  1. Cos they look better than anything else. Cars shouldn't look like space ships. they don't need any extra vents and 'over' styling
  2. Can Second that.. Mine cost me a pretty Penny - was worth it though
  3. sometimes some 'stock' cars can seem to make more power than other 'stock' cars due to a leaning out fuel pump. I know cos this was the case with mine... Dealer just told me it was a 'freak' and that some just made more power - all it was doing was running lean..........
  4. ahh there's no beaten around the bush with nismoid.

  13. mmm electrical tape - not one problem since!
  14. This is true, but that was a select few and not everyone. you yourself were on the one before this - I just feel the whole event should not be branded as a blantant disrespect for the club and road rules. anyways I'm over this - this sucks
  15. This may all be true. And, yes it does not look good for the club. However, I do not think the finger should be pointed at everyone who attends these cruises and furthermore blanket the entire cruise as an illegal road race. I wonder how many people in this club have lost thier licences in the past, I know i have, and consequently drive much more sensibly because of it. Likewise i think a lot of people will learn from this, and perhaps unfortunately it takes something like this to happen to get the message across. I like many other have enjoyed myself in a safe manner, and feel it's a shame that others will be detered and frown upon such events. I am definately looking forward to the official GOR cruise to see what thats all about.
  16. Accidents happen everyday, and more often than not people have themselves to blame for them. If i let every indicent that ever happened to someboday in a car, or more specificly a skyline, change the way 'I' think, then I would never want to do a track day, never want to go to the strip and never want to go on a cruise. Hell i should probably stay away from intersections... Myself like Dillon have been on the last two and have enjoyed them thoroughly. It's up to yourself (i.e the driver) to make decisions on how you will behave. I am not condoning any illegal behaviour, and am not suprised that accidents do happen, however i always have a good day and enjoy talking to others about thier cars.
  17. Yeh my tires are no good, so i took it pretty easy as my tires always keep me in check. your car handled very well from what i could see.
  18. seen a couple of r8's lately. 1 outside the winning edge gym in deepdene and my neighbour has just bought one... omg looks unbeleivable
  19. btw anyone got anymore pics? I need to get some off my mate who was in the car with me as he was able to take more than me.
  20. so Dillon, my car + 8k your way for you car... think about it (205rwKW gtst with pfc) + $8000 mmm sounds like a good deal...
  21. mmm that would be one sweet drive....
  22. my car also struggles to start when cold ever since i changed from the stock fuel pump to a bosch intank item. Even with considerable priming (ignition on for about 5 - 6 seconds) the car cranks and struggles. Once it doesn that it turns over fine. I ve had the fuel pump taken oout and tested and it flows fine. The instal is also fine so i to am scratching my head at this. Basically whats happening is when the car is switched off the fuel lines lose preesure with after market pumps and the fuel drains away. Problem is it doesn't seem to pick up enough even if you prime it to be able to start first go. IT starts fine the second time you go to start it as it has built up some pressure from the first time. I might see if a one way valve of some description will help this problem if i fit it to the fuel line or something.
  23. I think it does anyways when it goes over 60. (default i think) I know my engine light flashes if it goes over 60.
  24. I havent had anyproblems with mine. car makes 203rwkw with pfc on standard turbo so no flow issues either. Only thing i can say is it is quite loud. Might be bcos mine has a hotdog resonator instead of a proper mid oval style muffler. sounds great though.
