Massive Clearout! R32 And Other Import Bits
DJRIFT replied to 5LEEPER's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
yea if you want to seperate the kit id like the side skirts. pm me if your interested. -
can i ask why you dont run more boost as surely the mods you have would suport 1bar (as much as the turbo) just wondering why please dont shoot me. and like xrated said if your happy with what it does peak HP isnt a consern.
-
i take it you have a r33 as thats what your pic is. if so 130rwkw is pretty pore i would think even for an rb20 with thoes mods you should get more. maybe you need more boost. boost is your friend.
-
yea wheels are wheels to me. my best mate had dished volk rims with a $4500 price tag but they dont look much better than a cheap set. just what i think anyways. but yea car looks sweet.
-
mmmmm nice. looks like youve got it sitting just right todd. i think thoes wheels suit it nicely.

i offered on it a few days ago. yea i sold the magna and got a 4 door skyline. sorry i couldnt help with buying your silvia but the guy i brought the skyline off traded plus cash forr the magna. about the only way i would get rid of it. you dont have any manual gearboxes floating around do you?
-
sorry couldnt help myself seeings how you sold toffy the bar for $10 less than i offered you.
-
it has got 4 doors todd thier hiding with the turbo. hehe
-
i think you may be confused there. The cam angle sensor wich adjusts the timing is on the exhaust side but this adjusts ignition timing not the cam timing. the cam gear sits in behind this and isnt related to it.
-
Hmm i realy dont see why people are so scetical about cam gears. they do work. they do more for torque than power (kw) and like said before they can help for midrange or top end power. from what i have read a pretty good mod on RB20s as they have poor bottom end power. they are doing a group buy on cam gears at the moment and they are pretty cheap. worth a look.

thanks for the HELPFULL posts. the 2WD version behind the VG30E is the one i ment sorry i didnt expand my question. so same box on the inside but wont bolt up to an RB without some work would the gears drop into a VL turbo or R33 gearbox casing? the reason i am asking is because a mate of mine needs a V6 navara engine and i need a box so we are maybe going to get the engine and box together. thanks

hi all id like to lock up my useless hicas. id profer to put in a hicas lock bar as this way i will be able to remove all the pipe lines and bla bla. so question one is where can i get one and how much do they usualy cost? secondly if a bar isnt the best option has anyone had any experiance with any of the electronic hicas defenders like the HKS ect ect and thirdly is there another option that is better and cheaper? thanks damo

hi all i was talking to a bit of a nissan guru the other day about what gearbox to run in my R32 when i do the conversion. he said that rb20 turbo and rb30 NA gearboxes are exactly the same apart from the ribbing on the box housings. so they are week. he then said that i should get a R33 box as they are the strongest. he said that the r33, rb30 turbo box and the navara V6 manual gear boxes are exactly the same. has anyone ever tryed to fit a manual gearbox out of a navara? or have they ever seen one and been able to say that they are the same box? i know this is a big ask but any help would be grately apreciated

are you willing to seperate the pillar gauge holder?
