thing i do need thoe is a yoke to suit the gearbox? any ideas. ive since been up to the shed and had a bit of a squiz at the engine. it had a timing belt sticker on it which said 95000 and i was told it had less than 100,000 on the clock so the timing belt shouldnt be to old. i pulled the cover off tonight and sure enough it had a newish looking pitworks belt on it and the water pump looks pretty clean behind the cover. i am still in two minds as to if i should still chuck a new timing kit int it or not. i have one sitting waiting to go but i could probably use the money elce where. i pulled the gearbox off and found a worn out standard clutch. i was hoping for an os geken tripple plate, haha. the turbo has no shaft play either front to back or side to side but it seems odd as two of the nuts that hold the turbo on are loose. loke one had nearly worked its way right off the stud. strange??? and finaly i pulled one of the coil packs out to expose some cheap looking american made spark plugs which look pretty seccond hand. so new cluthc and plugs and a real good clean up and away she will go. no idea on the condition of the g box as of yet thoe.

launni isnt like hobart stu it doesnt rain every half hour hmm should be good. im doing a few things during the day but i reccon ill pop out for a look. there is also a mega cruse on sunday so i gess that will hinder a few spectators.

yea ive been trying to get the missus to buy it. and i could have swapped you my 4 door plus some cash for it to but i dont realy like 33s that much. plus i wouldnt want to breake it.

yea it would probably cost you a bit more too. mine sertanly is but im going to add a few bits to make sure it lasts.
