id also been tossing up weather or not to get one but if the only thing it will do is stop engine mounts wareing than whats the point. how often do you change engine mounts. not every 5 thousand like your oil.

well tonight was the first night of my biuld project. ive put my car into my uncles shed for the next 4 weeks, or thats as long as he will let me keep it there as he thought i said 2 weeks on the phone. also i hope to debue the new setup at the next local drift day which is on the 21st of july. tonight i managed to get front bar bonnet and LHF guard off and out of the way. (the LHF needs some pannel beating) removed all of the intercooler pipeing and side mount. and got the new peddal box in. Wow its cool having a car with a clutch peddal in it finaly. the motor just needs to be unbolted and have all the fluids dropped then it can come out hopeful alowing me to do some fiddly jobs in the engine bay. i have sold the motor and possibly the computer to a friend and hopefully ican pick up the new motor next week some time. ill get some pics on it all next time i am up there. damo

funny you should ask that as yes the indicators get moved from the outer side to the middle which used to be the reverse light part of the 4 door tail lights. i have wired in diodes into the reverse and indicator wiring so that both, now indercators come on as a reverse light. (old fords used to do this and it is legal, i think) only problem is the orange indicator globes dont fit in the globe holders properly which isnt to big a problem. haha i new you would say somthing like that as i only realised after i posted it. so you should be saying yea sure you can have it. i realy dont mind either way but i thought it is a funny debate. and inarks right as by putting covers on you are being different. its like putting a gtr front end on a gtst, guards and all. it gives an illusion. plus they seem to be hard to come by now so its kinda unike. unlike the rest of my car.

that pic ^^^ is a perfect example of why the 4 door lights look gay. the subaru and other car in the lead have similar dull looking lights. every car has a big dull looking section where the designers are like insert shit lights into this big gay black hole in the back of this car. the 32 in front of the 4 door is the only car that stands out because the designers have actualy spent 5 minutes on them thinking how can we make this thing look tuff. well actualy they would have just been like, geez thoes hotplate lights on all our previous skylines look tuff but we wont do it to the 4 door because we want them to belend in as a family car. sory to the guy who owns the white 4 door. it does look quite nice. white is my personal faverate colour.

im keen on the gauges but ill have to wait till my new motor turns up to see what NEEDS to be spent GTR injectors may be a gower to? ill see. some piccies would be tops thoe?

i took one look at it and noticed that it kinda gets realy blury near the fire wall then after taking about 30 secconds more i noticed that the oil catch tank and the arc air box are the same. nice try thow.

ill be keen if the car is running again. of course someone elce will have to drive for me. probably the GF. i wouldnt worry to much about the distance as realy how often do these things get organised? so im up for notrtherners following targa roads back.

hiw much for the Q45 throttle boddy? how big are these and what is needed to run them in say an r33? please pm me with a price

does the plenum come with throttle boddies???

well you could try getting a seccond hand standard rear bar and cutting part of the bottom off then turning it up side down and sticking it to the bottom of the bar on your car. this would make the rear bar come in and the then out again and meker it lower. it may sound like an average idea but like any body work it depends on how much work goes into it. plus rear bars are usealy cheap. just another idea

thanks mate ive looked at yours as somthing to aspire to. i to was after the standard type m foor door skirts but i ended up just modding a set of 2 door ones. ive also watch you go through heaps of coil overs so you have saved me the efort of doing that two. i thought you had a 25 in it. must have miss read somewhere. anyway keep up the good work

i tryed there in the last month and they are now $600 or $650 plus $150+ for freight. may have been more because i know beachys were the cheapest at $750 to 800 landed.

did you end up selling your old turbo setup??? and have you opened up the engine up yet??? do you know if it had GTR rods and pistons???

yess the extra power will be nice but i cant see the funds stretching for a kit and wheels so it will still look pretty average

hopefully my car will be ready for the 21st july practice day at symonds as unfortunatly i have lost my licence for quite some time so my car will only be seeing the track with me at the wheel. it would be good if some of the other 4 doors come out of hiding soon as 3 or 4 4 doors at demo days in a line would be tough as.

well to start with the length and width of the sedan boot is different to the coupe thus-far making the boot lid a completely different size. the sedan boot lid is narrower and quite possibly shorter. i am suprised you have been able to make any of this work. althoe i havent ever had much of a look i simply did a search when asking this question? can i put coupe light in a sedan and i was told no. one of the main aspects is the inside of the lights where the coupe ones are curved the sedan one is straight. best option is to get some east bear tail light covers like i did. only problem with that is that no one can find them. i was lucky and get a set of a forum member. hope that is some help to you. damo

well stage one of my conversion has started. i have a buyer for my old 20 motor and i recived a rb25 long motor in pices including GTR rods and pistons. it should make for a good motor when complete. on a down side its going to be 3 weeks before i get my halfcut.

hey mate pleased to see a new face. next time you head up to launni shoot me a pm before and ill meet catch up with you. there is heaps of motorsport in tassy and its pretty cheap compared to the mainland. at the moment there is a drift practice/meet once a month. drag racing happens around 6 months of the year (im not sure how often) and there is usualy plenty of track days, hill climbs and motorkhanas. damo
