  4. yea i know the castor rods are a touchy thing but all i will be doing is cutting the big end off the rod slightly and i say slightly machining the shaft down then taping a thread onto that then the rose joint screws on. the rose joints are nylon so they dont need lubricating and they are rated at like 2 to 2.5 tun. should be strong enouth. thanks for your input.
  5. what kind of sound do these make if they are plumbed back. if they are turned up will they make the turbo flutter? and what kind of sound do they make if they vent strait to atmosphere? thanks
  6. ok so your saying to still run a bit of rear camber. so they may have been a waste of money for the moment as it would have been better spent on an adjustable sway bar. i was chatting with my felow modifier today and he said that we are going ahead with making my own castor rods so ill have them in soon enough. oh what toe are you running salad front and back? thanks

  10. hi all i thought id just throw my question in here as its all relevent. i sofar have lowered speings giving me some camber all around. a hicas lock bar making it possible to give toe aligment. ive just brought JJ adjustable upper arms for the rear so i can get the rear aligned. what would people sagest the best settings for, here it goes DRIFT. runs and hides from flying objects. im totaly confused wich way i should have the toe. im thinking i should run 0 deg camber on the rear. helps for tyre ware. ive also been looking into a set of adj castor rods from jj but havent had the funds yet. ive also been looking into makeing a set myself. i have a second hand set of castor rods and i have a good price on some nylon rose joints. nice and thick. nylon is better wareing than steel on steel. what do you guys think? im also looking at getting some whiteline adj swaybars. from what ive read if i just get a front one i would be better off as they promote over steer which is what i want. thanks for taking the time to answer my questions damo
  11. the easyest way to fix up the front would be to buy a pair of adjustable upper arms for the front like you have in the back or there is also the option of whiteline adjustable camber bushes. check out sydney kids group buy for whiteline gear for some prices.

  15. hi all a mate of mine has just brought an r32 from the mainland packing some cool gear. RB25 engine and box, gcg hi-flow turbo and a microtech LT 12s computer. i dont personly like these comps but does anyone know where he could get a hand controler for it from? also do these have the option of plugging into a laptop? some dont from what ive read. any info would be grate. thanks damo

    yep thats the one. the old owner used to park it there. i work at carswell auto elec so thats why its parked there. well i was lucky enough to get this out of a wreck very cheaply. they come up for sale on here every now and then. thanks for the nice coments.

    yea i forgot to add the east bear tail light covers. they were just being test fitted when i took the pic. im pretty happy with them and ive sprayed them myself. just a few more coats of clear and they will be on for good. they certainly make the back look better. yea i like the boost gauge idea but i have since straitened it up was going the drift look but it just looked odd. ill post up another pic soon of the other gauges ive put in. the car is handeling well now i just cant wait to get a manual in it.

    hi all i thought i should post up some pics of my car as i have had it for a while but have been lazy. i brought it as a pretty stock turbo auto 4 door. so far its copped the following mods: pedders lowered springs nismo 260 dash tomei boost gauge omori exhaust gauge HKS turbo timer and EBC drift pineapples hicas lock bar front and rear sway bar. a few sets of rims. GTR front mount (not fitted) RDA slotted rotors bendix pads just to name a few. it was in fairly average condition when i got it so ive replaced the drivers side mirror, passenger side vent and have had to do the water pump but its all been fun. hope you all enjoy the pics.

  23. the muffler looks tuff can i ask how much it cost . next time im in hobart i should drop into rrg and see what they have.

GTR coolers can easy be had for $350 or less + piping and fitment but still worth it. and i dont know were you got your info that they dont flow. mine came off a GTR with 350Kw and there is heaps of people on this site that will back them up with 300rwkw. as for flow they are going to flow heaps better than the cheap chianese ones. like the pros say its all about turbulents that are created in in the end tanks that promote flow. why fit cheap crappy stuff to your car if you dont want to fit/up grade it later? do you realy think nissan was like lets just fit these cheap coolers that we got from china to our pride of our fleat. they spend millions in R and D on every part on there cars.
  25. sorry i haddent checked this thread for a while and was interested to see the topic. not trying to be argumentative but i wasnt refering to the 32 in my avitar. im quite aware thats a standard bar and i didnt refer to it either. i thought that that "aero bumper" was a type M because i have only ever seen it on GTS4s or 32s with the whole kit. but i gess that doesnt realy make sence. i just thought it was rare so it had to be type M. also the type M has the bigger brakes as all the brake guides say. try buying new rotors they ask you for the size as there is like 4 to chose from. type M being the bigest before GTR then you get V spec and so on. basicly ive rearly seen any of the type m rotors so if your saying most of the r32s imported to aus are type M where are the Big Brakes? but i could be wrong as i have been befor and im sure i will be again soon.
