  1. didnt xrated have one? you could try asking on www.nissansilvia.com as most tassie guys are on there. hope that helps.
  2. pro automotive seem to be the goods. plus they are cheaper. but i havent actualy had anything done myself. check in the forced induction area in these fourms for some dyno figures of what you should get. hope that helps.
  3. gezz im sic of assholes taking R32s. it sucks balls. well this goes to out to anyone. i can get imoberlisers for around $80 and ill install them for free if people cant aford anything special just so it stops the kents. if any one wants one get in contact with me and ill see what i can do. damo
  4. try www.driftas.com in the classified section skyvia has one. $300 i think which is cheap but i dont know what condition it is in try him see how you go. there was another one floating around for the same price.
  5. just thought id enter in now as i am slowly biulding up my street drifter aswell. a few points id like to make are: 12k and 10k rateings are way to high for road use it would be like riding on the bump stops. 8k and 6k would be my choice for road and track. on down side to such igh spring rates is that these are not very friendly to the cars chassie. expect cracks and fubar bushes ect. if you get coilovers consider keeping your old shocks and springs as you could change between the tow so you have a decent ride on the street and good drift settings on the track. this has the advantage of being able to buy cheap buggered coilovers for the track and not haveing to pay full price for them. what i will probably do as it isnt hard to swap supension around. 1 hour and it would be done. LSD diffs are realy good but pricy. the standar viscus wont last long but you have the option of re-shiming it once it dies. if you can do it yourself shims cots like $20 each from nissan and some new diff oil. this will be just like a new lsd or weldy but will slowly ware out and you will have to do it again. if you decide to go a weldy buy yourself another shagged diff and weld it up. take it in and out when you want to use it just like the coilovers. hope that helps my coment on camber is i cant belive they dont run more. looks like they do.
  6. i think it logicly has to be the ECU needing to re-learn. which isnt a big deal, ither run a few tanks of 98 or disconect the battery and try again wich sucks. but this raises another question, is the 98 realy 98, how would the average person know as they pumped it in, its all in the mind that your car is going better and as proven by kerry its not, at least not on the first tank. as for me im still running PULP and i cant realy see the point in paying more for the product yet as it only drives from a to b and hardly hits boost. another experiance i had a few weeks ago was i accedentaly put normal unleaded fuel in (it had been a long day) and i didnt notice one bit of difference. not saying this is a good idea just i cant tell what fuel im running.
  7. ill try to get some pics up tonight. ive been away for the lats few days.
  8. do you mind if i ask what the F-com will do? fuel or ignition or both? and how old are they? if they are for rb20 than im gessing around that age? has the exhaust gauge sold yet? and also wondering if the hks ssq bov sound the same as the new ones?
  9. are you gona get it back for the weekend taz???

  11. some crappy pics can be found here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=118327 or just go back 3 pages and look at the forsale post from cam lowe not realy sure if i want to sell thoe sorry to be leading you on but....
  12. take it to tas brakes or another brake shop that knows what they are doing. if you have the stuff in your boot call in and im sure they could help out.
  13. well id like to think maybe 10g as ive spent most of my time tidying it up since i got it. but its pretty stock. ill talk to you about it when i come to get the gearbox.
  14. what sort of boost controler is it? do you know anyone that could put it in (like back yarder) i have instaled mine myself althoe i didnt realy tune it myself but they arent that hard just pretty time consuming. any of the places you have listed will charge like $70 per hour at least so it will cost a bit to get it put in. but if you like drive in drive away service than get someone to do it. if you like a bit of hands on im sure somone (or myself) may be able to lend a hand, if you want to go down this road search the how to forums as they will tell you were and what wires and vac lines to tap into. hope that helps
  15. pretty much any where may be able to get dba brakes but they may all differ in price so you should shop around

  20. ive been after your box for ages. ive been msging toffy asking if had brought it and if he would sell it for weeks. anyways im verry interested in it and could pick it up in a few weeks but i could organise to do get it/ pay for it sooner if you want. does it come with a shifter? do the gears feal ok? are you sure its just bearings it needs? as i can get a box for a little more with good gears just shagged bearings? thanks damo

  22. hi all im after a bell housing for a manual gearbox. ive tracked down a box but its missing a bell housing and im just hoping that some one will point me in the direction of one thanks damo
  23. hi all i just wanted to know if there is any better options for cheap turbo upgrades on RB20det s. firstly my car is only a daily driver so i dont need heaps of power. seccondly i know r33 gtst turbos bolt strait on but they also have pretty low limits. thirdly is there something elce from the nissan family that can go on. pros and cons. like a turbo off a VG30 or a GTR. ive heard of VG30 ones being used but not very often and id like to know why a gtr turbo couldnt be used. im sure there is perfectly good reasons why these arent used but any help would be apreciated. thanks
