  1. Hi Guys, Just looking for a reputable car detailer in Sydney's west. Want a good buff and polish done for my new car, maybe just even a good polish job on the car will do. Any one know how much these guys charge to detail a car. Cheers D
  2. SOLD.....to me
  3. Can I bring the Aristo ...its completely stock so don't worry rb26's
  4. Keep em coming guys. Hopefully someone will read this that has already done this before. D
  5. 1. That's what I thought. In mentioning the ignition cut I thought the same thing and also realise that the tailshaft will be completely solid aswell, whereas a normal auto tailshaft also has some kind of gas/compression thing on the back shaft to reduce the force aswell. We'll see how the box goes I guess. Cheers
  6. VDO thing sounds good, but how does it work exactly seeing that the box end of things is mech and not electronic.. The tail shaft thing sounds good, but I guess we will experiment first with the man/auto stuff as we already have some, somewhere. Cheers
  7. Few reasons actually; 1. Bought all running gear out of 10sec VL so it came with the package. 2. R33 gtst auto is electronically controlled and doesnt let you utilize an replacement ecu as they do not control electronic gearbox's. So this leaves you with only piggy backs ecu's. 3. Taking the manual out and replacing with an auto as I mentioned earlier its for a drag setup. If you need me to explain the benefits of an auto over a manual in a drag application let me know.
  8. Just for reference sake, my mate had similar mods but with front mount ic, pod and exhaust and made 198rwkw on the same dyno. I think he had an safc or they done something with the standard ecu. and he was running 12psi. Just noticed your running the completely standard boost settings going from 5psi to 7psi. So that power is right on for your boost and mods. Cheers
  9. Hi Guys, Just need some info for my mate so here it goes; The car is a r33 gtst and it now has an rb30/25 sitting in the engine bay. Some questions we have is in regards to the vlt auto gearbox. 1. As you may be aware this gearbox is not electronically controlled like the r33 auto's. So my question is will the car have any difficulties running a fully built auto gearbox from a vl. The car was previously manual so no auto ecu in the car. I figured it wouldn't be a problem but better to ask. 2. Are vl turbo and r33gtst auto flywheels the same? 3. How do we go about getting a proper signal to the speedo? I believe the vlt box is mech driven speedo and the 33 elect delivered? Any ideas? 4. What tailshaft combo could we use to bolt it all together? Atm the entire man tailshaft is in there and its to long by a few inches. Will putting a front shaft of an auto work? Can anyone forsee any other issues with using a setup like this? Cheers and thanks in advance, Daniel
  10. Sounds good. Cheers
  11. 33 front bored out with bigger wheel Vg30 rear with bigger wheels. Dont know much about it as I got it off another car my dad bought. I think it may have to4 internals.
  12. lol, the auto DIED (slipping majorly) so I converted it to manual. No tranny cooler or anything on it lasted over 6months of punishment.
  13. Hi guys thanks for the replys; It was for a c34 stagea. Im not going ahead with that car anymore as negotiations came to a halt and the buyer scared me off by not providing vin chassis numbers for revs check. I think I will be going with state roads as it seems very popular. I wonder if you can pay them more to do a compression test? Cheers D
  14. I got 235rwkw with my auto r33 on 12psi with just a hi-flow, so its definitely achievable.

  17. HI Guys, Just wondering what the main difference's are between the 25XT stagea S2 and the 25RS (rS4's) s2. Like cosmetics Drive train Interior Cheers D
  18. Andy, i'm also getting a check for a stagea. Were you with the guy when he was doing the check. Did he seem to really know what to check for on an import..esp rust prone area's etc? How much for roadcheck? I rang state roads and they seem good, and at $210 its not bad. Cheers Daniel
  19. Hi Guys, I am looking for an alternative to the NRMA on site vehicle inspection as NRMA no longer go to the house or place that you are purchasing the car from. Has anyone had any experience from using other on site vehicle inspectors and can anyone recommend any? I'm obviously looking for a detailed inspection. My only other option is to take it to a mechanic or NRMA Motorserve, but that means driving the car to an inspection station which I dont want to do for many reasons. Thanks in advance. Cheers, D
  20. I guess it depends where you are then. example: 03 wrx completely stock. using say vortex to bp98 is a noticable difference say 1-2psi (bp98 been the better of the two). That model wrx is very sensitive to fuel and changes in performance modifications aswell. So there has to be something happening. Oh and ive used a different fuel for what my car was tuned to and it was pinging on this 98ron fuel??Has to be a difference.
  21. Dude, They took it (boost98) away from a few servos down were I am and I had to go to castle hill all the time to get the fuel as this was the only servo that had it in western sydney. I even emailed the owner and he said that they were phasing it out? Besides that its good news if there bringing it back out again at the servos near me, and better fuel then boost98, excellent...
  22. United is getting back Boost98??? Or is it better then boost98. I dont understand why they bring fuels out, phase them out and bring them back out again. I understand that ethonal is good for servo owners (tax benefits) and the australian economy (sugar caine I think) and environment (lower emissions) but why bring it in and out. I dont want to always be tuning my car from boost98 or vpower racing to bp98...but im a big fan of the ethonal based fuels.
  23. there about $380 ^^^^ http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=248142
