Hi, For Sale: Rb20det Gearbox $480 $460 slighty negotiable.Price drop again to $420ono...$390CHEAP SOLD PENDING PAYMENT ....SOLD PENDING PAYMENT...SOLD SOLD History- Bought from wrecker though never installed as r33gbox was installed. Presumed good condition. It did come with 3months warranty though has elapsed. $SOLD Stud pattern- 5 X 114.3. These would be good for a drift rim on r32,r33,r34,s15 etc. They are currently on a r33 though require a small spacer to clear the brakes. The reason why I do not my number up is beacuse I do not want to get 50 calls during work time???I would of thought that was obvious as i clearly didnt put my number and asked for everyone to pm. I would then call them when I get a chance.. Is it a rb25det with a t3 style turbo patter, if so yes. This is in the first thread. The external wastegate just does not bolt up, you will need a spacer as i am going to use or another manifold with a flange for an ext. wastegate. Cheers Daniel

  7. vsute, the whole s where the nipple goes.. Yes will bolt on same flange as standard turbo, t3 style. Phantom32, I was also going to put it on my rb25 for drift purposes..Lag would be less then a rb20. I would say start building boost from 2300rpm and full boost by 4200-4400rpm...I was going to work around the lag when using it for drift its not to dificult (if your talking lag as in when it hits full boost, or lag when its on full boost and how quickly it is spinning eg, how quick it revs out.) In the wet, I wouldnt give it in the wet, but normal driving you wouldnt have a problem.. The rear wheel is a steel big HKS item good for 30psi atleast Id say.. Cheers Daniel.. I wouldnt get it if you are interested in minimal lag as it has some, though for drag use it would be optimal as I would run an easy 11 with it on my rb25...which was its intended use. only reason for sale to is that I purchased a gt3040 off a good mate, at mates rates and I am aiming for 280rwkw which tis turbo would be stretched to do with the set-up i planned to run..which is stock everything..   9. Mate, as stated I got this as a present so this is all I know.. By hi-flow the inlet was enlarged. Dynatorque in sydneys west rebuilt it and they sent it to garret to be flowed, I know this for sure. As for the sizes, I have no idea except for the sizes already mentioned. thats why I have tried to provide as many details as possible. + graph.\ Hence the cheap price! If i cann help you any further let me know. I also do not have a graph on photo with rpm. As for lag the car had full boost for about 2300rpm on an rb20det and would drop off power at the end,, now i dont know if this was the turbo or the stock set-up causing it, but when a gt3040R was put on it had a similar effect at the end??? The car ran 12.2 and once boost started it seemed to finish straight away as you would pull another gear. Cheers Cheers
  10. Also for those not sure what a V-Band is, its basically a clamp that can easily be undone when you want to take the turbo off and on, so not unbolting and tightening it back up. It is suppose to have a better seal than a normal bolt on dump also... Cheers

  13. Hi, I have now lowered the price as i need the money for my daughters birthday in 2 weeks..$SOLD - Pending payment I have a turbo for sale that I got for my 21st birthday. Ive had this turbo sitting around for a while though I no longer require it as I have a gt30. Details of Turbo and History. The turbo started off as HKS TO4e. T3 style, will bolt onto standard manifold.(Rb20 + Rb25) It was rebuilt due to sus bearings. 360degree bearings were put in and hi-flowed and new front compressor wheel. The rear t4 .42 housing was changed due to its tiny nature and its ability to make no power. The HKS wheel in the housing was enormous, huge so it was left in. Put in its place was a garret .63 rear housing with major machine work to have the HKS wheel fitted. A V-Band style flange was also made for it at this stage wth an adapter plate to go. Since the rebuild this turbo went from home to tuner and back and then to WSID and thats it. The rb20det it was one had manifold + cams and ran out of puff a little up top. A bigger turbo was chosen and this one given to me, this turbo is off lengend01 's car on these forums. The car ran 12.2@111mph with this turbo. It also made 242RWKW@21-22PSI NOTE: These dyno graphs show the 238rwkw figure, though not much difference. And also in one pic comes as part of the v-band clamp on the end is the adapter for when you get the dump made.. To put things into perspective about $3500 was spent on this turbo, as the builder promised easily 500hp from it or more. $640 reasonable offers welcomed.   15. Hi I have a t04e, its now been hi-flowed and rear housing changed, 360degree thrust bearings etc....started life as a HKS t04e..made 242rwkw at 22psi on rb20..dyno sheet avail.. let me know if your interested Cheers

  17. As i was refering to a vl turbo and most of them being calais's here is some info for you... Calais Base Turbo V8 1354 1383 1407 Thats 1383kgs, last time I checked r33's didnt weigh more then 1400kgs??? Oh by the way I own a r33 gtst and I recently sold a vl sl berlina so thats why I was pretty confident in the weighting department..thank you thank you.. Even if it was a berlina turbo its about 50kgs lighter if that, like I previously stated... I look forward to your prompt response..I rest my case Sorry R33GOD no more from me...   18. There were two factory r34 gtrs that came out with the v-cam, I seen this in a dvd but i cant remember which one.. I think one of them had a big turbo on maybe a t04z I cant remember. I remember them saying it was a new break through for future enthusiasts or somewhere along those lines it would be good to hear more about it.
  19. Vl turbo weight alot less, how much do they weigh..maybe 50kgs lighter???? And using autos, that was the whole point of the thread in the way they were set-up I was refering to running 10's mate with 300rwkw+..it was off topic to r33god though just stating some points from what 700hpGTR said. please read carefully...   20. Just my 2c, Again I think its more upto the set-up rather than the power the vehicle is making...(power is a contributing factor, dont get me wrong.) R33GOD, practice makes perfect thats all there is to it. The people posting that they ran hi 12s with 200rwkw did not do it on their first run ever, well I assume anyway. They have probably been going out a few times to practice there launches and get their 60fts down low and experimenting what rpm to change gears at...its all fun. RE: running 10s -At that power level people usually are more consistant with quicker times with a built auto and soft suspension.. To put things into perspective, I know of many VL Turbos running hi 10s with just over 300rwkw... example..320rwkw, hi-stall convertor, slicks, soft suspension(90/10 front shocks) etc etc, + slicks equats to 10.9's consistantly..ive seen this done before... Thats more like 2$... Thanks Daniel
  21. Hi, As topic suggests I am selling some headligths that came off an r33 s1.5 2door. They originaly came off an r33 4 door im told as the inside of the headlight has a chrome plated insert. The car they were on was in an accident and as a result they are slighty damaged. The left hand side light was cracked around the mounting bracket but has now been fixed, there is also slight damage on the left hand side around the mounting bracket and the corner of the light.
