Blitz Blow Off Valve
DJRIFT replied to SLO-W32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
do you have any other trumpet parts for it. i wasnt sure but i thought that there were a few you could get for them. -
possibly get new plugs and run a smaller plug gap. helps firing and may make your need for coil packs go away. get a workshop to gap them if you dont know how to. i dont know how small a gap you shoud run ither sorry correct me if im wrong anyone
-
handbrake sounds like a good place to start but if it does it every time than id be checking wiring. did you instal it? if not then the workshop that did may have done doggy work.

the RB26 probaly not the best option as if its cheap its cheap for a reason and RB26 engines are very expensive to rebiuld (10K min) so if its a bad motor theres 15K down the drain. plus you would need to modify the sump to run RWD no biggie just another thing. you would be better i think rebiulding it as then you now it is a fresh motor. get forgies and run more boost. just IMO

thanks sandy. ive seen that pic before and atfirst i was like whats going on there. is that your car? if so what power does it make? who did the piping ect ect. im not realy sure if i will keep the rb 20 or go to the 25 yet and i do want a forward facing plenum but untill that comes i like this idea.

hi all. i have a standard R32 GTS-t skyline which i am about to fit a cooler to. i have brought a GTR cooler core which i belive is a better option than buying a el-chepo cooler (not bagging them). i also plan do all the pipe work myself so i can make it the way i want. i plan to run the piping off the turbo, across the radiator, down under the battery and into the core. it will then run out of the core, up past the pod and strait up to the throttle body. this way i think will be better than flowing the air the conventional way because it gets far more heat soak on the air that has just been cooled. my first question is: has anyone done this before that you know and can you point me in the direction of any info, good or bad. Seccond: does anyone know where i can find any info on piping size for less lag and proformance? thanks heaps

sorry to add another question it may be somthing you havent thought of. does it matter how high it sits? as you may be able to move it around the strut tower or more towards the pod.

Cutting The Waste Gate Side Of Dump Pipes
DJRIFT replied to adam_lateshift's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
ive been wondering if this idea would be any good. i had some pretty big doubts about it as if it worked well it would have been done to death. -
hi guys ive just opened the latest drift battle and ive seen an add for drifting in tassie. anyways congrats to GMB!
-
im not sure if id worry about using it on a stock motor like mine. especialy when i only realy drive it to work. and the extra kms you get per tank would have to be added up against cost.

i think the GTR bar is ment to be slightly wider than gts t ones to suit the wider gards on GTRs.

pretty sure thays her. her plates were one2nv it sertnly is now. ive also heard from a few different people that she had been drinking and the speed was around 120 but that is unconfermed.

just a quick question. does anyone know if R32 GTR sway bars will fit on to a GTS-t? mainly aftermarket items. also are R32 GTR brakes much of an upgrade on R32 GTS-t? what are they worth? thanks for any help
-
hi i wanted to know if GTR sway bars will fit strait onto a GTS-t R32? i ask this because i have been offered some whiteline adjustable swaybars that have just been pulled out of a R32 GTR and im not sure if they will fit in my R32 GTS-t. i was under the impression that most things are compatible between the GTR and GTS-t but i need some gidence. also are R32 GTR brakes a good upgrade for a GTS-t with mild tuning or not realy worth the while. from what i have read in the past GTR brake calapers are actualy heavier and im not 100% on this but the rotor isnt much bigger ither. ive also been told thet R32 GTR brakes are the same size as R33 GTS-t brakes and its the R33 GTR brakes that make the best upgrade for a GTS-t. so if the following is true what price would be fair to pay for GTR brakes if they are a good upgrade? thanks for any help

hey guys and girls i wanted to know what front bar you think looks realy good on a 32? ive been looking at a few recently but i cant realy decide. the GTR one looks good but is pretty common, same deal with the vertex and uras one. i like the ones just listed but i would like one that made the car look realy horn but not too over the top. a few ive been looking at can be found at www.carmate.com www.monkeywarehouse.com.au if any one knows where i can get a realy nice one please tell me thanks damo

hi todd ive been riding on my pedders springs now for over a week and im pretty happy with them. even thoe i havent got matched shockies its still a firm but comfy ride and it has lowered it just enough to make it look hot. just needs bigger wheels. when i come down on the weekend ill take you for a spin so you can see for yourself.
-
hey todd i was reading in the group buys that they are getting 15% off whiteline gear. you may be able to get some cheap bushes. just a thought
-
how about %1.00 per litre fark the goverment tax on it as they will get heaps in speeding fines ones we get it but realy i hope its only aroung 10cents more than premo to keep it the same as the mainland.

thanks for all the help. from what i have researched in the past a decent core is important as crap cores will drop boost pressure and be less efficiant at cooling. even thoe a GTR cooler is a factory item it would have been engenired to a high standard. if you can buy a cooler and piping for $500 how much R and D would have gone into it.
-
hi all im working on a buget and id like to get a fmic for my new R32 GTS-t. ive found a GTR cooler core for $270 and they seem to be selling for around $300. And i can make all the piping myself so i also need to factor in the price of piping and silicon hoses. So if i could buy a core and make the piping for $500 would i have a better system than buying a cheap kit for the same money. some people say that the GTR core will flow better than most cheap cores and others say it not worth while as they wont flow well enough. any help would be grately appreciated. Djrift
